Arrival Story:
I wanted to adopt another kitty. So I went to www.vhslifesaver.org and found Josie. Her name was Mayflower, but she didn't look like a Mayflower to me. When I seen her, I had to have her. That is how I found Tigress also. So I knew it was ment to be!

Bio:
The Humane Society told me that she was adopted as a kitten there. But someone picked her up about a month ago just roaming around outside. No one ever clamied her. This kitty has all four paws declawed and is spayed. I would like to think that she just got out somehow, but I don't know if thats the case or if someone dumped her off. Either way she is my new baby now!

Josie is adjusting well. Tigress and Josie have started playing with each other. At first they would play and still growl and hiss. Now they chase each other with out the hissing and growling. I am surprised at how fast they are taking to each other. But am grateful for it! (11/21/08)

(As posted in Tigress' Diary)
I have been gone off of Catster for a while now. Meowmy needed sometime before she could get back on here. In my absence alot has happened here on Catster. I first want to say thank you to all that has given my and my family rosettes and pmails about Alexis . Meowmy was very sad about her. She will add a bit about that at the end of me diary. But first I want to say a thank you to all that needs to be thanked.

Mercy, Oly, Noah, Petrie, Oliver, Rico, & Petals: Thanks so much for your rosettes and stars. Even though you all are hurting too, you reached out and gave. Thank you to your meowmy Dana. For her being brave enough to be there holding Lexy's paw as she crossed to the bridge.

Hazel Lucy: Thank you so much for the in memory card of Lexy. Meowmy needed that sooo much. Hazel Lucy you help so many furs and people, you and your mom's calling in life is so abundantly clear. I thank you so much that you embrace this calling. Hazel Lucy runs a Thread called Catsters In Need of Serious Purring. She includes Dogsters too. This is just a small example of how dedicated they are to make everbody fell loved and cared for.

Thanks for the rosettes, Special gifts, stars, and Pmails:
Lucy & Family, Alfie & Family, Sagan & Family, Vincent & Family: Thank you my sweet husband for your love. Now you and your meowmy need my love. (Martha, so sorry about your dad.), Skylar & Family, Tucker & Family, Margo & meowmy, Kingsley & Family, Captain Morgan & Family, Fluffy & Alex & Family, Sawyer & Family, Taag & Family, Alfie & Family, Chai & Family, Hannah & Family, Alfiechinacat & Mum.

Thanks again for all your support. This catster and dogster community is the best kind of support you can get. So much friendship and love. Thanks everyone.

Purrrrs,
Tigress & Josie

Note from Meowmy Leslie:
I had to add a little note. I want to thank everyone for their prayers for Lexy. Not many knew that Lexy was my doggie first. But I don't look at it that way, I look at it as her having a whole bunch of mommys. She was very much loved.
I first seen her when I was visiting my mom in Illinoise. She and her sister lived with mom and my step-dad. (Lucy & Lacey) I can't remember which Lexy was, I think Lacey. They were supose to be hunting dogs. Thats what my step-dad bought them for. Well Lexy didn't make a good hunting dog. Even though she was a beagle, she didn't care for the loud noises, which isn't good for a hunting dog lol. On top of that she was a runt of the litter, so she wasn't a full sized beagle. (Not to mention her tea cup tail! LOL) I fell in love with her. I was living with my Aunt (Dana Oly's mom) and my grandma at the time in Kansas. We had a dog Missy pluse a full house with cats. So I did the most logical thing. I brought her back with me, without telling anyone in Kansas I was bring home a dog!
It didn't take long for everyone to love her though. She never did get to love loud noises. But she gave Missy compainionship in a house full of cats! Then gave my grandma compainionship when Missy went to the bridge.
Even though I moved away and had to leave her behind, I still thought of her as my dog. But I think she was where she needed to be. As she gave my grandma company that only a dog knows how to give.
I went over to her page today and seen the pic with her wings, I must confess, that made it real for me. I want to thank my Aunt Dana for being with her when she went over to the bridge. I know Dana is a specal kind of person that can give and give, no matter how little she gets in return. To be with them in the end would be unbelievably hard. She has the heart of compasion like non I have ever seen. Thank you Dana for helping her and saying good-bye.
I know she is barking that beagle bark and chasing all those things in which she was forbidden here on earth, running with Missy beside her.
I love you Alexis Elizabeth Alowishus Luscious Potentate the Third. (Some nick name huh!)
All my love and thanks,
Leslie
