Arrival Story:
A friend of mine told me her tail-less cat, Dan (short for Dandylion) was about to have kittens. A year before I had lost a cat that I had for 18 years. I thought it was about time to have another furry baby in my life. Lucy was born on mothers day 2008. I was told my friend was gonna keep Lucy and I actually picked out another baby.. His name was Jepha. A few weeks after the kittens wer born we noticed that Jepha was having problems keeping his poo in. What sometimes happens with tail-less cats is that they get Manx-syndrome. His muscles in his rectum were not developed enough and he eventually passed on not long after. I was crushed but I continued to visit and Lucy would come to me and climb on my shoes and want me to hold her. I fell in love and when my friend told me she was going to be shipped to the country to be a barn cat, I said absolutly not and I took her home where she has been ever since.

Bio:
She isn't very affectionate when she is in front of her brother Benny. She gets excitable so easily, but when we are alone at night and going to sleep she won't stop giving me kitty kisses on my eyes, or inside my nostrils(eww i know but she loves bugars and earwax.) We curl up together she makes sure I am tucked in and then she curls up next to me and sleeps. Lucy is a Rumpy meaning there is no stump or cartilage on her behind.. and she hops around like a bunny hence the name my little bunny butt
