Arrival Story: UPDATE: WE HAVE BEEN ADOPTED!!!!! Bailey and Bensen's mother, Hot Dog, had been a wild feral cat behind our home for at least five years, the longest of any of the other feral kitties out there. For five years, I have been feeding her and her colony members, and catching them one by one to get them spayed and relocated. Hot Dog finally warmed up to me this past summer, when she was pregnant. Unable to catch her when she was pregnant, I watched her and kept track of when she had her babies. Each day, I would tell her, "Hot Dog, bring me your babies!". I even went on searches for them, but she had them hidden well. Finally, she brought them to me when they were about four weeks old. I looked outside on our porch, and saw two orange butts and one tortie one (their tortie sister, MJ! To make a long story short, by the next day, the kittens AND Hot Dog were resting comfortably in my rescue...

Bio: Bailey and Bensen, along with their sister MJ, who has been adopted, are very healthy kittens. They are playful, snuggly, and have ferocious appetities. They LOVE to get their bellies rubbed, and will actually flip over on their backs for you to rub them. They are a bit shy at first, especially with males (they haven't had much exposure to them), and will hide, but given some patience and lots of toys, they will warm up quickly. Bailey and Bensen have received their initial wellness visit, and their first and second dewormings. Given how bonded these two are, I will only adopt them together to the same family. A small adoption fee does apply. Please consider providing Bailey and Bensen with their forever home!
