First of all, I would like to let every kitty know that Cocoa is doing well and his CBC count dropped from 64,000 to 12,000. He also went from 8.1 to 8.8 pounds (within 10 days). He had all of us purry scared but thanks to mom's love and strong antibiotics, he pulled through the meanie infection. I also did purrry well with my nail clippings and no muzzle needed like the last time *giggles* The girl brought both Cocoa and me to the back and when Cocoa was done with his blood work and I with my nails, we were returned back to our mom. Doc Wray did speak to mom privately and told her how well Cocoa is doing and discussed his results. Mom is to keep a close eye to make sure that he continues eating which mom always watches us closely.
Well, I think I'll take a long kitty nap since I did have somewhat of a busy evening... By the way, my nails look pawsome and feel great on meowmy when I give her mashed potatoes. Mom will not take me to a groomer fur that was the reason I have a problem with getting my nails clipped. A few years ago when it was time fur my big Cat Show, my breeder sent me to the groomer and obviously, they did something that made me feel uncomfy Either they had an attitude with me or cut too closely. Ever since then, I never went to a groomer again. Mom feels more comfortable about going to the Vet's office anyway... By the way, I am the only one in the home who gives a cat-itude when it comes to getting my nails done. Silly me!

Well, this evening, Cocoa will be going in to see Dr Wray to have his white cell count reevaluated and we're all purraying that the levels have dropped. Poor Cocoa has been so sick but has shown improvement while taking the Orbax for thse past 10 days, as well as the love that meowmy has given him. Love has such strong powers. Please continue to keep your paws crossed that Cocoa's blood work will show improvement with dropped levels. Doc wants to see it at at least 48,000 (from 64,000).
Cocoa isn't the only one going to the Vet tonight. You see, it am impawsible to do my nails so mom takes me to the Vet to have my nails clipped. For some reason, I will not allow those meanie clippers near my big paws so mom has no other choice. My breeder thinks that I may have had a bad experience at the groomers just before one of my big shows. Maybe the groomer became impatient with me or clipped too closely but something happened when I was there. My breeder was purrry disturbed and never took me back to a groomer again. Actually, when I go to see Doc Wray fur the nail clippings, I become purry annoyed and give them a big fight. I will not viciously attack but I will put my mouth on their hand which shows I mean business. Last time, Doc had to put a cloth muzzle on my mouth which I'm sure I will have to wear one again tonight. This is fur their protection as well as mine. Mom has tried to do my nails but doing only one isn't a good thing. We all love Doc Wray but this is one appointment that I'm not looking forward to... Can you believe that mom and dad call me "Hannibal Monte" *giggles*
My beloved son, Picasso's girl Chloe was just diagnosed with being in kidney failure so please keep her in your purrrs & purrrayers. Chloe is also one of today's DDP which we're all so proud of her. Stay strong little girl and know that we're all here fur you and love you dearly.

I would like to take this special moment to let everyone know that today marks the 6th month Annifursary since our beloved sister, KASHMERE* made her journey into Heaven. Mom has a candle lit to let her know that we're thinking of her and love & miss her purrry much *wipes eyes* It has been a purrry difficult 6 months fur all of us but we know that she's in a wonderful place with her beloved brother, Angel Picasso. Mom always says that time may help heal the heart but it will never take away the pain that we endure when losing a pet, as they are a member of the family...
This morning, meowmy had to be in work at 7:30 am - 12:30, which is purry early fur her. Dad had to leave fur his work at 4:15 am so it was a bit too early to feed us breakfast at that time. Mom fed us as soon as she got up at 5:45 am. We also get dinner at 5:00 pm along with an evening snackie between 10:00-10:30 pm. This isn't to mention that 3 bowls of dry is also out fur us to eat at all times.
Well, first of all, I would like to meow how beautiful the weather was today, especially fur being the month of October. Before mom left fur work, she opened the windows, knowing that it would be getting warmer. As soon as she came home, there we were, hogging the windows and enjoying the fresh springlike weather... We heard mom talking was she was coming into the home, but we had no idea to who she was conversing with??? OMC... you'll never believe who she was talking to *giggles* Are you ready fur this one? Mom was actually talking to the ladybugs that were sitting on the glass Storm Door. The sudden weather change brought out so many cute little ladybuggies and mom just loves those as well as purrty butterflies. I wonder if the ladybugs answered her back *shakes head* She hopes to see them again, tomorrow...
Tomorrow is mom's off day so she'll be spending the day doing laundry, cleaning the hardwood floors and of course, taking us out fur a stroll except fur Cocoa since he hates the stroller with a passion!
Have a wonderful week my dear furiends and be sure to enjoy this pawsome weather while it lasts. Not sure when it will be getting colder again but we do know that it's suppose to last all week long, Mom may even take her car to get a bubble bath at the car wash, tomorrow!
Sending a warm thank you to Catster fur the cool dancing Halloween Skull giftie!
