Likes:
Soma LOVES to spread out and receive tummy rubs! She LOVES chasing, pouncing and wrestling with her sister Kali, snuggling under the blankets with Mommy and Daddy at night and waking us up at 4:30 am by softly pawing my face!

Pet-Peeves:
Soma doesn't like loud, big people. She is a very shy cat but has made huge strides towards being a more open, upfront kitten! She also hates it when her sister steals away her furry mouse while she is playing with it!

Favorite Toy:
Soma LOVES the little furry mice and ice cubes!

Favorite Nap Spot:
The IKEA Poang chair, Mommy's lap and on our dirty laundry!

Favorite Food:
Soma LOVES her Wellness dry food!

Skills:
Soma is truely a wonderful cat that likes to drown the fake mice in the water bowl!

Dwells:
indoors

Arrival Story:
I saw this beautiful kitten on Petfinder when she was about 10 weeks old (it took me a few more days to see her sister on the site). I was completely blown away by how beautiful she was and so the love began! We adopted her and her sister Kali through The Second Chance Fund for Animal Welfare in Stow, MA on October 9, 2004 when they were just about 12 weeks old! They were given no names by their foster parents and were simply called #1 and #2! I have to admit that we had a hard time picking names for these two, but the names made sense after we had these babies for a few days! They are Sanskrit names -- Soma means moon and Kali means sun (Well Kalinda, but we didn't like that!)

Bio:
Soma and her sister Kali were found in a warehouse when they were five weeks old.. There were three sisters found, one of which was adopted prior to us finding the kittens on Petfinder. But, now these kittens are happy! They have Mommy and Daddy, Auntie Rachel and Uncle Peter close by! They also have lots of other family that likes to play with them!
