Arrival Story:
I always wanted a cat as a pet. My parents always denied this request. Birds and dogs were fine, but cats were not. So when I moved out of my parent's house at the age of 19, one of the first things I did was adopt myself a kitty. I went out to the house of a "friend of a friend" and Brimm was the first kitten I picked up and he didn't let go. So he chose me. He was a brick of a kitten, too, I'll tell you what. Brimm was the only constant thing in my life for 13 wonderful years, and was always there for me whenever I needed somebody to turn to. I had to have him put to rest on October 1st, 2008 because he had kidney failure. I will always miss him, and I visit his grave in the backyard often.
