i was in high school, having a hard time and being depressed. my brother and his wife asked me to stay the night with them, and the next day while taking me home, they made a detour and ended up at a pet shop (i know i know...shelter cats!! adopt from shelters!!). they told me to pick a kitty! chloe was *tiny*. she was in a terarrium with older kittens. she appeared to be the only one of her litter. the other cats were clamouring for attention and standing on palm-sized chloe. i hauled her out and she cringed on the counter as i fell hard for her! she came home with me that day.
Bio:
she was a hellion of a teenage cat.
she barfed regularly with no apparent health problems.
she moved all over the country with me quite happily.
she tolerated crazy dogs with her typical grace.
she was the best, most beautiful cat ever, hands-down.
she got sick quickly and died of kidney failure at age nine.
i miss her terribly!
