Black and White

Playing with Grady, annoying amigo, eating, sleeping and playing.

Water, the scary vacuum monster, being kissed to death by me, being swatted at by Amigo, dogs, me clipping her claws.

Favorite Toy:
Everything that moves.

Favorite Nap Spot:
Beside her big brother Grady, at the window in the sun, beside the fire place.

Favorite Food:
Everything she can get to fit in her mouth, even things she can't. Although, she particulairly likes Benny Bully's Chicken Chops.

She knows how to rip up a treat bag, she's also REALLY smart! She knows the commands: Sit, Down, Paw, High Five, Wave, Sit Pretty, Play dead, Roll over, Spin and Model.

Arrival Story:
One day my family and I were getting home from a nice trip at the cottage, as we were unpacking, my dad told us there was a kitten in the garage! When we found Libby, she was a skinny, scared little kitten. She weighed at 1 pound and was so afraid every time we came into the room she was in, she would run and hide, when we went over to pick her up, she hissed at us because she was so afraid! As an animal lover, it was the saddest sight, but at the same time I was happy, because I knew that one day she would not be afraid , and make a wonderful addition to our house of animals. Eventually, she grew into a healthy, cuddly kitten and could not be happier. One of the CUTEST things she does is whenever I kiss her or pick her up, she does a little grunt! It's so cute! She also walks around and is quite vocal, so she meows and purrs and makes little shrill like bird sounds. I think it's the cutest thing in the world though!

Well. What can I say about Libby? She's a doll! She's very cuddly, but only with me! She's afraid of my family though, I'm not sure why! She's not very active, she just lets me carry her around with me everywhere I go (in the house of course!), when I put her down, she usually just lays down on her side. Sometimes she'll stand up and do little circles around me. She's quite odd. I think she's part Munchkin, because she has short legs, loves to stand on her hind legs, and chirps like a little bird! She's a really special cat, but she's very overweight. She has a vet appointment to check if she has a thyroid problem, so she might need medication. I consider her a semi-special needs cat, as she will probably need medication, and every months I have to give her bath because she doesn't know to groom herself! Poor gal! Well, that's Libby! My special girl!

Hey Catster! Libby here! Sorry I haven't updated in a while, but with March Break here, I can update everyday! I don't know about you, but I am so excited that March Break is here! I get to see my people every day for a whole week! I'm so happy, the only bad thing is that that thing they call "A Dog" is here again, what a bummer! Even worse than a stinky litterbox! Anyways, gotta run! I'll come back to talk to you as soon as something exciting happens!
Meow to you soon! Love, Libby

Hey everyone! Libby here! I have BIG news!!!!
Wanna hear? What am I talking about, of course you wanna hear! My family just took me to the vet for my check up, but guess what they found? My vet, Dr.Thomas I think, said that I'm not actually 5 months. I'm actually 7! Yep, I'm a big girl and I have ALL my adult teeth in! That means when my family found me I was 3 months! The surprising thing about that is that means I was 3 months and 1 pound when they found me. It truly is a miracle that I survived. My family keeps saying that they were the lucky ones.
Oh, and one more thing! I got my spay done!!! YAYYYYYY!!! I don't know what that means, but I'm just SO happy!!!! I got lots of treats and love when I came back. I had to be without my family for a whole 2 days!! It made me very sad, but the ladies at the clinic were very nice. Somebody kept leaving me presents because they liked me so much! I came back with 3 or 4 free gifts! Except my brother Amigo stole my Catnip when I got home. That's okay though, I still love him! Anyways, the ladies said that I was very "attentive" and I was very interested in what they were doing, they liked me SO much they wanted to keep me, but I said that I love my family too much. They understood. Now I'm happy as can be, except there's this thing running around our house chasing me. My big brother Grady said it was a "Dog". He told me about them because he saw them a lot at the "Shelter" he was at. Anyways, got to go, it's my brother's turn now. See you later, love - Libby
