My day at the VetsJanuary 8th 2011 3:39 pm[ Leave A Comment | 28 people already have ] Whew! I made it! Today I had to go to the vets for my yearly check up and shots. I did very good, momcat was very proud of me. I looked so precious on the scale too, momcat placed me on the vets scale and stepped back to read the numbers and she looked down at me and I was just sitting there looking up at her waiting for the news! I lost 2 lbs!!! I had weighed 21 lbs back in February 2010 and now Im 19.8 lbs. The vet was very happy and told momcat to keep me on the prescription diet and to keep up the good work. Momcat had given me a nice bath and fluff dried me and then furminated lots of hair off me for my big day. I had my ears cleaned, nails trimmed and she even chipped off the tarter from my teeth. I look and feel pawsome! My girlfriend Paris would go bonkers if she could just see and smell me now! Woohoo! So now I am home, cuddling with momcat and things are back to normal. No more shots for another year, yeah! Everybody have a great weekend and stay safe and warm. Love, Tate

Good job on the weight loss Tate. Mom is keeping an eye on my weight because I tend to get heavy but I'm 13 point something and Mom is happy as long as I'm not 14 pounds. We would recommend eating some wet food once in a while because kibble doesn't have enough water in it. Boycats can get crystals when they don't get enough water, ouchie. Just my purrsonal opinion. I agree with you though- cuppycakes with frosting: yummmm Im trying to tell my momcat that maybe once a week I can fall off the diet wagon and snitch a cuppycake!
