Has anyone ever tried to eat the Cake Litter Cake? Momcat looked it up on the puter and it was a cake you make and put into a litter pan and use a plastic litter scoop to serve. All clean of course, ewww if not! Then you melt tootsie rolls and put them on the top to look like poo. Momcat is trying to talk me into making it with her, the edible version:) Not my kind of litterpan usage. Im just not sure if anyone will really want to eat it, just by looking at it.....its kinda gross. I say stick with just making regular cuppycakes, you cant go wrong with that. Plus she found a margarita cuppycake that she promised to make me. That sounds better than the cat litter cake. Any thoughts on poo cake out there???????

Tate, you and Momcat stop by our group, Calling All Chefs..we have the recipe and a photo of it on the page..
My Lady has made this messy cake..and it is delish!
Instead of dying cookie crumbs, we used green sprinkles in the 'litter' .
it gets all sorts of comments to!

Eating anything that remotely resembles poo doesn't sound very appealing to us...now that you mention it, cat poo does look a lot like tootsie rolls - MOL! We vote for the margarita cuppycakes - now those sound yummy!

Mom's good friend made a cat litter cake for their Christmas party. It was awesome! She is a sculptor, so it was especially realistic. :) She even made those little divots that happen in the pee clumps. And had melted tootsie rolls smeared on the side too. She said she was going for the two week abandoned litter box look. She is also a great baker so she made sure to make it yummy.

I's think Meowmy might try it!! Me on the other hands would just look at it! Pumpkin would probably tries to poo in it, MOL!!

I think we are going to stick with cuppycakes, the cake litter thing is just too gross. I dont think anyone would eat it and it would be wasting food and time making it. Yeah for cuppycakes!!!!!!
