Arrival Story: Before we got Tilly in November 2008, we had lost two beautiful young cats to car accidents in 18 months. Martyn and I made the decision not to get another cat whilst living at our address. I missed our babies so much, I wrote a letter to our local cattery (where we took our baby Rhea when we went on holiday) asking if I could help out once a week. The lovely owner Angie agreed, met me and gave me a trial (still working there still as I love it so much). I had been there 3 months when Angie told me about Tilly (then named Timmy). Her then owner wanted rid of her, she had got Tilly from her daughter who got rid when she became pregnant. Tilly came into the Cattery at the end of October, she was nothing like my previous cats but she jumped on my knee and started pudding with her paws into my knee, just like Rhea did and this tugged the heart strings. I spoke to Martyn about her but he refused to speak about the subject. It has been 5 months since losing Rhea, but the pain was still there, and was the time right??
I could not forget Tilly, I felt she needed me so I decided to phone her owner to ask her a few questions. She mentioned that if she did not get a new home by December she was going to have her put down. There and then, I knew the time was right, I said I would take her. Martyn refused to speak to me, and was mad about me making a decision without him, but I could not let this woman get this little cat destroyed. 4 days later Tilly arrived at our home, she was dumped my arms, with just one bowl, brush, collar and medical history. I adored her from the beginning, but Martyn, it took time, now she know the word 'daddy' and meets him at the door each night.
Tilly has really settled in with our family and gets on with our house bunny Anna. She is not as loving as our other cats Pebbles and Rhea, but she will come to us for attention when required. Tilly could never replace what we have lost but do I regret getting her ....................... NEVER, the hurt is still there from losing Rhea, but Tilly makes it all bearable, she is mummy's little girl and we love her loads, we are her 4th home, but this time Tilly it is for keeps, you will be a member of our family forever, and thank you Tilly for loving us back.

Bio: Tilly has lived with us for 3 years now, and what a difference time makes. She does have her naughty days when she will just attack you, but mainly she is loving, comes for attention and if she is not getting it becomes very vocal. When we got Tilly it is sad to say that we were not ready for another cat also if it had not been for her situation probably would not have adopted her, it took a long time to get her to bond with us as we were her 4th home, but now she is our world, a very much loved, spoilt little cat. Mommy loves you very much and I am so glad I made the decision to get you, it has been a hard bonding 2 years but hey we got there in the end kid. xx
In the middle of December 2010 Tilly's personality changed even more, she started being more loving towards me and became my little shadow. I adore my little girl so much sometimes i do mother her and she attacks but no attacks, the reason soon became apparent. I was pregnant with our first baby. Tilly has been amazing, the first one to know and now we are starting another chapter of our family. We had our little boy called Ethan on the 6th September 2011, I am hoping in the years to come that Tilly and Ethan grow up to become best friends, at the moment Tilly is not much taken with Ethan but am sure that this will change in the years to come.

Mommy was convinced that she had caught Belle but she had a surprise visitor Sunday morning. Mommy opened the patio curtains and there on the half built conservatory sat a little black cat 'no it can not be' so Mommy opens the door and in walks Belle sits down on the dining room rug waiting for her breakfast.
OH NO!!!! it must have been the male stray cat that Mommy had taken to the cats protection. She quickly phones Sue and explains the situation, it was no problem other than Mommy wanted Belle out the way of the heavy snow we had.
Yes Belle has more than 9 lives she has escaped twice from Mommy now, she is just one amazing little girl. Belle at the moment is sleeping in a box that Mommy's Daddy built, Mommy has put extra blankets in to make sure she is nice and warm. Also Belle is turning up for extra food, she had a whole chicken cooked for her yesterday to make sure she was eating well in this cold weather.
Will not be able to catch her this weekend as Sue's cat cages are all filled up but hopefully in two weeks time we will be able to catch Belle.
Will keep you updated love Tilly xx

This morning Mommy managed to trap 3 cats including our Belle, this is such good news as once Belle is spayed we can have her back. Also Mommy caught her last kitten and a little kitten from another litter. We are due bad snow this afternoon at least Mommy knows where Belle is and that she is being well looked after. We are hoping to get her back next Saturday but this completely depends on the weather.
The hardest part was leaving Belle behind, she was climbing the large cat pen she was in because she was that scared but we must remember that this is for the best and soon she will be free again in our back yard.
I will keep you updated with any news on Belle, at the moment Mommy is feeling very deflated as when she looks out the patio window there is not little black cat to greet her :o( Looking like I will have to give extra cuddles today.
Lots of love Tilly xx

Mommy has finally managed to get a photo of Belle (our new name for her) and decided that she deserves her own Catster page. Please check her out:
http://www.catster.com/cats/1231381
At this moment we are waiting to catch Belle take her to the cats protection who will spay her and under our agreement will return her back to Mommy. Hopefully she will not be in kitten otherwise they will have to keep her until she has had the kittens and brought them up.
Belle is around 10 months old and already had a litter of kittens, she has been fed by my Mommy for around 26 weeks and is regarded as a member of our family.
Mommy understands that Belle is feral and may never allow Mommy to pick her up, but she is loved in other ways by treats of chicken and tuna, and in return sometimes Mommy can touch her nose. When she asks for food she has a high pitch squeak and sneaks into the house each morning to eat her breakfast.
Will keep you updated love Tilly xx
