Arrival Story:
My boyfriend basically inherited her from his old roommate who got her too young and went away for months without caring for her. She had been mistreated and taken from her mother too early so has impoverished social skills with other cats, but living with my 3 cats she has learned to be a more "normal" cat, and she has come out of her shell a lot, where she used to be extremely skittish. She has also lost all her excess weight and is not longer shaped like a basketball! ;)

LaLa is a little nutty, but adorable and sweet. She looooves to sit in your lap, kneading you and zoning out while being petted. She is OBSESSED with the laser toy or any light (flashlight works too), and is hilarious to watch as her head wiggles around following the light precisely! She has also learned over the last 2+ yrs to play with Da Bird toy and finally just learned to do back flips for it like Pynch, Linus & Biscuit do! She also loves watching the birds out the window and will leap to the top of the screen door to get closer to them! She is also a NINJA when it comes to chasing & catching flies!! ***********NOTE: Our kitties are 100% indoor cats, that sometimes get *fully supervised* trips into the backyard to explore. Growing up we always had cats, but because they were indoor/outdoor cats, none of them ever lived more than a year before disappearing or dying. One of them was hit by a car and LIVED miraculously but needed extensive surgery, and also contracted 2 illnesses outdoors, one that she will have for life. I also now have a dog that will kill cats, and now I have to keep him leashed in my own yard because our neighbor's cats hang out in our yard. PLEASE, it is not worth the risk, keep your cats INSIDE! s-Outside---Turn-Your-Cat-into-an- Indoor-Only-Pet
