indoors Arrival Story: I was working as a reporter and had been sent to do a story at the animal shelter in 1992. As usual, I came home with a cat. The best guess on her age at the time was the "three years" answer they always give for an adult cat of unknown origins. She was then and is now a very timid, almost neurotic cat. When I first brought her home she hid in my closet for three days. But, she's sweet and loving and very much the survivor. Bio: Murphy is a talker. Scratch her ears, she'll talk to you about it.
