Getting pet on her head and under her chin, the highest spots she can jump to, little kittens that she can pretend are her babies
Excessive petting, other dominant females bug her a bit
Any fake mouse that she can carry around by the tail
Favorite Nap Spot:
On top of the cages in my rescue, on her favorite blue caterpillar blanket (see pic)
Purina Pro Plan Chicken and Rice Dry
Great jumper, carrying around FAKE mice
Bindy came to me this past February, when someone from Indiana had taken her in when she was pregnant. Bindy had roamed their neighborhood for many years and had given birth to at least 4 other litters. However, this was the first time she was pregnant in the bitter cold, and so the people took her in, not having the experience or resources to properly care for a pregnant cat and her soon-to-be kittens. This woman responded to an ad I had placed on here for one of my other rescue kitties, asking me if I could help, and one week later, Bindy was safe and sound in my rescue.
Once Bindy's babies were weaned and adopted, she received all of her vet care. Bindy has been SPAYED, RABIES AND DISTEMPER vaccinated, NEGATIVE snapptested, and is also MICROCHIPPED! Paperwork will accompany this kitty to her new home.
Bindy is a BEAUTIFUL long-haired female Maine Coon, almost 6 years old. She has very unique markings, is medium-framed, and has the most gorgeous and distinct green eyes. Bindy is a very friendly and approachable girl. Besides loving to get her face rubbed, she LOVES to climb to the highest point in my rescue, and sleep and watch all the action from high up. She also is nosy, and follows me around meowing, especially when it is food time. She also gets along with the other kitties, particularly a rather large male in my rescue. She also mothers the smaller cats in my rescue, licking them and following them around. As you can see from her pics, she was a great mother. She is friendly and likes humans and is not afraid of strangers, either. Bindy has had a perfect record for litter box usage, as well. Her only quirk is that sometimes, when she has had enough of your petting, she will give you a little nip to say she's had enough. It is a friendly little nip. :)
Bindy needs to be adopted to a quiet home with NO CHILDREN. She does not like to be picked up and carried. Also, she does not like excessive petting all over, so she needs to go to owners who want companionship and are okay with snuggling with Bindy on her terms, meaning, Bindy will lay by you and want attention from you when she feels like it. :)
If you think Bindy may be the right kitty for you, please contact me. This will be the first winter EVER that she has not had to suffer outside, so we are all very excited for her! Can you provide Bindy with her first warm and loving home?
