Review: The Furminator

Mom got one of those really expensive Furminator grooming tools. I was not sure about it so she let me sniff it. Then she started brushing me with it and I LOVE it. It gets a TON of dead coat out and I just love being brushed anyway. Mom got so much coat out that she filled up the trash can! It was a small trash can but it seriously looked like she could make another cat.

So the Furminator gets an A+ from me and my Mom! We highly recommend it.

Everything is Shaking!

Ok- I thought the cousins visiting was bad. A couple of days ago- I was very happy and content, taking a nap on Dad and then everything started shaking! It was really scary. I dug my claws into Dad because I was afraid!

Apparently we had a 5.6 quake nearby and that is what caused it. I have felt small quakes but nothing like this! I hope that doesn't happen again any time soon! I like my naps uninterrupted!

The cousins are still here. I no longer hiss at them and have quit stalking them. But now that I want to be friends Willow doesn't want to be my friend. Do you think she is still mad at me for stalking her?

Invasion!!!

My home is invaded- by CATS!!!! It is horrible! Mom says they are my "cousins" but I don't want cousins. I told her to take them back! She won't. Apparently they are going to stay with us for 4 months while their Mom is busy at a special school that she has to do for a promotion at her job.

I can't believe that no one asked *me* if this was ok first.

Christmas 2007

Well Mom is busy with holiday stuff again. I decided to list what I want for Christmas this year. So here is my Christmas wishlist!

1) Laser pointer toys- I love those!
2) polar fleece ribbons on stick
3) catnip mice- love those too
4) kitty grass

I think that is about it. I hope I get lots of goodies!

The Vet

Ok so Mom saw me scratching my ears and shaking my head for a few days and took me to the vet. I TRIED to tell her I didn't need to go- all the way there in fact, but she didn't listen to me. It was awful. The vet stuck this THING in my ear and then some cold wet goop. I guess my ears felt better after and they didn't itch anymore but I still was not happy about the vet. Then after he messed with my ears he said I was FAT! Can you believe that?

So now Mom is cutting back on my wet food daily quota! I just can't believe this! I will try to remember to scratch my ears in the closet from now on.

What I want for Christmas 2005

Ok- Mom just got home. She was house sitting in Sac for almost a week. I am very glad she is back. I like to sleep on her.

So she wants to know what I want for Christmas. I want an Xbox 360. Wouldn't that be cool? I kick butt. The other day, I pwn3d some koreans in Starcraft. I'm so gosu!

So- other than an Xbox 360 which I hear is totally awesome, catnip mice. Another 'stick'. That's about it.

Computer Problems

Mom's computer died. At first I didn't think anything of it since I didn't think it had anything to do with me... until I wanted to make a journal entry on Catster! I couldn't do it without Mom's computer! So I had to use Dad's computer. Mom took a picture of me updating my page and I will have to get that up here soon.

ANTS!!!!

There were ants all over my food. Not where I eat- but where Mom stores my food. She stored it in one of the 'flip-top' style bins... so I have to give a HUGE dewclaws-down review for that style of food storage container. So today Mom went out and bought a new container- a Vittles Vault like she has for the dog's food and she had to get me more cat food. I am happy my food is now safe from ants. Since I like to eat in a crate, the ants seem to be confused by that and have left my food where I eat alone completely.

I really don't like ants in my food. :P

Play with me!

Throw my stick! Throw it now... now now nownownow!!!!! Meeeeeowwww! Yay. .
Stick is thrown! But it wasn't right.... No I am not getting it- you get it and come back and throw it RIGHT.

And you keep saying I am like a dog. Humph!

Healing Power of Cats

Mom broke her toe on her birthday. I knew she was hurt and told her right away I would make her feel better. Now she is on the couch and my job is to cuddle with her a LOT until she gets better. Everyone knows that cat purring helps healing right? So I am helping Mom get better quicker! It's my job and I take it seriously. :)
