Likes:
Sitting in windows watching everything.

Pet-Peeves:
Anyone petting her when SHE DOESN'T WANT TO BE PETTED. This happend to be most of the time. But the nice thing is that when she wants to be petted, she lets you know and then she luxuriates in it!

Favorite Toy:
A very tiny bell that she carries in her mouth to where ever I am. She lays the bell at my feet so I can throw it across the room. She then goes and gets the bell and brings it back to me so I can throw it again!

Favorite Nap Spot:
My chair. She gets in a huff and goes and lies down in the office if I make her get off the chair.

Favorite Food:
Treats. Forget real food. All she wants is treats.

Skills:
BellaLune, like her sister Zena, makes me laugh and smile a lot.

Arrival Story:
I'd been thinking about getting a kitty for a long time - this was a HUGE step for me as I fear dirt something fierce. The concept of kitty litter in my house and having to deal with 'it' was something I was going to have to get past before I could ever get a cat. After I'd been thinking about it for a year or so, I started seriously thinking about where I could get one. Well, one weekend I was in Portland, OR. visiting my family and I mentioned that I wanted a cat. My younger brother said, "I have one you can have." Imagine my surprise! It was a 12 week old kitten that was the last of a litter that he hadn't been able to give away yet. After dinner, we went straight over to his house and I just fell in love with the little tuxedo-colored cutie. So I promptly went to the local pet store and spent far too much money on pet food, toys, carriers, etc! Anything I thought she might want - well - I bought it! The next step would be the 3 hour trip home the next day. I was a little nervous about this, but she did just fine. No throw up, no accidents, no nothing. I was able to slip my hand in the carrier and stroke her the entire way home. She slept and purred and was very happy. And so was I!

Bio:
The night I decided to relieve my brother of his little kitty, my brother, his girlfriend, my sister, her husband and myself all set around trying to figure out what to name my new kitty. I don't remember all of the names that came up, but after Bella (beautiful)and Luna (moon) came up, I decided to put the two words together and make my own name - BellaLune.
