Dinner time, snuggling (either w/ her BFF, Ollie or a human), grooming herself or Ollie
Vacuums, sudden movements, to be held when she's not in the mood, snow
That would have to be her pal, Ollie.
Favorite Nap Spot:
In or on top of the recliner with Ollie Boo.
She's not picky, she's on Iams now.
The "Silent Meow". She opens her mouth to meow but nothing comes out. She also specializes in the "Squeaky Meow". Very high-pitched.
My brother and I rented an apartment together to share expenses and he wanted a cat. We went to the Marion County Humane Society and walked around the cat room trying to pick one out. (If you've been to a Humane Society you know how hard this is; you want them all!). I approached a cage marked "Selena" and took her out. She immediately started purring and snuggled up to my chest. I was hooked. I called my bro over and she did the same to him. He concurred. We'd found our girl. While we were waiting to be assisted (fortunately they were very busy that day; always a great thing) we were trying to think of names. Once we were helped, we continued our discussion in front of the volunteer and she suggested "Mia" after Mia Wallace in "Pulp Fiction". We both felt it was perfect. My brother added the "Greedo". I feel it a terrible moniker for such a sweet little girl; I wanted "Louise" for her middle name, but alas, she's his cat. :-)
