Arrival Story:
My beloved cat Sophie went missing in mid July2008, I searched furiously and never found her. Nearing deep depression, I decided a new kitten would at least lift my spirits. I searched the internet for a while and didn't find one I "clicked" with right until I came unto a listing for a litter of half-purebred persian kittens. The instant I saw Cleo, I knew she was my new best friend! I drove about 130 or more miles to get her and ended up taking both Her and her bigger sister Chloe. They were being kept in a rabbit cage in a disgruntled breeders backyard during the heat of summer! How sad! I wished I could have taken them all! I named both sisters before I left the driveway there, so now the family consists of Leo, Cleo, and Chloe.

Bio:
Cleo is the independent one. She has large, alluring blue eyes which make her look irresistibly innocent. Cleo prefers lounging by herself, not cuddling or socializing as much as the others. She does more than 1/2 of her play and exploring solo. She seeks out her own activities but occasionally enjoys hanging out with the others. Cleo is not a cuddly or affectionate cat usually, but every once in a while she'll have a cuddle-fit for me while I'm busy at the computer. Every time I reach to pet her or pick her up she lets out a little "Mew!", though she were saying "huh?? oh, hello!"... so cute. Unlike the boldly affectionate Chloe, Cleo takes a more reserved approach to intimacy. She'd rather snuggle up near you or on a seat by you then to hop on top of you', she considers that too pretentious. When she's feeling particularly bold, she will gracefully trot the ledge of your chair back then put her front paws on your shoulder to gently "mew" at you and try to perch on your shoulder! She's more of a docile & solitary cat, which I attribute to her Persian mother (I've heard Persians referred to as "prozac pets" lol). She has a pleasant hint of the Persian face and smooth medium-length hair. I have no idea how to properly define her coloring: She's primarily white with faint lilac-cream colored patches on her body and a black on her tail, ears, and over her left eye. Her mother is a registered calico Persian and her father is a whitish colorpoint Siamese. If she were a human, I'd describe her as "stuck up", reserved, privately very playful, independent, adventurous, easy going, and soft spoken. She enjoys snuggling in a pile of laundry, the top of the closet, or nearby her mom.
