Arrival Story:
We own a Holistic Pet shop and we also are very involved with Pit Bull, & parrot rescue we also rescue any other creatures that find us and need homes. A client of ours told us about a cat that was abandoned when his owners moved, they just left him behind to fend for himself. Steele spent most of the spring and all summer long outside. A group of tenants from the building felt bad for Steele and fed him everyday. When it started to get cold out they thought it would be best to try to find him a home. My husband and I agreed to keep Steele at our store and find him a good home. When Steele arrived it was love at first sight and my husband and I decided to keep him as our store cat. Even though i have asthma and am allergic to cats I have no allergic reaction to Steele unless I touch my face or eyes after petting him. I wipe him down with a damp washcloth twice a day to keep any allergic reactions down to a minimum and it seems to be working beautifully. Steele is an extremely intelligent cat. We have only had him 10 days and he already comes running to me when I call for him. I don't understand how anyone could just leave him behind without a care. Steele is now safe and sound in his forever home with us.
