Big news...!

Hi all.

Hope everyone's doing good. I've got some big news to share, we're moving. And not just moving to another house/flat, no moving to another country! Mette-the-human has got a job (not sure I'm that happy, that means she won't be home most of the day like she's been for the last couple of years now...) in a city called Belfast. She's shown me a map, it's on an island called Ireland. Mette-the-human is very excited about it all and has promised that we will be very spoiled when she has started earning money to spoil us for... Today we've been to the vet to get two different kinds of shots, one so we're up to date on our regular shots, and one we needed to get the passports. It was really quick and all okay. It wasn't much fun to drive to the vet but apart from that I think it was okay.
I hope we move to a nice house, with more space than here and Mette-the-human says we might move somewhere with a nice garden we can explore, and at least we'll still be together, all three of us so it's going to be okay.

I will let you know what I think of travelling and how it's all going to be during the next month or so, we still don't know exactly when we're going...

News from the city...

Hi all.

Just wanted to let you know that I'm still here and that everythings good. Lilly and me have joined a new group, Pen Paws, and that means we've got loads of beutiful cards for Valentine's Day, more than our Mette (she didn't get any...!). I haven't got much news to tell you, life here in the city is very much the same. our Mette has been talking about moving, but not right now, maybe later this year or the begining of the next one, somewhere that might be a little bit bigger than here and maybe somwhere we can be alowed to go outside... But so far it's lot's of toys to chase around (if not each other) and looking out the windows at the birds...
And this year we're not getting a summer cat, our Mette is going away for a week in the summer... She says she'll miss us very much, she's never been away from us for that long before, and our "aunty" (she's our Mettes best firend) will look after us for that week. She's really nice, she plays with us when she's given us our food. She came and looked after us for a long weekend around our Mettes birthday in January, our Mette went to a place called London with our aunty Laila for the weekend. I promise to let you all know how it went whenever it has happend, I think it's still a long time till summer, it's still cold around here...

Right, I'd better get back to cuddling with Lilly on Mettes bed.

I'm back...

Hi all.

It's been almost a year since my last diary-entry, it's just been busy since then. Musias visit was okay, she hissed a lot and didn't seem to like Lilly and me that much. Just before she went home again it was possible to be near her without any hissing but we never got to be close friends. She'd got some really nice food though and I gained a bit of weight while she was here because I was eating some of it...
Just before she went back home Mettes dad was really ill and went to the hospital for a few days. He's fine now but not allowed to drive a car untill december so Mettes doing all the driving for them and goes to see her mum and dad about once a week, leaving Lilly and me on our own. We're getting used to it and it's better than having a human that works all day and never seems to be home with their cat(s).
Not much happens here, but at leeast it's getting warmer and the windows can be a little open now so we can smell all the things happening outside, and hear the birds... I love this time of year. :)
Hope you're all doing fine, I am. And I've lost some of the weight I gained last summer. Well, I'd better let Mette get back to the computer now.

Summerholiday...

Hi.

So Mette's told us that she's not going anywhere this summer, that means a long lovely summer without being alone or going anywhere, that's something to look forward to. She then told us that we'll be looking after our rusian cusin (Musia) for 3 weeks. I'm not sure I like it, another "girly-cat". She's a few months older than Lilly, so a bit over a year... I think the only thing I've got in common with her (apart from being a cat) is that she's grown up without her mummy too... Well, I've already said I don't like it and my response was to pee in one of the unpacked boxes Mettes got in the livingroom... I chose the one with the plastic showercurtain hoping to as little damage as possible but some went past it and Mette was NOT happy... Aparently I'd done most damage to her insurancepapers and a table cloth she's inherited from her grandmother... Oh well, she can wait till the little cat turns up and see how I behave then... She could at least have asked us before agreeing... Have any of you ever tried looking after another kitty for a while...? And are any of you going anywhere interesting this summer...? Does any of you want me to come along, I'm not sure I like being the only male in a house of 4, even if it is just for a couple of weeks...

My cat-mum...

I forgot to tell you some important news (almost as important as the move...). While we stayed at the house were Mettes parents live Mette went to a jewllery-home-party-thingy at the farm I was born and lived for the first months of my life. The woman at the house (my first human-mum) told her that my cat-mum is alive and I have a little sister! She thought my mum was dead and that was why my siblings and me were left but when she saw a photo of me after I'd grown up there was no doubt that this cat must be my mum, we've got exactly the same look on our face. She's a small/normal sized cat, and so is my sister. Mette was very exited when she told me that my cat-mums alive and that she'd seen her, but I've never known her, she left me when I was a tiny baby-cat and I think of Mette as my mum and Lilly as my sister so I'm happy it all turned out the way it did.
Just rememberd and needed to let you all know.

New home... Again...

Hello all of you.

Hope you're all doing great.
Been away for a while. Mette (my human), Lilly (the kitten that I actually like...) and me had moved to a very cold house with lots of snow outside... We had the worst winter in 23 or 24 years and Mette said she couldn't remember anything like it. There were loads and loads of snow outside, the house was ment to use in the summer so it wasn't very warm, but we snuggled up on the sofa and all was fine. Mette was working for quite a long time most days so Lilly and me were having fun, and sleeping in Mettes bed, on our own. Then she didn't have to work anymore and we moved to the house where her parents live. That's about 2 weeks ago and last night Mettes sister came and picked us up along with the things in the room we stayed in and took us (all 3 of us) to a new home. We've spent a lot of time exploring and Mette keeps talking about unpacking and sorting out. We now live in the city, there's cars and people outside that we can sit in the windows and look at. It smells a bit funny but we'll get used to it soon. So now that I'm a city-kitty I hope to get to the computer a bit more often and tell you all about our new life.

All alone...

Hi.

Some of you might know a bit about what's been going on here today but for those of you who don't I'll tell you...
Last night after we'd had our dinner Mette removed all the food and we only had water, and then she found the little, old carrier... I was a bit worried, I vaguely remember having tried something like this before... When I was little and we lived at the other place... What was going on...? Well not much more last night... This morning Mette got up really early and didn't give us any breakfeast...!!! Then she put the carrier on the bed and Lilly went in to explore and Mette closed the door behind her... She then took Lilly with her when she left...! It was kind of strange to be all alone in this new house, I haven't been on my own in a long time now, not since Lilly moved in and not in this house at all...
After some time, when it was getting light outside Mette came back, without Lilly...! She had food with her and gave me my breakfeast before she left for work... So all day I've been alone... I've been thinking about what's been going on, where had she taken Lilly...? Was Lilly not coming back...? Wouldn't Mette seem more upset if Lilly wasn't coming back...? Again I remembered being taken somewhere when I was little, sleeping for a while and then waking up feeling very tired and sore in my tail-area and then coming back home. Maybe the same thing was happening to Lilly...?
When it was the usual time for Mette to return she came back, and she had Lilly with her. Lilly smelled a bit different and when she came out of the carrier she walked a little funny... We had a bit to eat and now all 3 of us are relaxing on the sofa, I'm happy they're both back with me. :)
Lilly's got green ears and has got some strange string on her belly... Don't think they've done the same to her as they did to me, but then again, she's a girly-cat so maybe they had to do it differently...?

Apart from that I cen tell you that we've still got loads of snow, outside, and it's kinf of cold indoors here as well, but the new house is great, there's so much space to chase Lilly around... And Mette seem really happy here. Yesterday "Bedste" and "Bedstefar", our uncle (Mettes brother), aunty and one of our human cusins came to visit because it was Mettes birthday during the week, and today our aunt (Mettes sister), uncle and two other human cusins comes to visit and stay till tomorrow. So right now it's kind of busy here but we're all doing great here.

Changes...

Hi Everyone...

First of all I hope you're all well and had a lovely christmas and got safely into the new year.
Lilly, Mette and me stayed with "Bedste" and "Bedstefar" for a bit more than a week, actually we just got home yesterday. And home is now somewhere else than it used to be... While I'm writing this I'm lying on the smaller of the 2 sofas watching Mette lying on the other one and Lilly who I've no idea what she's doing. The fire-heating-thingy is on and everything is really peacefull at the moment. The best thing about this new home is that it's bigger than the old one, so we've got lots of space to run around and play... :)
The bad thing is that Mette's not home as much as she was before... But she says she's got mondays off (exept today) so maybe we'll see her almost as much as before...? But Mette seems happy and that's the most important thing, and at least there's 2 of us here when she's not, I'm not sure I would've been happy to have been left all alone here...
And all the furniture and stuff is something that belongs to the people who've got this little house, the only familiar thing is the cat beds and the tree... And all the other cat-things...
Anyway, I hope you're all doing well.

It's christmas...!!!

Hi everyone.

I've been so busy lately that I haven't had time to keep my diary updated...!
It's now the 23rd of december and Mettes huge suitcase is packed and the cat-carrier is ready on her bed, we're all going to "bedste" and "bedstefars" for christmas in about 20mins... There's snow outside and the sun's shinig making it all look beutifull when you look out of the window. Mette says it's very "christmasy" and she seems really happy, specially after it was decided yesterday that we're coming with her... :)

Well I really just wanted to thank all of you for all the lovely things you've sent me and hope you all have a lovely christmas-time and a very happy begining of the new year. I'll try to keep my diary a bit more updated next year.
