Just three years ago, my Meowmy saved me from a kill shelter. I was set to die because I was very old and blind. Meowmy learned about me from a wonderful place called Blind Cat Rescue of North Carolina. I was supposed to go there to live, but I stole Meowmy's heart, then Purrdaddy's too, so I suddenly had a forever home!

In the almost-year I had with my pawrents, I was loved so much. I had chronic renal failure, and Meowmy learned to give sub-Q fluids. Every day we cuddled and talked while I got 'stuck'. I hated it at first, but eventually I wasn't so frightened and realized somehow it must help me 'cause I felt much better afterwards.

I was quite a teacher! From me, Meowmy learned that blind cats are just like other kitties and need loving homes, too. Won't you stop by their website at www.blindcatrescue.com and meet the blind kitties there? It's an amazing place with many remarkable cats - cats just like me.
