Caspian;Saying Good-Bye

On February6,2012 I said good night to Caspian, I stroked his beautiful lush fur and admired what a beautiful cat he was. I told him what a good boy he was and how pretty.He purred and held my hand. I awoke around 6am on the seventh. Caspian was sprawled on the rug.I went to the kitchen to get the catfood for the cats.I noticed they were all there except Caspian.I called,but he didn't move. I went over to him,stroked him,but their was no response.He was still warm as I picked up his lifeless body and began to cry.I could not believe he was gone.He was fine the night before,there seemed to be no signs of trouble.The vet said it was most likely an aneurysm.The silent killer.Caspian was gone.

2. Mother Earth, we return to you
the body of one of your children.
Her spirit will return to her ancestors,
and she will continue to live in our memories.
We are thankful that we were able
to share our lives with her,
and give her to your loving arms.

Noble, regal, honorable cat.
Watch over her, and guide her on her way
to the spirit world.
May she be blessed in your names,
and hunt ever after beside you.

HAPPY SAMHAIN

My family and I would like to wish everyone a Happy Samhain/Halloween! Samhain is the Celtic New Year celebrated by many Pagan people.

HAPPY 4TH of JULY!

My family and I wish you all a Happy 4th of July! Remember to keep all the animal companions safe. Perhaps a quiet room away from all the commotion,and watch the doors we may run in fear of the noise.
My mom and human family will be going downtown to watch the fireworks. She'll have lots of photos to show us! Enjoy,be safe.

Holidays

Hi,I'm Caspian. I love the holidays. Our mom brings us special treats and puts a tree up just for us. We get to sleep under the tree and play with the shiny balls......we have to be careful not to knock them off though. Mom bought a big stocking this year,we must have been really good. It was filled with catnip mice,jingle balls,and treats! And it was just for us! Mom lit a candle for Ms. Kittie as she no longer with us but we need to remember her and thank Bastet for looking after her for us.
Mom said we were very good babies this year. We didn't knock down the tree and only one of those shiny balls was batted off the branch and chased around the house. Oops.....Mom loves us,no matter what. She's a good mom.
