Rearranging the Foster Room Page!

Hello Catster-Land!

Alas, we are currently not fostering any new kittens. But seeing how it was such great fun, I thought I'd rearrange the photos on this page to look at some of my other favorite foster friends... Teddy was our last foster kitty, and as I change around the page his photos are not going anywhere far! They're just in the catster plus photo book.

And as I fix the profile information, I'll be removing his story of how he came to live with us. So here it is preserved for all his fans:

Story of Teddy: Teddy came to Critter Harbor from another shelter's euthanasia list. Before then he was a surrendered house cat. He is half bengal, and probably named for his teddy bear like interest in being cuddled. He has a classic bengal profile, spotted pattern, and lovely conversation skills. From his tabby cat parent, he has inherited a rich orange coloration, loud purr and kneading talents, and a love of being cuddled. He is a sweet sweet boy and rare treasure.

Thanks every kitty! And I hope these photos encourage you to get involved with your local pet rescue/shelter. It's a rewarding, awesome experience.

Update From Foster Mom: Teddy Doing Great!

Hello Kitties! I ran into Teddy's Mom and she said that he is doing wonderful at his new home. He has a sister bengal cat and a dog that he's running around the house playing with. And as to her son's allergies: nada! Apparently he can kiss, cuddle, and even sleep in the same bed as Teddy, and not get an allergy attack! So he's fitting in and doing great. Yayy, Teddy!

Update From Foster Mum: Berg Has a Home!

I'm pleased to announce that Berg, the temperary foster kitten already has a home! He'll be heading home tuesday to a wonderful forever home. They apparently visited and interviewed many of our rescue group's fosters as well as other cats in other groups... And in all their travels; little purring Berg stood out as the one and only cat for them! So congratulations Berg, I won't be home in time to see you off (Foster Dad is there, though.) but have a very Happy New Year! Purrs!
