Reflections

Today was a very special day. It is Independence Day and it’s my 17th Meowday too! Meowmy says she can’t believe I’m that same itty bitty 3-week old kitty hehehehe It was a grrrreat day! We got the Fancy Feast Medleys for both breakfast and dinner! And meowmy even relented and gave us lunch :-o Of course I got my morning lap and baba time. Oh, yes, I still have to have my baba hehehehe

And I got a very very special prezzie too! Meowmy let me go outside  Usually only Toby gets to go outside these days because he’s leash trained. Meowmy said she didn’t think I’d go too far but she was right there with me anyway. It was soooooo much fun to chew the plants and eat some grass. Meowmy says she wishes we had some white impatiens since they’ve always been my very favorite to munch on. She keeps planting the seeds but we just keep getting weeds. At least the catnip is growing and we all got some fresh leaves to eat and snuffle on!!

Of course, I had to share my big day with my little bro, Waylon, he turned one today, but Meowmy says it’s good to share and I kinda like the little guy  He’s a lot like Sammy and I sometimes miss my Sammy.

I want to thank all my Catster furiends for all the Meowday wishes and prezzies. It makes me feel good to know I have sooooo many furiends!

Oh, I almost forgot the best part of going outside! I got to find the very bestest place to whiz in the ivy hehehehe

Missing Wy Wy

Today is my big brofur, Wyatt's, crossing day. I was so very little when I came home with meowmy and there was Wyatt! At first he wasn't so very excited to have me around :o I took up a lot of meowmy's time and I think he was jealous. But as I grew up he was very fun to play with. Though I'm purrty sure he never liked sharing meowmy.

I miss all the snuggle times we had and all the baths he gave me. I even miss being bopped on the head when I wanted his food! I miss my Wy Wy mostly because he was the sweetest kitty ever and I know meowmy misses him too.

Turning 15

Tomorrow is July 4th, Independence Day. I will be 15 years old! I have been with my meowmy since I was 3 weeks old, all my life. I am also meowmy's "special" boy, I guess because I was so very, very tiny when I came to live with her.

Meowmy keeps reminding me what a brat I was when I was little. In fact, she says she has never had such a brat! Nearly every day when she came home I would have left her some of my handiwork. I loved to pull her underwear out of the hamper and leave it in the middle of the living room floor. I chewed up her one and only contact case once. Sammy and I loved the toilet paper. I would unravel it and he would chew it. It was fun helping meowmy put on her makeup, especially stealing the brushes. And playing with her hair while she was using the blow dryer!

I was never afraid of water. I jumped on the toilet seat but it was up! I liked to play with the bubbles so much I fell in the bathtub and the kitchen sink. As soon as she let me out of the carrier on the day I was "fixed," I couldn't wait to jump up and play with the light switches.

When we used to go out more, my favorite flowers were the impatiens, especially white. They were the tastiest. Pink was OK, but I prefer white. Meowmy grew lots and lots of them, just for me!

I've slowed down a bit. I like my naps. But I still prefer sleeping on meowmy's head, she makes the bestest pillow. And I still have to have my "babba." I get the zoomies now and again, mostly chasing my sisfur Cally. That's fun, even if meowmy says NO! Meowmy says she's trying to get a video of me playing with the ball in the circle toy, which I like every now and then.

Tomorrow is my 15th birthday and meowmy says I'm going to get special treats. Real chicken! And maybe a few extra treats! I can't wait!

I've Been Tagged! Again!

WOW! I must say, I am VERY popular! I’ve been tagged by 3 furriends! Norman (thanks for the cool sunglasses), Gosmot and Wolfgang Vladimir LePew. So, here goes:

1. I loves to eat (hehehe) as you can tell by my pictures. I’ve been on a “diet” since I was 3, and I STILL HATE IT!
2. When meowmy used to let us out, I managed to get lost 3 times. The first time meowmy found me crying at the wrong door (her couldn’t figure it out eifur since it didn’t look anything like ours), then I cried at Aunt Becky’s door until she opened it and brought me home and then I went into Leonardo’s house and went to sleep on his daddy’s bed (he brought me home, too). Good think efurrybody knew me … hehehe.
3. I am claustrophobic (hard to believe, huh?). I HATE being in the carrier or any other type of cage. When I was a teeny baby, I had to spend the day at the vets wif brofur Wyatt (he was getting “fixed”) and I cried and cried and cried so much they finally let me out to wander around and make furriends.
4. Did I mention that I whine? I can whine for HOURS until meowmy figures out what I want.
5. If meowmy doesn’t break down the pop up tissue box when it’s empty, and I find it, I sticks my head in, every time.
6. I like canned mushrooms!
7. I really, really likes little children and babies. I lets them step on my tail, pull my ears and touch my nose and I never stop purring.

Now, I’m supposed to tag 7 more furriends, but meowmy says Wyatt just tagged 7 furriends and we should give our furriends a break!

COTW in Chatty Cats

Meowmy just told me! I is COTW in Chatty Cats. Probably cuz I is such a chatty cat! I is, sort of, dancing around. Any minute now I is going to break out and play with the ball track toy.

It's been an interesting day. Meowmy finally figured out it was Zito who's been visiting us (he keeps getting in the catnip and eating The Other Bubba's food). Six years ago Zito spent a couple days with us after being rescued from a schoolyard. Then meowmy went and got another kitty and delivered both to Zito's daddy. He had already seen the orange kitty and wuz in wuv with him. Zito and Mulder's daddy is sooooooooooo happy! So am I since they don't live here anymore!

Once meowmy figured out it was Zito, she tooked him his very own fresh catnip, then she gived us all some too! What a gooooood day to be me!

Me n Santa

Meowmy decided to add my baby picture of me wif brofur Wyatt on our very first Christmas ever. I was about 5 months and as you can see, all I really wanted to do was get down and run around. There were lots of people watching (and laughing?) and I wanted to be furriends with all of them! Meowmy says there are way too many of us now. But I had a really fun time. Wyatt wasn't too happy as he never did like anyone 'cept meowmy.

Meowmy finally figured out how to put my video on! Yeah! Don't I look so cute with my babba? Meowmy is soooo proud of herself!

Wally

My meowmy added a picture of Wally so efurray one will know how missed he is. I never got to meet Wally, but he is the kind of furriend I would have wanted.

Please know Wally that my brofurs at the Rainbow Bridge keep telling me all kinds of stories about you.

Big Butt

Meowmy was just reading about the Skinny Butts Club in Olde Furtes and I am very jealous they don't have one for big butts! Lucky for me meowmy has a picture of my big butt. I is a very, very big boy. My sisfur, Lilly-Rose, could be in the Skinny Butts Club 'cause she is skinny all over! Meowmy just posted my big butt. hehehe

Cooler Weather

Meowmy is shaking her head at me. I was just playing with the ball tracker toy and then I was running(?) around! Then I jumped up on the table next to the couch. Meowmy can't figure out what's gotten into me.

I did take a nap after dinner and since Lilly-Rose was sitting on meowmy's lap, Toby came over to jump on me. I didn't like that too much so I had to go somewhere else. Now I can't figure out what I want so I'm sitting on the back of the couch, waiting for meowmy to get off the computer so I can have her lap. It should be my turn again.

She says it must be because it's cooler now. I'm anxiously waiting for the rest of dinner. Meowmy makes me wait so I don't eat too much at one time cuz then it's comes back up. It's a good thing my meowmy luvs me so much!
