Arrival Story:
He was a stray kitten I took in after several of my neighbors had noticed him living under some bushes. I had planned to find him a good home, but instead I fell in love with him. Plus, my Bengal loved him as a playmate, so we kept him. I cleaned him up, got him his shots and had him neutered. He makes a much better cat than he did a bush.
Bio:
He has a beautiful "flame point" coat. He is such a handsome guy. We are so lucky he came into our lives. Every morning he greets me with little trills and coos and wants to be petted first thing when I get up. He doesn't like strangers, but he sure loves his human Momma!
About his engineering skills...
He makes little hideouts by pushing, dragging, and chewing boxes and whatever else he can move around the house. Then he hides in them and jumps out at his buddies. He also covers his food with anything handy- socks, paper, etc. If he does not like where a blanket or pillow is, he drags it somewhere else! What a funny guy!
I fully expect to come home from work one day and find that he has rearranged the living room furniture. LOL!!

My Little Man,
I feel so lucky that you let me find you as a tiny stray kitten and take you in. I am so sorry you had a rough start in life, and I hope you are happy now!!
Are you happy? Is there anything you need or want? Just say the word, and if it's within my power I will give it to you!
Why do you hiss and swat at Jasper? I wish you would be nicer to him. He is a good boy and never picks on you. Please don't be such a bully to him.
Aside from that, I love it when you come greet me first thing in the morning and when I come home from work. You are such a doll when you meow at me for a back scratch. You are such a darling boy. I am so happy to have you in my life.

This past weekend, my Mom's mother (I call her Oma) came to visit. I'm pretty sure she came to see ME, because she said hello and scratched my back. Oooooh, it felt good. Mom was surprised that I let Oma pet me, because usually I don't let ANYONE but Mom pet me. But hey- I remember Oma from when she stayed with us last summer for a few days. And I was brave enough to let her scritch me this weekend, too! See? Once a person shows me they are nice, I can learn to trust them!

Hmmf! Last night Samantha jumped up onto my favorite cat perch for a nap. Well, I was already in it! You know, come to think of it, I've seen her sleeping in that perch a lot lately. Well, I wasn't backing down, so I just rolled over. But she SAT there, staring at me. I know she's the Boss Cat in the house, but I was having a nap, for heaven's sake! After a couple of minutes, she started to lay down next to me. The nerve! So I swatted at her, but she hissed and smacked me upside the head. I jumped down- no sense having a big tiff over it. But, I looked at my Momma and meowed- "See what Samantha did?"
Momma petted me and told me that Christmas will be here soon, and she knows that Samantha has been taking over my favorite perch. She said to stay cool for a few more days....then wait and see what Santa Claws brings. Hmmm....I wonder....!
