Arrival Story: Skippy and his brother Tigger came to me as fosters when they were approx 5 weeks old. I was supposed to have them for 3 weeks. Then at 8 weks of age they would go back to the shelter and be adopted out. Well our entire family fell in love with these two! It's been so long since I've had a kitten around, I had forgotten what clowns they can be! And our house is already a zoo, so why not just add to it, right?

Bio: It's amazing to me how much Skippy is like my older cat Hershey. She is also a Siamese mix. He has so many mannerisms just like her! It must be a Siamese thing, because Tigger doesn't act anything like that. Skippy is soooo talkative, I love it!
We named him Skippy Jon Jones after the children's book. In this book the main character (Skippy) is a Siamese kitten, he has such big ears that he thinks that he is a Chihuahua. And yes we have a Chihuahua also! What a perfect name for him!
