Arrival Story:
Baby is yet another of Annabelle's sons. Born while his mama was laying in my lap, he's got a special place in my heart. The runt, we weren't sure if he would survive, but he did. Unfortunately, at 2 1/2 months old, there was a very tragic accident in which an automatic garage door shut on poor Baby. In a coma for 3 days, we were sure he would have to be euthanized, but he was a fighter. Today Baby is known to the staff that worked so hard to save him as a miracle. Though the accident left him blind and with some motor impairment, you can't tell by looking at him. He runs around and plays like any other cat.

Unfortunately Baby had to be rehomed when I moved back in with my parents. All of the cats have to be outdoors due to my mom's allergies and my brother's athsma, and it just wasn't safe for little Baby. He found a home with a lovely older woman who'd had blind cats previously. She sends us cards from time to time.
