Life after Thanksgiving

Full Bellies

We had a pawsome Thanksgiving, its so nice to see family that you dont see all the time and just put all your worries to the side and enjoy the day with special people and of course good food. My turkey cuppycakes were a hit, and I managed to keep my hair out of all the cupcakes. Some family members even kept my picture that was on the cupcake home with them as a keepsake. People kept saying how cute and handsome I was, I loved it! Momcat was proud of me too. Now that Thanksgiving is over, we are all set up for Christmas. I helped momcat and dadcat set up all the millions of lights and decorate the house for xmas. It took most of all day but it looks so beautiful. Im sure people in Africa can see our house from there. Its bright! Well, off to play with my catnip and then eat. That is my plan of the day. Bye!! Love, Tate

My momcat made me a very special cuppycake today. I love it! I really am handsome, its almost to cute to eat:) My momcat made my Thanksgiving extra special, everyone is going to laugh when they see it. I bet no one will eat it either cuz Im too cute! Got nip?

Momcat brought home more catnip toys for me to play with and they are pawsome! You would think I would be all nipped out by now, but I still love to bat the toys around and then rub my cute face all over it. I dont know if it was a special kind of nip or not but I licked it till it was all mushy and wet. My sis Tonka smelled the toys and then went and laid back down, she is always tired. I left a nice, wet and mucky toy right on momcats pillow. It stained her pillowcase alittle too but she didnt get mad at me. How can she, Im adorable! Thanksgiving Cuppycakes

I cant wait for Thanksgiving, its almost here:) Momcat and I are going to be making special cuppycakes for that day. Its going to be a vanilla cuppycake with chocolate frosting (lots of it) and then we are going to put a hersey kiss on for the head of the turkey and then use candy corn to make it look like its tail feathers and then sprinkle it with chocolate sprinkles. 1. What color is my collar? I have several but the one I am wearing now has cuppycakes all over it. Their cute little pink cuppycakes but mom says Im manly enough to wear pink.

2. What kind of food do I eat? I mainly only eat Hills Science Diet dry and for my treat mom gives me moist friskies canned food. I only like the oceanfish or salmon kind.

3. What is my favorite treat? I dont get treats, just dry and canned and lots of love.

4. Do you have a Valentine or significant other? Meow! YES!!!! Im a playa, but right now my main love is Flo. She is beautiful and she is a grey kitty like me. I have alot of other girls that think I am handsome and precious and I am big enough to share my love:)

5. Do you get table scraps? No, just dry and canned.

6. What is your favorite toy? Right now its my new catnip cuppycake toy that momcat just got me. I also love my catnip mats to roll on and love to swat around little balls with my big mitts.

7. When is your birthday? I was born on October 15, 2004, and momcat thanks god every day for that:)

8. How many times a day do you eat? I eat all day:) The dry is always full and flowing and momcat gives me canned food in the morning and at nite cuz I give her cute, precious looks.

9. What is my favorite color? I would say green, it brings out my eyes:)

Can you feel the love?

Hi all my furfriends, I am so happy today:) Momcat bought me this kewl cupcake catnip toy and I absolutely love it. I was batting it around with my big mitts and I even carried it in my mouth:) Momcat wasnt quick enough to get a picture of that but there will definately be more pictures coming of me with my cupcake. It was delivered so purrfectly too, it came in a beautiful brown and pink box which was wrapped in a big pink bow. Its almost to pretty to play with. My sister Tonka smelled it and walked away, she doesnt see the joy in catnip cupcakes. She just sleeps all the time, momcat keeps checking to make sure she is still breathing:) I also got another Calvin collar, its Christmas colors so I will be sporting that in the next month or so. Its tough being a fashion statement but I will try to live up to our dear friend Calvin. Momcat says Im gonna need my own closet pretty soon for all my collars, bandannas, and thongs! Calvin, we will miss you:(

We are all sad to hear about our buddy Calvin. He was a trooper and put up such a brave fight to live. Our hearts go out to his family during this difficult time. He was so well loved and cared for and he will be deeply missed. His heart basket is overflowing with hearts because he was so well loved. We were honored to be his friend. Halloween Decor

Woohoo for Halloween!!! We love Halloween here, my family decorates the whole house up, inside and out. We have tons of lights outside and in the windows of ghosts and spooky spiders and pumpkins. I like to lay on the fake leaves while mom is trying to decorate the mantels and stuff. She just smiles at me and will probably run and get the camera to take more pictures of me. Sometimes I like to chew the little haybales that she has for decoration too, but she usually shooes me away from it. Birthdays are tiring!

Hooorayyy! Im 5 today!

Hi all, I am 5 yrs old today:) I woke up super happy and I woke mom up early by batting my jingley balls around and licking her face. She has to work long, crazy hours today but she said she will make it up to me when she gets home. She already let me open one gift, it was more jingle balls to wake her up early in the mornings. Happy Birthday to me!!!!

I am turning the big 5 yrs old today, October 15. My mom adopted me when I was 8 wks old:) My real fur mom was a stray that had a litter near a river and these nice people found us and brought us to the vets to get checked out and make sure we were all ok. We were just tiny babies so the nice people that found us kept us with our mom till we were 8 weeks old and found homes for all my brothers and sisters. They ended up keeping my furmom and having her spayed and keeping her inside so she doesnt get lost again. My mom fell in love with my big feet so she adopted me:) She new I was special right when she first saw me, it was love at first site. I wonder what she is gonna give me for my birthday? I think I smell cupcakes!!!!!!!!!!! Tate

Halloween memories

1. I of course love to help mom decorate the house with all the scary halloween stuff, especially batting around all the little pumpkins.

2. At night its kewl to see all the lights flashing and blinking, it looks so pretty.

3. I should have made this my first one but helping mom make Halloween Cuppiecakes!!!!!!!!!

4.Hissing at all the trick or treaters is fun.

5.The best is after all the candy is passed out and momcat sits on the couch and I can jump up in her lap and chillax with her.

Momcat went nutz

Hi all, just to let you know I had to endure hours of having my photo taken so momcat could put new pictures of me on here. She went nutz over a little bow tie on me. I was starting to fall asleep towards the end of it all. She better make me cupcakes for all the modeling I had to do. I think I might have lost a pound or two even. Whats the scoop? Poop?

My friend Ivan said that if you talk about bodily fluids that you will get chosen for diary pick of the day! We shall see! They only poop story I have is that Tonka has been constipated lately so moms been giving this stuff to help her pass it more smoothly:) And she did, right in the middle of momcats bed! Eewww... I got it on video so momcat knew it was Tonka and not her precious Angel(myself). Thats about it for poop stories. Its Raining Cuppycakes!

Its a nice rainy day out, moms already up doing stuff around the house. Im not sure if I want to get up or just keep chillaxing and dreaming of cuppycakes. Now that I am well fed again, I feel like just lounging around and not even playing with my catnip toys. I dont know what it is about rain but it makes me feel very lazy. Not that Im Mr. Active anyway:) Well, think I'll go back to sleep and dream of my precious cuppycakes. Tater out..............

I was so happy when I saw all the cuppycakes that caster had in their gift area!!! I love cuppycakes! My mom finally went out to the store and bought my favorite canned food so I finally ate something good, other than dry food. Plus she also bought me a laser light:) I ran for a couple times but then ran back to my food dish. Who has time to play when there is food involved. So life is pretty good right now. My friend Annie sent me a steak and my friend Chester sent me a cuppycake to help me get through the day so now I am totally full and feel so loved. Me Needs to Eat!

Ok, moms been working alot of hours this week, yada yada yada. That doesnt mean she cant swing by the store and pick up my favorite food. All I have to eat is dry food and that is so boring. I feel light headed and almost faint. Im gonna be as thin as Tonka pretty soon if she doesnt go to the store. I am going to keep on her till she goes, this isnt right. Feeling Hairy?

Thank you catster! I received my furminator in the mail yesterday and I cant wait to get furminated! I really need it too, I feel very thick and hairy. Mom says its because we are getting our winter coats in and that we are in for alot of snow this year. I only get to look at the snow since Im an indoor kitty. I always watch daddy snowblowing the driveway, its a big driveway so it takes him along time to do. He always looks for me in the window and gives me a wave:) Well, if I get furminated this weekend, I will try to get a picture of all my hair that comes off. Maybe I can sell my hair on ebay!!!!!! G'mornin all

I am totally interested in what is inside those krinkle bags. I woke mom up at 4 am this am cuz I was trying to figure out what is in the bag. I was digging and digging and still couldnt figure out what is in there. Mom kept turning over and trying to sleep but I kept at it. Finally she got up and fed me and then I lost interest in the bag. My sister Tonka could care less about all the toys and the krinkle bag, she just sleeps 24/7. After I feast Im still going try to solve the mystery of what is in that bag. I have the big feet to do it too! I know I cant fit inside the bag so its gonna have to be an outside the bag kinda job. I will have to eat lots of cuppycakes throughout the day to keep my strength up but I will do it. Mom will be proud, that I know:) Well off to my journeys. Have a pawfect day! Love, Tate

Ok...who took my cuppycake

When I went to take a nap this afternoon I had 4 cupcakes, when I woke up and went to check on them, one was gone! I went and asked my sister Tonka if she ate it but she said no and by looking at how thin she is, I believed her. So I went downstairs and glared at the dogs and checked their mouths to see if they had any cupcake crumbs on them but all they had was doggie drool. I searched high and low to try to find my cuppycake and I still cant find it. The only thing I can think of is that I had a dream I was eating one of my cupcakes and Im wondering if I got up a catwalked into the room where I kept the cupcake and ate it in my sleep. ? .Hmmmmm...... I will have to get on the scale tomarrow morning to see if I put on weight, if I did, then I will know that I did eat my own cupcake. G'Mornin

Hello All, While mom and dad and the dogs were on vacation, grammaw and grampaw took care of us. When mom came home she thought I looked thin and that she could even see my ribs! So, she went out and got me some different kind of moist food and guess what? You cant see my ribs anymore:) She normally feeds me friskies moist, usually any seafood kind-thats my favorite. Well she tried something different now and I totally love it. It comes out in a big juicy square and I cant eat it fast enough. My sister Tonka tries to get some but I just put my big head deeper in the dish and dont let her have any. Mom gives her some on the side, but I cant figure out how to eat from 2 bowls at the same time so I let Tonka eat it. So all is well here now, no more ribs showing and I am a well fed happy boy! Vacation is over

Hi all, mom and dad and the dogs are all back from vacation and boy did I miss them. Gramma and grampaw were nice enough to take care of us while they were gone for 2 weeks but I missed my time on the puter. Hope everyone is doing well and have had a great summer. My mom thinks I look alittle thinner, I told her gramma didnt feed me as much as I need:) Its great to have her back home, no one rubs my cheeks and hugs me as good as my mom. Hi all my fur friends, Mom is letting me use the puter before they leave on vacation. Gramma and grampaw will be taking care of me and Tonka and they dont know how to work the puter. Mom and dad are taking the 3 dogs camping for a few weeks in their camper so we have the whole place to ourselves! It's My Birthday!!

Hello Kitties, My big 17th birthday is coming up, I dont feel like I am 17 yrs old, I guess my brother Tate keeps me young. I was just at the vets a few weeks ago for my twice a year check up and everything looks good, even my teeth! The vet was very impressed with how I look, even my coat is still shiny and beautiful. The vet thought I was only 8 yrs old:) I pretty much sleep all day except when Tate wakes me up to play, but then its back to bed. Mommas Kisses

Well, there I was, laying around looking all sad and depressed over worrying about my friend Roland who just had leg surgery and mom saw me and came over to me. She held me and gave me the biggest hug and told me it was gonna be ok and planted some nice kisses on my head:) I felt so much better after, I started purring and when she put me down on the floor, I ran right to my food bowl. Life is good. She told me too that Roland will be ok because his mommie loves him and she will make him all better. Thank god for mom's!! Have a great day and Happy 4th o' July to all my fur friends. Why I Love My Mom.....by Tate

I love my mom for so many reasons but I wanted to share with you why I love her soooo much..... I guess the first and most important reason is that she feeds me:) She loves me for who I am even though I have a slight weight problem. Even though she is busy with work and taking care of the house and all the other animals here she still finds time to cuddle with me and make me feel loved. She keeps me very clean and always brings home neat toys to play with for a day and then forget about it. To see the smile she gives me when I am begging for food by my food dish is priceless. G'morning

If you read my diary yesterday you will see that me and mom spent all day cleaning the house. While we were cleaning all day, my sister Tonka just laid around and slept on the bed. Well, me and mom didnt go to bed till late last night and guess what was on our newly washed comforter? Puke! EEEwwww, and lots of it. So back in the wash it went, we dont know why she has to throw up on freshly washed things but its not fun finding it late at night. Well, my belly is rumbling from starving so I am off to have a nice, filling breakfast.......Have a good day! Tate

I'm Exhausted

I am all tired out! Me and mom woke up to a nice, almost spring day, and that made her go into cleaning mode. I being the helpful man that I am, helped her do all the cleaning. She needs to learn not to put the swifter box where I can get at it, I dont know how many little swifter pads I stole today but I sure made mom run after me alot. The only thing I let her do on her own is the vaccuuming-that she can have. Cleaning the windows was fun, I left lots o' lick marks on them after she was done. My sister Tonka just laid around all day and slept while me and mom did everything. All this cleaning has built up an appetite for me so now I am off to feast. Lots O' snow and low on food

Its been snowing since yesterday and we have alot of snow now, its filling up infront of my window that I look out. Im getting a little nervous because I am running low on food and I heard my mom saying that she wasnt going out in this stuff. I wonder if grocery stores make deliveries? Hopefully the snow stuff will stop and she will journey out to get me more food, I will just have to work on putting on the charm to her. But for now, I will eat and we will just have to see what happens. Lots of things to scratch and chew so I have a busy day ahead of me. My cuteness worked!

Woohooo!!!! Iwas fed my canned food!!! I worked real hard at melting moms heart and making her feel bad that I wasnt being fed my favorite canned food. I would stare into her eyes and lift my big paw alittle and give out the most sadest little cry, and now I can say it worked! Wherever mom was, I was, that was my game plan. Then at night time I tried to keep her awake by playing with my catnip toys or trying to catch the ball in the plastic round thing or just by scratching the carpet. Finally, last night she gave in and I ate and ate and ate. I heard mom talking to dad and she thought I was losing weight, all dad did was grunt so Im not sure if he agreed with mom or not. Either way, I got my canned food again this morning! Its gonna be a good day:) I just wanted to keep all my fur friends posted so no one will worry that I am wasting away to nothin'. I feel faint!

Well, it finally happened:( My mom is listening to what the vet said about my weight and has stopped giving me my favorite canned food. Looks like "09 is not starting out to well. I think the vet scared her alittle with all the problems that could start to go wrong with me. Iwas trying to tell her not to listen to him and that he doesnt know what he is saying, but she didnt hear me. So to get back at my mommie last night, I jumped around her bedroom all nite and played with invisible lights and chewed at her pajama ties that tickled her belly. My favorite thing I did was the incredible 20 lb flying cat jump that I did off the armoir right onto her stomach. Woohoo! That definately woke her up but she still didnt get up and fed me my favorite canned food. For the finale, I threw up the dry food right near her slippers. Still no canned food:( I need lots of support and prayers to get me through this starvation period. I'll keep all my fur friends posted on may weightloss, if there is any. I still think Im just big boned:) Meow for now! Love, unfed Tate

The tag game begins!

My friend Roland tagged me cuz were buddies, so here is a list of what I like in life:

1. I like when my food bowls are full, sometimes I eat so fast I make a mess on the floor and the maid has to clean it up.

2. My favorite thing is to wait until mom is asleep and then get up on top of the armoir near her bed and take a flying leap and land right on her belly! All 20 pounds of me. She never gets mad at me, even after she catches her breath.

3. I allow my sister Tonka to play with all my toys while Im at the food bowl.

4. I love my grammaw and grampaw, they take very good care of me while mom and dad go away on vacation. Grammaw knows how to overflow my bowls real well. Im pretty sure Im her favorite grandson.

5. Besides eating, I actually love having baths and being blown dry. Santa Pawz gave me the Furminator for Xmas and I love it. I cant believe all the hair that comes off me and I just leave it for the maid to clean up. But I feel super after:)

6. My favorite toy is a homemade bow from my mom, I love the krinkle sound they make and love to carry them around in my mouth. They always end up being dumped in my water bowl, I like to see the water change color. Dont worry, the maid is there to clean my water bowl and give me fresh water. I keep her real busy.

7. Final entry before I retire for the evening, I love all my new friends on catster! Especially Roland, George Duggan, Lucy, Piggles, Meow, Kitty, well, the list is endless, but Im glad I have all my new fur friends and I will see ya all around the cat park!
