Arrival Story:
I was leaving K Mart and heard a cat yelling in the parking lot. I thought it was in someone's car and was just about ready to call the police since it was pretty hot that day. I kept following the meow until I realized it was coming from a shrub. Tigger was in a briar bush! I went back inside and bought some cat food to try and coax him out. That didn't work. Then a man came by and said he'd hold the branches back while I reached in to get the kitten. I took him to the humane society but when they refused to notify me when his time was up, I took him to the vet for shots, deworming, debugging etc. I was NOT in the market for another pet since I already had three cats!! But I had no choice. Now, seven years later, two of the four are gone due to old age. : ( I'm really thankful now that things worked out the way they did at the humane society! Tigger has a really cute, fraidy cat personality and is lots of company.
