Arrival Story:
I was searching for two kittens for some time and saw an ad in the paper for a local vet clinic that had a litter of kittens - something had happened to the mother cat. Shortly after calling to see if any were still up for adoption - in particular black kittens- luck was on my side and they had both a black and a gray kitten, boy and girl. I drove there immediately, went to the back with the technician and just instantly fell in love as I held the 4-week old mewing babies that would be mine. Even though I signed the papers on the spot, they were too young to release and I had to wait an agonizing 2 more weeks before bringing my bundles of joy home. Inspired by an arthurian movie, I named them Queen Mab and Frick after the main characters. Little did I know how perfect those names would suit the personalities of my beloved kit-kits. We are inseparable and I cannot express how much joy they bring to my life every day.

Bio:
Mab is the most slinky silky-haired cat I've ever seen. At first I thought she was going to be solid black with the exception of the gold spot on her chest, but she has orangey/gold spots all over, like a black tortoiseshell and eyes as big as saucers. When I wake, she is usually on the pillow next to me. Ahhh, kitty love at its best.
