I had been lost for quite a while and was getting very hungry when I saw this
house. There was this small house on the back porch. It sure looked inviting.
And look there was food in a bowl on the porch. Too bad most of it was gone.
I sure am hungry. I am going to jump up on the little house and look in their
window. Oh my there is a man coming to the door. He opened that door up
and I just ran in. There's a big dish of cat food right there by the door. Wow.
I start eating until I can't eat anymore and then I get real tired so I go find a
place to lay down. The couch looks like a good place to lay down. I'm sooo
tired. Well looks like the humans in this house like me, they aren't shooing me
out. The human lady is checking me out to see if I'm okay. I know my bones are
really sticking out. I hope she likes me anyway. My hair is all matted too. I hope
she will help me get some of those burrs out of my long hair. Oh I am so tired.
Gotta get some sleep.
Well that was my first day. The humans let me stay and they looked for my
other people but she couldn't find them, so she and her man said I could stay.
I love it here. There is always food for me and I can sleep anywhere I want.
There are 4 other kitties to play with, but they don't seem like they want to
play with me just yet. They are hissing at me and I am hissing back. I can't
claw them since I don't have any claws, but that cat Sadie and I got into a big
swatting fight (she doesn't have any claws either). We don't really hurt each
other but now we are getting to be friends. The one cat Babu is afraid of me.
I don't know why. I never did anything to him but he runs from me all the
time.
I got in a little trouble the one day cause I left some poopie on the floor in
the bedroom but my human lady just cleaned it up and told me not to do it
again. Well a couple days later I had diarrhea and did it again. She didn't
get mad though, she knew my tummy was upset because someone gave me
too much milk. I got to go the vets and get a shot. I was a big girl and didn't
cry. I kinda liked the vet. He had really big hands.
Well today is thanksgiving and I think I will thank God for my humans that
took me in. I heard them saying they were glad God brought me to them.
