Today I Turned 3

Today was my 3rd birthday and the 2nd one I spent with meowmy. I have been with meowmy longer than I have been with anyone else. That is kind of scary to think about, but meowmy says I can stay here furever!

This morning, after meowmy sang (ugh) to me, she gave us all the very special Fancy Feast Turkey Florentine. I was the loudest because she just wasn't fast enough. She said, shhhhssh Cally, when you first came to live with us you didn't even like canned food! I just looked at her and said I do now! Meowmy also made sure I got plenty of attention. And when she gave us something new for dinner and I didn't really like it, though everyone else did, she gave me something I liked better! Wow, can it be my birthday every day?

I also made meowmy very, very happy today. When neighbor Robin came over, I didn't run! I even let meowmy pick me up and let neighbor Robin pet me! This, of course, made meowmy give me extra kisses and hugs and I didn't squirm! Meowmy said this was the best birthday present ever! Was it my birthday or hers?

Anyway, I had a very, very good day and I got lots and lots of prezzies from all my furiends here and that made it even more special! I think I like having a furever home.

Update

Meowmy was just reading my page and decided she needed to update it. It is almost my birfday, again, and meowmy says she will make it as special as I am! I have been with meowmy (and the brofurs and sisfur) the longest I have been anywhere in my short (almost 3 years) life and meowmy says I can stay furever!

Lilly-Rose and I have our system. As soon as Lilly-Rose is finished eating on the counter, meowmy moves my bowl up there so I can finish. She is well trained, don't you think? Wouldn't it be nice if we had enough counter space for both of us?

I don't squirm as much when meowmy picks me up and now I'm sleeping on the bed and sometimes Tweety joins me. There's no snuggling, but meowmy is very happy. Chandler Ray still chases me but meowmy is always there to make him stop and then she, sigh, picks me up and snuggles and kisses me. I like being brushed but that little nuisance, Toby, always follows us so meowmy closes the door. I like that a lot, just me and meowmy time!

It's My Birfday!

WOW, today is my birfday, well the one meowmy guessed at anyway. I am 2 years old! I can't imagine. While my life so far hasn't been bad or anything, it has been furry confusing.

I is having a pawty today in The Party Palace and I can't wait. I FINALLY get to eat my cake from Sausage (which I have been salivating over all week!). I know meowmy will be giving me extra treats cause I LUV treats!

I has received some furry nice prezzies too! A party hat from Wanda, Norman, Mama Kitty, Tess, Rupert, Marie, Lilly, Princess, Mitchell, Beckie, Fay, Frankie, Freddit, Nikki, Sunni, Patti, Blackie, Lewis, Bess, Jesse, Rosie, McKinsey, Bob AND a cupcake from Pumkin, yummm. And Catster gave me a 5 paws! Meowmy really has to get it together and get all our pages fancy, don't you think?

I has also made some new furriends which is GREAT!

The weather is going to be furry nice again today, too. It started out a bit cool, but is warming up just the way I like it. Meowmy is going to brush me extra special, which I also LUV.

I luvs Meowmy

Meowmy is ALWAYS picking me up and cleaning my eyes, kissing me, holding me. Whew! Lately, though, I'm letting her to do it more often. I don't always try to get away from her. Sometimes, when she's close, I tell her to pet me. I'm even letting her clip my nails when they get too long!

I likes to flirt with meowmy from the ledge upstairs. I looks down on her and meows loud. Then when she looks up at me, I rub and rub and roll. Meowmy says to be careful I don't fall since I'd fall on her! hehehe That's OK, meowmy is soft and warm, though she'd probably hug and kiss me even more!

And ... meowmy is letting me play all the games. I is sooooo smart. There was one Wheel of Furtone I knew, but meowmy said to let someone else guess it since I'd gotten the last one! Huh, mean, mean meowmy!

Just for Me!

Yay! Meowmy put me in my very own club! I is in Calicos & Tortie Darlings, all by myself. Meowmy says I deserves something just for me!

I has decided that the top of the table is the bestest place to be. I cleaned all the stuffs off it so I could lay on the blankie. Meowmy said that was where Aragorn used to sleep all the time and it was OK that I found it under all the stuffs, even thoughs I made a mess.

Meowmy says she was never a fan uf smushy faces or calicos but I has brought her to the bright side and she says she loves me furry much and I can stays furever if I wants. She even bought me special dishes so it would be easier for me to eat and she knows I likes my water first so she always calls me to be first.

Meowmy was gone all day yesterday and today. She said she had to go to her brother's yesterday and today she had to spend time with her mommy, looking for new cars for grandma. The only thing I knows about cars is that they take me somewhere new and very foreign to me. I'm not sure I want to go in a car again.

I has a boyfriend

I've been caught! Meowmy/Auntie came upstairs this evening and caught me shnuggled up in the unmaid bed along with Tweety. We were trying to keep it a secret, but I guess we've been found out.

Oh well, my Meowmy/Auntie had to figure it out sooner or later!

When I was very little, a man adopted me from Petsmart. He was very nice. I was scared at first, but Daddy kept picking me up and brushing me. I also had two 2-legged brothers and a mom. I loved my Daddy very much. He was home with me all day and we watched TV and read books. I sat in Daddy's lap all the time.

Then one day Daddy was gone. I was very confused and everyone was very sad. I kept asking Mommy where was Daddy? She told me he wasn't coming back. But Mommy and my brothers gave me lots of attention when they were home.

After a few months, Mommy and one of my brothers took me in the car and we went to Aunt Deanna's house. I had never met her before and there were other cats. Aunt Deanna was very nice to me, but it was very scary having those other cats. I hid under the bed. Aunt Deanna made sure I had food and water and she talked to me all the time. She told me it was OK, things would get better and she loved me very much.

It was very boring under the bed so when I came out I would sit in the bedroom window. There were all kinds of people out there to watch, and when Aunt Deanna would look up and see me, she would tell me I was a very pretty.

After a few days, I ventured downstairs under the dining table. Aunt Deanna told me that was a very good place, that Tweety enjoyed his time under there. It took me a couple more days, then I went into the kitchen when Aunt Deanna was putting down the food. My mommy had told Aunt Deanna that I didn't like canned food, but everyone else was eating it so I told Aunt Deanna I wanted some also. It was very, very good. When it is time to eat, I get very anxious and make lots of noise because Aunt Deanna is not fast enough.

My Mommy comes to visit me sometimes, but I ignore her. I like it here now. There is a big window to look out and there are hummingbirds to watch. And Aunt Deanna gives me paper balls to play with. I love to chase the laser pointer around, even if I have to share it with Tweety and Toby. Sometimes other cats come to the patio and Aunt Deanna plays with them. The black one hisses at me, but she hisses at everyone.

When Aunt Deanna brought Toby home, it wasn't very quiet anymore. He sometimes chases me, but I manage to get away just in tme. I like following Aunt Deanna around. She picks me up and kisses me, but I pretend not to like it. She also brushes me and I like that very much.

Aunt Deanna told me that I will be going back to live with my Mommy and brothers soon. I think I will miss Aunt Deanna and the other cats, but it will be nice to be with Mommy again.
