Arrival Story:
We adopted Eva from a local rescue run by a friend. We had also just rescued our feral kitty, Tabitha, a short time before and she needed a playmate close to her own age. Eva stole my heart and come home with us to stay.

Bio:
Both her rescuer and I believe that Eva had been abused. You could sense that she really wanted to trust, but was afraid. At the age of approximately 18 months, she had already been in a home, a shelter and foster care. Eva would bite and scratch as a defense against being rejected. Well, I'm glad I saw through her fears as she has turned out to be a very loving lap cat. Eva crossed the Rainbow Bridge on November 6, 2007. She died from an undetermined neurological illness and is now resting with our other angels in my mother's back yard.
