Kobe passed away this morning. He was diagnosed with feline diabetes at the end of last year but the vets couldn't figure out the cause. He had some good days but some very bad. It appears he was much sicker than we had thought. We loved him very much. He was an amazing kitty and in his heyday, he was quite the hunter (birdkiller). He had attitude but if you had a warm blanket or a belly rub for him, he would purr forever. I already miss him terribly. Thank you for being such a good cat, little buddy. Rest easy, the good ones.
