MOL!!! WOW! DDP again! Dat's grand!! Concats 'n enjoy ur spotlight dayz~!!! U r a really KEWL kitty!! Head bonks 'n purrs, MILO 'n MALLEE Congrats Daniel on another DDP!! We were catching up on your diary entries and saw where your family thought that having wild cats living indoors might not be fair to them. Mom's daughter brought a kitten home in 2008 and she is still pretty wild. Sis was working long days and the kitten had 2 older bro-furs that she loved hanging with. Cocoa did not want to cuddle with Sis. After time Sis could not even catch her without chasing her through their home, to what is now the baby's room, and then she can usually catch her for vet visits or if she needs meds. Otherwise, she does not desire to cuddle or even be petted. She will sniff Mom's hand at times, but that is all. She demands attention from her now 3 bro-furs and they give her plenty. In our home Fluffee and Little Star were feral kitties. Star tamed quickly. Fluffee finally started allowing Mom to pet her, then to hold her. Now Mom can do what she needs with her, but no one else. She hisses at them. Personally, providing food, shelter, litter and gentle attention could develop into trust. And later they may become some of the tamest kitties you have ever known. Perhaps they can be confined to a room, for a short time, to allow the other cats in the house to have playtime, then reverse if those kittens want to come out and play. Purrs that either they will become trusting or your Gramma can find homes with people who can work with them. Hugs, The Bush Furs & Mom Mary Happy Diary Pick Daniel! I'm glad you got toys to celebrate with; it's fun isn't it. We have the bird toy that makes chirping sounds too! We don't really play with it though, but it sits in a box and if we lie in the box it chirps! Your Mom is wonderful to donate to the shelters too. Love Ginger xo |
