Arrival Story:
Andy's the second addition to our latest pet family. He was a potential show cat from a notable Norwegian Forest Cat breeder who never "grew coat." Which was our great fortune 'cuz Andy's the most together cat in the entire family, including us humans. I adopted him on impulse at a CFA cat show in NJ 2 years ago when his breeder was competing and brought along some potential "retirees." Before we got Andy, girl cat #1, Lorelei, another showcat manque, was a little shy and despondent, but once Andy tricked her into thinking she was the boss, Lor was back to her old bad a** tricks again, chasing him everytime I'm not looking and stealing his food. Andy *loves* kibble, where everybody else eats raw, baby, so that's how I know he's from outer space. We engage him intellectually by challenging him to answer why it is the dog gets to go outside and he doesn't.
