Hi everyone! Wow, my first diary entry!

Hey thanks to everyone for wishing me well on my birthday, which was yesterday, so sorry for the day late thank you's! It is very nice to be wished a happy b-day by one's friends.

Mom took me out for a nice walk yesterday. She doesn't always have a lot of time for walks anymore with the kids having swim team and her triathlon training, but I try to guilt her into it as often as I can.

So I got to run her around the front and back yards. I checked out the long grass all the way in the back, I checked out the wood pile at the edge of the woods, and I checked out lots of bushes. Hmm, no chipmunks anywhere yesterday, very disappointing.

But, I did get to roll around in my sandpit and mom threw sticks for me to chase and walk around with. She says I'm like a dog, how insulting!

For 1st birthday suppers I had chicken breast, gizzards, and a neck. Very eh. For second suppers we had locally raised pork chunks, not that's more like it!

What's that mewma? Work? Well I could keep on going here. No? They don't want to here about this morning's zoomies?? Ok.

Whoa! All this time on Catster and this is the first diary entry? Shade you gotta keep us in the loop of your pawsome life! That sounds like fun running around the yard. We have plenty of chippies and squirrels here you could chase anytime.

That is insulting, how could she say something like that to you! A dog! Hmmmphhh!

Glad you had a great birthday! Write more often, we like it.

Shade! You finally started a diary ~ well, it's about time! Us kitties are fascinating and lead the most interesting lives ~ hope you keep on writing so we can hear about all your adventures. Going out for a walk on your birthday sounds purrfect!
