For the past few weeks mommy has been under the weather and very tired, that when she gets home from work, on goes the pj's and on the settee she snuggles.

You have bonded with baby already. I just know you will be bestest of furends. All that stuff they say about cats and babies is a bunch of hoohey . Cats can be as protective as dogs. I never understand why people think they have to get rid of their pets when a baby comes along. My parents had a kitty before I was born, and that kitty lived with us until it died at age 19. It was a family member! Concats! It may be a few years, but in time, the baby may become your best friend. My fur-cousin Raven now adores her human child and sleeps in her room with her. My mommy had a baby in October. There was nefur any talk of getting rid of us kitties. Jen an mommy readed on the 'puter that the people should bring home something with the baby's smell on it, before bringing home the baby, so's a dog can gets used to the smell. Jen bringed home a little hat fur us kitties to sniff & a little blankie fur the puppies to sniff. When the baby came home, it was no big deal. We already knowed her smell. CONGRATS ON A NEW BABY!!! We are so happy to hear the good news. I don't understand why people ask if you are going to get rid of your pet....my goodness they are part of the family. Congratulations! you will be a great big sisfur and will be there to help your Mom! Kitties make great baby watchers and Mom helpers... Xena Congrats to your family! Some people are so dumb about cats and babies - my family had a cat when the girls were babies and also heard a few dumb comments like that. Congratulations !! I am sure you will be a great big sister. How sad that people think that having a human baby means there is no room for furry babies. I hope they don't have pets..They don't deserve to.
