Arrival Story:
Minnow lived on the shore of Lake Erie at the 55th street marina with her babies. She was trapped and now lives in our house. We are working on getting her socialized, but since she is older it will take more time. She has adjusted well to inside life and has gained some curves since moving in ;) She is playing with toys, but as soon as she sees you are watching her play, she will stop! She really likes her little nieces Rosie and Lucie. You can often see her snuggling with one of them. She is also close to her son and is a great Mama to him. She is a very quiet cat, she keeps to herself mostly. She likes to hang out in the playhouse, which has been renamed Stronie's Cottage.

Minnow got her name because the fisherman at the marina fed her and her babies minnows. She is a very pretty girl. We can't wait until we can pet her and show her how much she is loved!

At last! At last I am free from solitary confinement! Hooray!

It all happened yesterday, The Lady came and opened the door, then she walked away...just like that! No trumpets, no red carpet...just an open door. So I scuttled down the stairs as fast as I could, before she could change her mind.

A few minutes later she brought my cottage down so I could hang out inside of it like I like to do.

Everytime she came downstairs I was in a different spot. I made sure I laid in every bed downstairs, then I sat on the radiator and scoped out the front yard, then I hung out in my cottage with Rocky. I even crawled inside the box that Rosie likes to hang out in. Yep, I made sure that I made my presence known so that the other cats know that I am back!!!

Still in solitary

Well it has been almost a month and I am still in solitary confinement!

The Lady said that if I pee for her on Monday, she will get it tested and if I am bacteria free then I will get run of the house again!

I will have to admit though, it is kind of nice being on my own. I don't have the boys chasing and picking on me or Bella acting stupid and hissing at me. I have my own water fountain and food dishes and I don't have to share unless Rosie, Lucie or Rocky come and hang out with me. I get more wet food now than I ever have before. I have my own private window that I can watch birds from. Maybe I will stay here a little bit longer and enjoy the perks!

Not going to do it!

Nope, no way, nada, nuh-uh, NO! I am not going to pee in that litter pan full of black crystals. The Lady will not take my fluids with out my permission.

Of course she did say something about being taken out of solitary confinement and put back into general pop if I can show her I have no more infection...hmmmm, being downstairs would be nice but she has to put my cottage and favorite bed back where they were before-otherwise the deal is off!

*goes to sit and think about peeing in that weird litterbox....*
