On a pillow or in a basket bed. I recently took over Rio's nap spot. He was right. It's a good place to sleep.

She adopted me at the Humane Society.
I had gone to see another cat, but she planted herself in my lap, thankyouverymuch. "I will be your cat now." I had no choice in the matter, and her purrs and head butts warmed my heart.
Bio:
She is pure love! And such a face!
As you can see, she is a true Lady. She has excellent manners and the sweetest little sing-song meow I've ever heard. She LOVES it when I sing, and wants to be held while I sing to her.
Samantha has very thick fur, and in the summertime she loves to be shaved nekkid! It's much cooler for her, and she doesn't get those pesky hairballs, either. We let her hair grow back in the winter to keep her warm. I was worried that she wouldn't like having a "haircut," but she really did love it, and loved being petted on her bare skin. It's probably not something every cat would like, but she does. This girl does not mind getting a bath, and also lets me blow-dry her fur (on low, of course, so as not to burn her skin!). She has no fear of machine noises, like vaccuums or coffee grinders, either.
Samantha likes to nap on PILLOWS. This is very important, and she will cast great lo0ks of disdain at me if she wishes to jump up on my lap and there is not a fluffy pillow waiting for her. Can you say spoiled?! LOL! She even has her own special pillow on my bed, and that is where she prefers to sleep at night. After all, she is the Queen of the house!

Hi, my Princess Buttercup!
You are so precious to me. Ever since we met at the animal shelter, I have known that you are an extra special kitty cat.
You have the sweetest personality and you are so loving. I treasure every moment I get to spend with you.
I am sorry you have not been feeling well! I wish there was some way I could make you feel better faster! I hope you understand that the medicine I give you is to help you get well- I am not trying to torture you, honey! I just want you to feel better. I am so sorry when you go through a rough time feeling sick.
Thank you for loving me, talking with me, singing with me and for lavishing attention on me. Sometimes I have to shoo you off my lap, but it's only because there are things that I have to do- it's never because I don't like you giving me attention! You are so pretty and soft, I am lucky that you like my lap so much!
I love snuggling with you at bedtime, too. Remember, I don't always like it when you pat me on the face to wake me up just as I doze off, in hopes that I will keep petting you. hee hee. Humans need sleep, too. But, I think we understand each other most of the time.
I love you very, very much and hope you are a happy girl.

Lately, I have been hanging out in the bathtub while my Mom gets ready in the morning. I meow and scratch at the shower door until she opens it, then I sit in the tub and sing songs to her. HELLO- HINT, HINT- I want a bath!!
Mom says she will get to it soon, but then last night I caught HER in the bath! She was soaking in bubbles, so I sat on the Great Porcelain Throne and sang "Amazing Grace" with her. I was very curious about those bubbles, and I leaned over the tub to check them out- but I wasn't QUITE ready to jump in. It sure was interesting, though. Maybe I'll get my own bath soon!!

Last night I jumped up onto my favorite perch to have a nap. Rio was already sleeping there! I assumed that he would see me and jump down, but he just rolled over and made room. Hmmmm. I thought, I suppose I could stand to sleep next to a BOY, this ONCE. So, I started to lay down by him, but then he swatted at me! Wel, I tolerate none of that in MY home! So, I smacked him. He got the message and jumped down, and I curled up for a nap. He's a good kitty, but sometimes ya gotta show 'em who's da boss. Mom wasn't too happy with us for squabbling, though. Oops.
