indoors Arrival Story: My mother was rescued by AnimalLovers when she was pregnant with me and my 3 siblings. A Whiskers volunteer fostered her and us till we were adopted at 4 months old. I was returned back into foster care from a home with 5 small children and 2 dogs who chased me. My new Mommy & Daddy saw me on PetFinder, read my story and thought I would be happy with them. They made an appointment to come visit me and knew right away they wanted to take me home. :) Bio: I'm a very large kitty, which is typical of Maine Coons. Not fat, mind you. My fur is long, soft and warm with almost a little lion's mane. But instead of a roar I have the cutest little miew and sometimes a trill. I love being brushed or petted and then rub the side of my head on one of my toys. Then I flop down on my side and to streatch and purr. I love to look out the big picture window. Wow, I can’t believe I’m 5 years old already! I’ve been gettin’ loads of attention lately. Lots o’ brushin’ and getting to play with my mices and dragon fly. Daddy re-loaded up Crabby with new katnip, so that was loads of fun. Scamper weekend!
I’ve discovered a new trick to amuse myself that I’d been keeping secret. I can open cupboard and cabinet doors! What fun it is to pull them back and reveal secret little hidden areas of the house. They’re almost as fun as my little mices! However, I think my humans are on to my little talent. Nothing can stop me now! - Miew! >^..^<
So I loved chasing that mouse so much that my humans got me a bag of assorted furry little mices for Christmas for me to play with! Yippeee! I’ve been having loads of fun picking them up with my paws and batting them around all over the house. There are grey ones, and black ones, and little white albino ones as well. Lookout for the scampering kitty on the prowl!
