About Kobe

My name is Kobe. I'm 9 years old. I will be 10 years old on July 20th 2012. I am a black and white Domestic Shorthair. They also think I have Siamese in me because some of my biological siblings were born white, but developed Siamese coloring later and had blue eyes. I am superior to dogs and don't like them at all, but have learned to tolerate the ones I have to live with. I am the best type of cat to have - low maintenance and sweet. I am perfect, there's nothing really bad to say about me. I am very clean and I love to keep up on my appearance. I absolutely love my mommy. You can ALWAYS find me on her lap or somewhere near her. I am super sweet to the people I know and love to be pet gently. My pet peeves are the dogs sniffing me, being pet on my hindquarters, and being picked up and moved and when the grand-kids are too rough with me. I love to sleep, eat, and sometimes go outside for a stroll around the house. My people used to think I was just a really fat cat weighing in at 20 lbs, but the vet says I am not overweight at all, just big boned and sturdy. She believes that I have European bloodlines. Just like me, the European cats are huge. They had to be big to kill the large rats on the ships back in the day.
