Kashmere Celebrates Her 6th Month Annifursary In Heaven!

I would like to take this special moment to let everyone know that today marks the 6th month Annifursary since our beloved sister, KASHMERE* made her journey into Heaven. Mom has a candle lit to let her know that we're thinking of her and love & miss her purrry much *wipes eyes* It has been a purrry difficult 6 months fur all of us but we know that she's in a wonderful place with her beloved brother, Angel Picasso. Mom always says that time may help heal the heart but it will never take away the pain that we endure when losing a pet, as they are a member of the family...

This morning, meowmy had to be in work at 7:30 am - 12:30, which is purry early fur her. Dad had to leave fur his work at 4:15 am so it was a bit too early to feed us breakfast at that time. Mom fed us as soon as she got up at 5:45 am. We also get dinner at 5:00 pm along with an evening snackie between 10:00-10:30 pm. This isn't to mention that 3 bowls of dry is also out fur us to eat at all times.

Well, first of all, I would like to meow how beautiful the weather was today, especially fur being the month of October. Before mom left fur work, she opened the windows, knowing that it would be getting warmer. As soon as she came home, there we were, hogging the windows and enjoying the fresh springlike weather... We heard mom talking was she was coming into the home, but we had no idea to who she was conversing with??? OMC... you'll never believe who she was talking to *giggles* Are you ready fur this one? Mom was actually talking to the ladybugs that were sitting on the glass Storm Door. The sudden weather change brought out so many cute little ladybuggies and mom just loves those as well as purrty butterflies. I wonder if the ladybugs answered her back *shakes head* She hopes to see them again, tomorrow...

Tomorrow is mom's off day so she'll be spending the day doing laundry, cleaning the hardwood floors and of course, taking us out fur a stroll except fur Cocoa since he hates the stroller with a passion!

Auntie Sam & Unkie Dan Came To Visit With Us Today!

This morning, meowmy got up early because Auntie Sam & Unkie Dan (*BOOGERS & CO'S* pawrents) would be arriving by 9:00 am. The weather was miserable with cold rain which it's been like this fur days now.

Well, at exactly 9:00 am, Auntie & Unkie arrived and mom was so excited to see them. Unfortunately, daddy was called into work last minute but was home by 3:00 pm. Meowmy made Melita Hazelnut Cream Coffee and then Auntie and mom exchanged pawkages. There was a blue bag which consisted of gifties fur us and fur meowmy so now let me tell you all about those. We received Temptation Treats, Cat Dancer toy, PetStages (feather buddy), WhiskersCity (blue kitty face feeding dish), Carpet Clawz hanging catnip scratcher, and 1 can of Proplan (salmon) and 1 can of FF Medleys (shredded white meat). Mom received a beautiful keyring by Little Gifts which has 5 cute hanging charms on it starting with a cat (looks like Boogers), "I Love Cats", milk bottle, fish bones & paw print. Mom will be keeping it fur her special keepsake. We love all of our pawsome pressies and thank Auntie & Unkie from the bottom of our hearts.

Now back to our fun and exciting afternoon. Mom, Auntie & Unkie spent the day chatting and playing with all of us until daddy came home from work. I was with everyone all day and a few times, My daddy, Monte became purrry jealous with Cocoa because he wanted her all to himself so he became possessive and swatted at Cocoa with a nasty hiss. Of course, mom had a little talk with him but that didn't help because he did it again not long after that.

Daddy came home by 3:00 pm, took a shower and treated everyone to a late lunch at Tony Lukes. Even Unkie Dennis stopped by to join us. Mom, daddy & Auntie had Roast beef sandwiches, Unkie Dan had Chicken Parmesan and Unkie Dennis had Roast Pork and everything was delicious as always. After eating, everyone came back to the home except fur Dennis since he had already made plans. Auntie spent about another half hour playing with us and then they had to head back home to Virginia *wipes eyes*

Auntie still has her eye on catnapping our Snowmitts but now I think Biscotti's on the list, too. She was impressed with how large I am and of course, how friendly Monte is. Biscotti also enjoyed her company just as we all did... Mom is planning on making a yummmy Turkey dinner in December and hopes to have Auntie, Unkie and Tiskers over fur the evening. Snowmitts would LOVE to see Tiskers again, especially since they look so much alike! As we all know, Auntie couldn't get enough of Snowmitts and had a great time playing with me as well. Unkie Dan was tired from the drive so he took little naps throughout the day while settled on our comfy chair, waiting fur daddy *giggles* I kept insisting that Auntie play with me and yup, she did...

Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend... As fur here in New Jersey, the weather isn't too enjoyable. Thanks again Auntie & Unkie fur everything but especially fur spending the day with us. Oh, I furgot to mention that mom showed Auntie The Urns of Picasso & Kashmere and Auntie thought they were so beautiful, especially with the keepsake mousies and locks of fur inside next to their cloth wrapped ashes.

By the way, this is the purrry first time that my Auntie & Unkie got to meet me and wow, I am so honored to be such an important part of their life *blows kisses* I am also the half bro of PorkChop!

My Cardiology Appointment Update!

Today at 5:20 pm, meowmy and daddy took me to see my Cardiologist, Dr. Miller. He is also the Cardiologist of Picasso & Cocoa. I was crying on my way there but as soon as we arrived, I settled in. Mom took me out of the carrier and there I was, giving her mashed potatoes with my paws *giggles* There were several people ahead of us to see Doc Miller so we had to wait longer before being seen. The Vet Tech came over to ask mom some questions while I was sitting on the waiting bench next to her. The nice girl bent down and gave me a kissie on my nose. I looked at her with my big blue eyes and she just melted. After all, I am a handsome guy.

It was then my turn so mom carried me into the room along with daddy. Dr Miller remember mom from her visits with Picasso and he was purrry sorry to hear about Picasso's passing in December. Doc proceeded to rub my chest with some blue sticky stuff and turned out the lights. At first I thought it was night night time but I was wrong. He then explained everything with my Ultrasound and my diagnosis is having a moderate Heart Murmor as well as mild Cardiomyopathy (HCM). There were NO signs of heart failure or anything like that. Actually, Doc felt reassured about my prognosis while taking 1/4 Atenolol daily. Daddy helped hold my paws along with the Vet tech while doing the test. Then the lights came on they cleaned me up and and proceeded to placed these horrible clips on my paws. I began to meow so meowmy and daddy told me that it's ok in a soft and soothing voice. This pawticular test was the EKG. Finally it was time to leave but before doing so, mom asked Doc of she could please take a picture of us and of course, he said yes with a big smile. The Vet Tech then handed me to him so that mom could take a quick picture. Doc than came over to take a look at the picture and smiled and said "thank You." How nice was that... Mom will be keeping an eye on my breathing pattern just as she does with Cocoa.

Just before we were getting ready to leave (waiting fur the paper work and prescription, the Tech needed to get my weight and holy cow, I gained 1/2 pound since my visit with Dr. Wray two weeks ago. Looks like I'm going to be a big boy. Over all, my appointment went well, considering that it could have been much worse. Doc Miller did say that since we caught it at such an early stage, there is a pawsibility that it can even improve (walls become thinner) which is excellent news. Mom had no idea what to expect, especially after what she had to endure with Picasso having VERY severe Cardiomyopathy at the age of 6 months and unfortunately, his continued to worsen. Doc did say that 16% of ALL cats are diagnosed with Cardiomyopathy. There are some breeds such as the Ragdoll & Maine Coon who more prevalent to this disease, but other breeds, including the Domestics will have it.

By the time we left the office, it was about 6:30 pm. Mom made a yummy Pot Roast fur dinner (simmering in the Crock Pot) so we had some of that along with our regular kitty food. Thanks again fur all of your love, support, purrrs & purrayers and fur always being there fur us. You are all such pawsome furiends and my family and I love you so much *blows kisses* I will be going back fur a recheck in 6-12 months to see if the medicine has helped to reverse the thickness of the heart wall.

It has been a long day fur all of us so I think I'll now take a long nap and rest up fur playtime, tomorrow...

My Cardiology Appointment Is Tomorrow!

Tomorrow at 5:20 pm, I will be going to the Cardiologist (same as Picasso's & Cocoa's) for an Ultrasound to see what is going on with my heart. Mom is so scared right now but is doing her best to try and think positive... As some of you may know, Dr. Wray found a Heart Murmur 2 weeks ago so my pawrents chose to have it checked out. Doc wasn't available until tomorrow (every other Tuesday) at this pawticular office. Mom has been purraying that it's only a heart Murmur and nothing more. I'm only a baby and mom can't go through more devastating news. She lost Picasso in December and then Kashmere in April. How much more can she take. I do eat well, play and don't show any signs of difficulty with breathing so that's always a plus but we won't know everything until tomorrow.

Thank you again fur keeping my in your purrrrs and I will post my update after my appointment, tomorrow evening. I am NOT looking forward to having sticky stuff rubbed all over my chest but there is no other was to do the test. At least my meowmy and daddy will be there fur me. Daddy is coming home tomorrow (was in Baltimore on business). Unfortunately, sometimes our pawrents can't leave their jobs, especially when they're in charge. Daddy is the safety supervisor and can't just walk away while there is nobody to replace him. They need to be certified and licensed fur the job that he does. Thankfully, his relief will be back tomorrow morning. Daddy also does Asbestos jobs if they need hos fur that. he is licensed in 3 different states.

OK, time to take a nap and rest up fur tomorrow. Oh, by the way, meowmy is even making a nice Pot Roast in the Crock Pot tomorrow. Boy how we love Roast and so does daddy.

My Vet Appointment Revealed A Slight Heart Murmur!

Today I had my annual Vet appointment with Dr Wray. I was so scared in the room (before Dr Wray came in) so I tried to hide under a pamphlet bin only to discover that I didn't fit *giggles* How silly of me to even think I'd fit under something so small? I actually decided to jump from the exam table onto the work table. Doc decided to only give me the Distemper shot since he doesn't like to give Rabies and Distemper booster at the same time. I'm scheduled to go back to see Doc in a month fur another exam and my Rabies shot. I now weigh a whopping 15.4 pounds at a year old!

As Dr Wray listened to my heart, mom could see some concern and she became purrry nervous. As he listened well, several times, he discovered that it sounds to be a slight Heart Murmur. He then proceeded to take a (Chest Radiograph) X-Ray of my heart & chest which showed no signs of fluids or enlargement at this time. He did explain that we won't know much until the actually Echocardiogram has been complete. Mom is taking me to see Dr. Miller (Angel Picasso & Cocoa's Cardiologist) on October 13th. Mom is so scared right now, especially because of it being my heart and how HCM tends to run greater in Ragdolls. She is trying to think positive but then again, it's hard fur her to do that. We lost my half brother, Picasso due to HCM and then the passing of Kashmere only 4 months later from a blood clot. My family has been through so much heartache, sorrow and pain and still has not accepted the passing of my siblings (Picasso & Kashmere). Now this... Please keep me in your purrrs & purrayers that everything will be ok and that it's just a slight Heart Murmur and nothing more. I was such a good boy when Doc carried me fur the. I was meowing a lot on the way to and from the vet but then again, I don't like the car ride to begin with. There is NO way in the cats that a meanie car can ever compare to my pawsome AT3 Stroller. Thanks again fur all of your prrrrs, purrayers and loving support to me and to my family.

Meowmy & Daddy Are Back From Las Vegas!

First of all, we would like to send a BIG catgrats to our wonderful brother, Cocoa who is today's Daily Diary pick! My siblings and I didn't get a chance to update our Diaries after meowmy and daddy arrived back home from their Las Vegas vacation this past Saturday morning. She slept most of the day after unpacking and putting things back in their place. Mom had to work on Sunday which she didn't want to but it was only fur 4 hours (4 hours too long fur her) *giggles* I do know that they had a wonderful time but certainly missed us. As fur winning... no such luck but who knows... maybe next time??? Our Auntie Patti (mom's dear furiend) and Auntie Lill (mom's sister) took pawsome care of us and made sure that we were all doing just fine.

Actually, mom is up earlier than she really wanted to be as dad decided to get an early start as he has some errands to run (off today) so he decided to get the Halloween decorations from the attic fur meowmy so that she could Halloween decorate later this morning. She will also be making a yummmy Spiral Ham fur dinner this evening which we love fur a treat!

Auntie Lill Stopped By While Auntie Patti Was At The- Doctors!

As most of you may know, our pawrents are vacationing in Las Vegas this week and our Auntie Patti has been watching us and always does a great job. Well, today she had to receive a meanie needle in her back (preventing her from doing anything afterward) she was unable to stop by. She will be back again tomorrow and fur the remainder during mom & dad's trip. Well, since Auntie Patti couldn't stop, our Auntie Lillian (mom's sister) came over to take care of us. She spent some time with us, did our boxes, fed us, changed our water dispenser because there were toys floating and even took pictures to send to mom. Some of us were a little shy at first since this is Auntie Lill's first time stopping by to care fur us but we did just fine after a little while and enjoyed her visit. By the way, Jaspurr gave Auntie a Jasper-tude while he was laying on the counter and even let out a few hisses. Hummm... he must be upset that meowmy and daddy are away. Auntie Lill and meowmy just laughed about it, knowing how Jaspurr thinks he's the king anyway *giggles*

Thanks again Auntie Patti and Auntie Lill fur taking care of us.. Tomorrow, Auntie Patti and her mom will be stopping by after her mom's doctor appointment in the morning...

Meowmy And Daddy Are Vacationing In Fabulous Las Vegas!

Meowmy and daddy are presently in Las Vegas having a great time. of course we miss them but at the same time, we want fur them to have a pawsome time on their vacation. The weather has been really nice here as well as in Vegas and we have my pawsome auntie Patti watching us while our pawrents are away. Auntie Patti has to get a needle in her back tomorrow so instead of her sopping by to care fur us, our auntie Lillian (mom's sister) will be stopping over. Auntie Lillian use to watch Picasso when mom & dad went away and he always had one of his siblings with him (Snowmitts, Aspen or Biscotti). Auntie Lill had a kitty who passed away from Cardiomyopathy so she knew what to look fur, not to mention that Picasso needed to be watched closely. Auntie always did a wonderful job with him. Mom chose to have one of his siblings go with him to aunt Lill's so that he wouldn't feel alone. although auntie does have 4 kitty cats of her own. It was easier to have him stay with her since she could watch him more closely since he'd be staying there.

Our pawrents haven't been too lucky yet, but hey, it's vacation and they're still having a great time. They won't allow losing ruin their trip. Never have and never will.

We miss you meowmy and daddy but know that we're in good hands with our aunties and we'll see you soon. Have a fun time and know how much we LOVE you *blows kisses*

Fall Is Now Approaching!

Before we know it, Fall will be here and that means that the windows will be open a lot more... We just love the fresh air coming in and that also means a lot more strolls to look forward to...

Mom was off the past few days and just spent her time relaxing and decorating our Fall Catster pages. She and daddy did go to the Borgata Casino on Monday fur dinner but only stayed fur a few hours, as it was soooo busy. Mom's next day off is this coming Thursday so she and her sister "auntie Lill" will be going out to dinner. In a few weeks, meowmy and daddy will starting their vacations which they can't wait.

We hope that everyone had a wonderful summer this year and now we have the beautiful Autumn season just around the corner.

Holy kittens... It's Already September!

Can you believe that it's already September? The weather has been cooler these past few days and mom has been keeping the windows open. Wow, there's nothing like sitting in a window looking out at the other side, including chirping birdies MOL! I do know that we Ragdolls will be going fur long strolls this week as well as baby Truffles. As fur Cocoa, I think he'll pass as he's NOT a fan of that pawsome contraption called a "stroller!"

Mom is now off until Sunday and hopefully, for Labor Day. Before we know it the summer will be gone and the fall will be arriving. Doesn't sound bad at all huh! Of course our meowmy loves the summer but at least in the Fall she will have the windows open and fur us to enjoy as well. Did I mention how purrty it looks when the trees are changing colors? Mom likes to make homemade apple & pumpkin pies (from scratch) in the fall and it smells super yummy baking in the oven.

Hope everyone is enjoying their summer and look forward to a beautiful fall. It won't be too long before we have to change our Catster pages again but we still have a little time left before doing that.

Happy 2nd Birthday To Our Bro Biscotti And To Tiskers &- Mittens!

On August 26th (Wednesday) we will be celebrating our brother,*BISCOTTI'S* 2nd Birthday along with Biscotti''s litter mates, *TISKERS* & *MITTENS* Can you believe that they're already 2 years old. They have grown into such handsome boys and we're all so proud of them.

Unfortunately, our meowmy has to work on their Birthday but please do feel free to help them celebrate by joining us at their ALL day pawty. Snowmitts has already started everything and would love fur all of you to join us. We'll be stopping back in the morning and then again when mom gets back home from work.

Our Dear Friend, Sammie Is Now An Angel!

We have just received the sad news that our dear and special friend, *SAMMIE* had made his journey into Heaven yesterday afternoon. My meowmy is crying as she's helping us to write our diaries. Sammie was one of our purry first friends here on Catsterland and has always been there fur all of us whether is was in celebration or sorrow. Sammie's beautiful family loved him so much just as all of us and he will be sadly missed. It is never easy to say good bye but we believe in our hearts that one day, we'll all meet again. Sammie may not be with us here on Earth but he will live on in our hearts, spirit and memories. We would greatly appreciate it if you would so kindly stop Sammie's page to send his family your love and support during this sad and difficult time. We love you Sammie and you will always and furever be our special furiend *wipes eyes*

UPDATE: 8/23/09-- We have just received the devastating news that our dear furiends, Mercy & Family's doggie, Cosmo made his journey into Heaven yesterday. Mercy and Family were also our first furiends on Catster since we joined. Mom is in tears as once again, as a special furiend has made his journey and he too will live in our hearts and memories furever... Our thoughts purrrs & purrayers are with Cosmo's family and Sammie family during this sad time and if they need anything, we're here fur them. Please know that Picasso & Kashmere were there to greet Cosmo and to welcome him into his new and peaceful home. I am so so sorry to have to share this sad news. Gifties From My Sister, Karisma & Family!

Today was a super fun day because I received pawsome Birthday gifties from my sister, *KARISMA*. That wasn't all... my daddy, Monte who is also Karisma's dad, received Birthday pressies as well. Both my mom and Karisma's mom were a bit belated with sending out the pawkages but that's ok with us as things do come up with our humans. The mail was a bit later than usual today and while mom was heading out the door to check the box, there is was... our mail was at the front door.

Now let me tell you all about my pressies. First of all, the pawkages were decorative (mine was blue striped) and Monte's was teal, white yellow and fuchsia. Enclosed were really cool things. I received a really nice Birthday card with a cute kitty on the front saying "You're Awesome!" Inside was a lovely message and there are even stickers (balloon, hat & cupcake) and it says "Birthday Boy." I also got a soft brown blankie with an embroidered mousie, KONG Kickeroo wrestling catnip toy (with tiger striped design) and a neat silver SmartyKat Loco Laser mouse. I just love all of my Birthday pressies and thanks so much Karisma & Family fur making my 1st Birthday so special but especially fur being my sister.

This coming Thursday would have been Picasso's 3rd Birthday. We will be thinking of our darling beloved brother and want him to know how much we love and miss him. He was taken from us too young on (12/8/08) but now he'll be celebrating his special day at the Bridge with all of his special angel friends. Thursday will be a very sad and difficult day fur meowmy but we'll do whatever we can to help her through it. Happy 3rds Birthday Picasso *wipes eyes*

Our Pawrents Spent The Weekend With Auntie Sam, Unkie Dan &- Kitties!

Yesterday morning at about 8:30 am, meowmy and daddy drove to Virginia to spent Saturday into Sunday morning with auntie Sam & unkie Dan (*BOOGERS' FAMILY*). When they arrived, unkie was waiting outside in the parking lot to put the guest parking ticket in the car. They then proceeded upstairs and as soon as they walked in the door, mom was so excited to see auntie standing there. Mom had a pawkage of goodies as well as homemade lemon iced tea which she made fur auntie & unkie. Mom gave the boys a soft comfy blue kitty bed, pawkage of Pounce treats, play ball, pink/purple speedy toy snail. She also gave auntie a large Cinnamon Yankee Candle and a pink Family Photo Album. Auntie then gave mom some pawsome gifties to take home. She received a pack of nice Fresh Scents (Vanilla) sachets, Flexible Chopping Mats (set of 2), which mom could always use and last but not least, things fur us kitties. We received Friskies Party Mix treats, large Kitty Kaviar, Flex-A-Lids fur our food, large can of Solid Gold kitty food and a pawkage of Pet Greens organic grass to grow inside. We also got a Petmate water dispenser since Mittens is always spilling it over *giggles* We do have one here at home but now we'll have two. Everyone then decided to go to lunch at a pawsome place called San Vitos followed by delicious ice cream at Maggie Moos. Unkie was purrry sweet and treated to lunch and ice cream. They then went back to auntie's to relax and play on the laptops. Mom and dad just adore all of their kitties. The first thing that mom did when she saw Tiskers was give him a big kiss right on the smackers. He is also so good with taking his medication. While meowmy and auntie were playing on the computers, daddy and unkie were watching UFC on TV. Later in the evening, daddy took everyone out to dinner at The Legal Seafood Company fur a delicious dinner. After wards, they went back to aunties, played a little more on the computer which Pet Society was doing maintenance on mom's page and then off to bed. This morning before leaving, unkie made freshly brewed Dunkin' Donuts coffee fur mom and auntie served yummmy morning Danish Twist fur everyone. Mom drove part of the way home but then she got nervous with the Bridge and Tunnel so dad took over. Dad was hoping to relax on the way back home but that wasn't happening. They stopped fur breakfast shortly after arriving in Maryland and then dad took over the wheel *giggles* Mom always seems to get out of driving long distances which was the same case when they drove to Florida. She didn't do any driving up or back. Silly mom.

My pawrents had a wonderful visit with auntie and unkie this past weekend and are looking forward to their visit in the near future. Mom and dad were talking on the way home about the fun time they had and how adorable the kitties are. Thanks again fur making my pawrents visit so pawsome. Mom and auntie got so involved with everything else that they furgot all about taking pictures. Since they weren't fixed up in the morning, they decided to pass on photos and will take them when auntie visits us. Mom did get a quick photo of Tiskers with his daddy. They others wanted nothing to do with the camera. As most of you may know, Tiskers is terminally ill with HCM (heart disease), which is the same disease that took our beloved Picasso from us. Please keep Tiskers in your purrayers. Meowmy and daddy can't get over how much Tiskers looks like our Snowmitts. As a matter of fact, Boogers, Hondo, Fido (from what we had seen of him since he was hiding most of the time), Tiskers, Mittens & PorkChop are all gorgeous and so sweet. By the way, don't tell Boogers this but mom said that he looks and feels like a cow! Oh no, does that mean diet time? Mittens is no light weight either *giggles* Mom will furever cherish her visit with auntie, unkie and kitties. Oh, I furgot to mention that mom also trimmed the fur on Tiskers and PorkChop's bums. This will help keep them neat since they do have long fur and at times could be messy after using the kitty box. Mom is always keeping our bums trimmed and now auntie knows how to do the trimmings as well. Auntie wasn't sure how far in to trim so mom was happy to show her. PorkChop is also my half brother as Monte is our daddy!

Our Pawrents Will Be Visiting Auntie Sam This Coming- Saturday!

Our pawrents are so excited because this coming Saturday, they will be visiting with auntie Sam, unkie Dan and kitties (Boogers' family). Mom's vacation starts next Sunday but she is taking a purrsonal day on Saturday to head fur the visit. The humans are planning on spending both Saturday and part of Sunday together, which will be so exciting and pawsome, especially since they have never been to aunties home yet. Saturday night they're going out going to dinner and the girls are planning on having Chocolate Martini's. Yummmy, doesn't that sound delicious *giggles* Mom is also making auntie and unkie homemade Sun Tea since auntie has never had that before... As most of you know, Tiskers was diagnosed with HCM not too long ago and this will make their visit even more special. Mom can't wait to give all of those handsome kitties big huggies and kisses. Our pawrents are planning to leave early so that everyone could spend the entire day together.

Other than that, nothing much has been going on. Daddy came home from Norfolk Virginia on Friday (business), which he was originally suppose to come home today. That was a nice surprise fur all of us as we're always happy to see daddy. Guess what??? He even brought us home a cool Tye-Dye shirt and it reads "Virginia Beach" on the front which of course, mom reversed it so that the lettering was on our back when it was time to pose. As fur Truffles, well, you'll just have to check out his page *giggles*

Catgrats To Our Baby Brother, Truffles!

I would like to start my diary entry off by sending a big catgrats to our baby brother, Truffles, today. He was chosen one of today's Catster Daily Diary Picks and what makes it even more exciting is that it's his first honor... Truffles is such a good boy and it's a pleasure to have him in our family.

Well, thank the cats that 4th Of July is over and today will be a quiet day here at home with my family. Mom is planning on taking my siblings out fur a stroll, providing the weather isn't too hot. As fur me, I hate the stroller and want no parts of it *giggles* Meowmy & daddy went to a Holiday pawty at dad's sister's yesterday but mom chose to come home a little early to spend the day with us as she knew that the fireworks may upset us Believe it or not, it wasn't too bad and there wasn't much going on, thankfully. Truffles was a little scared so he crawled next to meowmy as they watched Lifetime together. As fur the rest of us, we were fine most of the time, although disturbed by some of those meanie boom booms. Dad leaves fur Virginia on Tuesday (work) and of course, we'll miss him fur those 10 days *wipes eyes* he does have a photo of each of us in his wallet as well as on his cell phone. Today, I'm Celebrating My 1st Birthday!!!

It is now July 1st so that means that I have now turned 1 year old... This has been the most wonderful year spent with such a beautiful family who loves me so much. I have also endured sadness with the loss of my beloved brother, Picasso and sister, Kashmere as well as several furiends who had to make their journey to the Bridge. My purrry bestest furiend is baby Truffles which I took a big liking to him the purrry first time we met him which was on May 15th when he came home. He and I have so much fun playing and just hanging out together. I also have a pawsome kitty daddy, Monte Carlo and I'm so honored that he is now a part of my family. I know that deep in my heart this is something that Picasso would have wanted and I do believe that he had something to do with sending Monte to us. Thanks Picasso and we love and miss both you and Kashmere *wipes eyes* Daddy Monte is throwing me a pawty which will be all day and the theme is... are you ready? It's Pooh and Friends! Thanks daddy fur always thinking of me and fur making each and everyday a special celebration. I would also like to take this moment to wish my sister, Karisma (Patchez & Fam) a Happy 1st Birthday, today. Love you, sis!!! I Received A B-Day pawkage From My Bro, PorkChop!

Today, my pawrents went out to lunch and then to the casino fur a little while. When they returned, mom brought in a big box and it was addressed to me from my brother, *PORKCHOP & FAMILY* I was actually sleeping so mom chose not to disturb me fur photos. As soon as I did wake and have my dinner, she then proceeded to try and take photos but I wasn't in the mood so therefore, we will have to try again, tomorrow. I was excited when I saw all of my pawsome pressies but just wasn't up to posing all that anxiously fur the camera. Now I would like to tell you all about those.

Mom helped me to open the pawkage and enclosed was a really cool Kitty Hoot Scratchy Mat (door knob hanger) with a green feather, a cute feeding place mat that spells "MEOW" which will come in handy right next to the water fountain since Monte doesn't drink like a normal kitty. He likes to cup the water in his paw and drink from his paw. He does tends to get water all over the floor and moments later, mom sees a bunch of kitty paw marks all over the hardwood floors *giggles* I also got a pawkage of yummmy Party Mix (beachside flavor) treats, a pawkage of 4 Cat Crazy chew rings which we all love, a can of Fancy Feast Medleys and an adorable card that as big as I am... Mom will attempt taking more pictures again tomorrow when the lighting is better and hopefully, I will be a bit more cooperative??? Until then, I have posted a picture of my presents along with one of me that was taken before I ran fur the hills *giggles*

Getting Ready To Celebrate My 1st Birthday!

*giggles* As you can see... meowmy helped me to decorate my Birthday page and even took my picture. I'll be turning 1 year old on July 1st, which my half brother, PorkChop just finished celebrating his 1st on June 26th. Daddy (Monte Carlo) and PorkChop were talking and I think they have something planned fur me *puts paw on head* Mom is also off that day which makes it even more pawsome...

Hope every kitty and their families are having a wonderful and safe summer and be sure to wear that sunscreen, especially if you're a white kitty like me. Mom is off fur the Fourth of July weekend so I think that she and daddy will be going to dad's sister's fur a pawty. mom doesn't stay too long if it's really hot outside because she tends to get a bad headache if it's too hot and humid. I also have a feeling that we'll be going strolling on the next comfortable day. Today is a bit too humid just as they're calling fur tomorrow. Let's keep our paws crossed that Monday will be a pleasant day fur the good outdoors.

Happy Dad's Day To Our Daddy!

Tomorrow is Daddy's Day and it's a special day because it's all about celebrating the wonderful daddy's that we share... We have a pawsome dad who is always there fur us and shows us so much love. Mom is planning on taking daddy out to breakfast and we even saved our mousies up in hopes that we could trade those in fur a breakfast credit *giggles* I don't think that will work but we surely did try. Mom also took tomorrow off so that we can all spend it together to help daddy celebrate HIS special day...

We would also like to wish every daddy a wonderful day tomorrow and don't furget to spoil him like we plan to do with ours... After all, daddy's are a purrry important part of our lives. When dad gets up early in the morning at approx 5:00 am (mom is still asleep), he feeds us our breakfast and makes sure that we're all doing well before leaving fur work, including his off days. When mom isn't feeling well, he'll scoop the kitty boxes and take care of us as well as check on mom to see how she's doing. There are times when she just wants to be left alone if feeling under the weather, especially when she has a bad migraine which is understandable. We always get lots of lovies, treats and attention and that's what makes our daddy so loved and special. As you could see in our photos, daddy is purrry proud of us just as we are of him!

Happy 4th Birthday To My Daddy, Monte!

Today is a purrry important day because it's my daddy, *MONTE'S* 4th Birthday. We were blessed with his arrival on December 10th, 2008 after the passing of our brother, Picasso (Monte's son). He is such a pawsome brother and we would like to thank our breeder, Lisa fur giving him to us. Monte was adopted by our family In Loving Memory of his son, Picasso.

Happy 4th Birthday Monte and many more wonderful Birthday's to come. We are so happy that you are a part of our family. Today Is Picasso's 6th Month Bridge Annifursary!

Today is exactly 6 months (12/8/08) that our beloved and sweet brother, Picasso made is journey into Heaven. Today is Monday and that's also the weekday that Cassi left us. No matter how many annifursaries pass, we will never furget him and he will furever be close in our hearts. Each night before mom goes to bed, she wishes him a good night, as well as a good morning, along with angel Kashmere. Mom presently has a candle lit next to his urn on the bureau in memory of him and the joy that he has brought to all of us during his short stay here on earth. We love and miss you Picasso and one day, we'll all meet again *wipes eyes*

Well, today isn't as warm as it was yesterday. Meowmy and daddy met up with their furiend in Delaware yesterday fur a delicious lunch and conversation. It was on the hot side which left mom with a nasty headache. Overall, they had a wonderful time and it was a nice day out together. Presently, the landscapers are doing the lawns and mulch so that means lots and lots of loud noise which we really don't like too much but unfortunately, we can't go out and yell at them *giggles* It usually takes a good portion of the afternoon before they're finished.

Have you seen??? Meowmy spent last night doing our summer pages and they look really cute. She decided to the seashell theme since she loves seashells. Actually, she likes all things about summer but not the extreme heat. last year in Las Vegas, it was 105 degrees (in September) so that meant not too much time was spent at the pool. Daddy loves to swim but mom is petrified of water since she doesn't know how to swim. Silly meowmy! She would rather soak her tootises in the shallow end or just go into the outside jacuzzi. She'll even go out of her way to walk around the pool area away from the actual pool itself. As fur bridges... she's not happy about those either.

Well, back to loafing in the window and taking it easy fur the afternoon. Hope every kitty has a pawsome and fun week ahead!

Truffles' First Full Day Home With Us!

Today makes one full day after the arrival of our baby brother, *TRUFFLES* OMC... he is such a cutie pie and just blends right in as though he's been here fur months *giggles* It looks Cocoa and Aspen are going to have a challenge with him because he seems to follow meowmy around everywhere and those two are meowmy's boys to begin with! He really is a little darling and I'm happy that he's part of the family. We all believe that our beloved sister, Kashmere sent him to us and that makes him even more special. Monte, Cocoa and Jaspurr had a bit of a cat-titude with Truffles but don't you worry because he stood right up fur himself. As soon as they made a growling and hissie sound, he was right back at us, making the same noise but then he did run away afterwards. We really do like this cute little guy and the other three are accepting him more as the day goes on and it's not even anything major to begin with... just a few territorial noises and that's it. We have noticed that Snowmitts is playing bodyguard while I'm playing bestest buddy. I was even playing the track ball game earlier with Truffles and Snowmitts is constantly by his side. Afterall, he is closer to my age that the others *na na na na naaa* Mom has been training Truffles to use the Clawing Post and he's doing so well. He's not clawing the furniture or anything like that, it's just that mom wants to teach him good habits early and he's doing great.

Thank you to each and everyone fur giving Truffles such a warm welcome and fur all of the beautiful Birthday wishes that you so kindly sent to meowmy. I would now like to take this moment to wish my daddy a Happy 48th birthday, tomorrow (May 17th). Love you mom and dad and always know how special you are to us.

We Have A Special Announcement To Share!

Today is mom's Birthday and I would like to start off my diary by wishing her a purrry happy celebration and many many many more Happy and beautiful Birthday's to come... Love you meowmy! By the way, Biscotti is also one of today's Daily Diary picks *chases tail* What a pawsome day fur celebrations... Did I also mention that its also "HUG YOUR CAT DAY", today!

That's not the only celebration that we have and I bet your wondering what mom received fur her Birthday?!?! Well, when daddy asked her what she wanted fur her special day, she replied with "I don't want anything such as jewelry, perfume, etc... I would like to give a little Shelter kitty a happy home In Loving Memory Of Kashmere." Well, her Birthday wish came true and our pawrents officially adopted a little baby boy yesterday. He's a long haired Tabby and mom named him *TRUFFLES* Mom and dad went to the same Animal Shelter where mom adopted Kashmere 8 years. They filled out the application (it was last Friday) and this past Monday, mom received a call from the Shelter, letting her know that she could adopt. On Wednesday afternoon, mom was getting ready to leave work and shortly before, the Shelter left a message informing her that there were 3 babies surrendered that morning. Mom called daddy immediately to share the wonderful news. As soon as she came home from work, they were both on their way to the Shelter. The lady in the office called fur another girl to take them into the back to see the babies and as soon as mom saw Truffles, she knew in her heart that he was the one. She had no idea if it was a boy or girl and it didn't matter. My pawrents then walked over to the lady in the office and told her that they wanted to adopt the Tabby (there was only one). They then went into a special room so that they could start bonding with their new baby. At first he was purrry nervous and scared but with love and reassurance, he began to feel more comfortable. Yesterday, meowmy and daddy were at the Shelter while Truffles was being tested fur Feline Leukemia/Aids and thankfully, he's"negative." As you know, most Shelters will NOT release their babies without having them being neutered first and this is the way it should be. Truffles is approximately 9 weeks of age and has now received his first distemper shot and has also been wormed. Mom & dad will be picking him up from the Vet Hospital this evening at 5:50 pm. Mom will also be taking Truffles to our Vet fur an additional check-up and to have his own records from Dr. Wray. A Message From Barbi:

It has been very devastating for me after losing my beloved Picasso and suddenly, my little girl Kashmere and I wanted to do something special for my angel Kashy. I couldn't have asked for a more wonderful Birthday present than this little baby and Rob has been there every step of the way. Truffles was adopted from the same Shelter as Kashmere and I do believe in my heart that she sent this boy to us, just as Picasso sent us his daddy, Monte Carlo. There is no set time when one should adopt after losing a pet... Your heart knows when you are ready because that special little guy or girl lets you know. A part of me died when I lost both Kashmere and Picasso and that void could never and will never be filled. I did take a look on Petfinder here and there, but nothing came about so I knew it wasn't meant to be during those searches. Actually, this was the first Shelter that I filled out an application (last Friday) and had planned on visiting with other Shelters as well. When a person adopts after losing a beloved pet(s), we're not trying to replace them, as each and every pet has something special about them that could never be replaced. It's all about giving your new baby or adult a wonderful and loving home. In my case, it was "In Loving Memory Of Kashmere." This is such an exciting Birthday for me, as I never thought that I'd be bring home a baby on my actual Birthday! We're looking forward to bringing home our little baby tonight and everything is all ready for his arrival.

Meowmy received TWO Pawsome Birthday Pawkages Today!

Tomorrow (Friday) our wonderful meowmy will be celebrating her 46th Birthday. Unfortunately, she has to work but we do know that she's getting something purrry special fur her Birthday from daddy (her wish). We're not allowed to meow anything until tomorrow *giggles* By the way, tomorrow is also "HUG YOUR CAT DAY!" Everyday is Hug Your Cat Day in our family and that goes fur many times daily.

Today, mom received two pawkage from two pawsome furiends, Auntie Jo Ann (*PATCHEZ'S mom*) & Family and auntie Chris (*BITTA'S mom*) & Family. She couldn't decide which pawkage to open first so she decided to do the Eenie, meenie, minie, mo thing and the mo ended up on auntie Chris' gift so that meant opening that one first. Both pawkages were decorated really cute with a Birthday theme, as well.

Mom carefully opened *AUNTIE CHRIS'*s pawkage and enclosed was a beautiful card with a lovely saying inside and an orange kitty on the front. The pawkages were nicely wrapped and she could smell something so purrty from the wrapping. There was a gorgeous giftie bag with flowers all over it and a cute silk flower on the top. She unwrapped the pressies and wow, there were really nice things that auntie gave mom. There was a purrsonalized "Initially Yours" French Milled Soap with the letter "B" that stands fur "Barbi (mom's name), a purrty hanging decorative pillow that reads "Gather Friends and Flowers In Bunches" and it's it has the colors of lime green, while, pink and white polka dot on green along with purrty roses. Then there was a lily pad with a pink and yellow flower that smells soooooo nice. Mom wants to put in in her drawer to make it smell super purrty. She does use scented sachet pouches but would rather use this instead. There was also a vinyl butterfly that contains purple foam bath & gel (Bathing Beauties). One thing that mom does enjoy is taking a nice relaxing bubble bath with a glass of champagne (and strawberry) or a glass of Merlot right next to her side. Sometimes she will have a cup of tea, depending on what mood she's in. That wasn't all, there were even 2 adorable blue & white jean material handmade catnip fishies with the logo "Luv N Muffin!" Auntie Chris and Sharon are Ragamuffin breeders and their Cattery is called Luv N Muffin. As soon as we spotted these cool fishies, we were ready to play. They're actually Snowmitts & Jaspurr's toys (from their girls) but we don't mind sharing in our household... well, most of the time.


Next it was time to open *AUNTIE JOANN'S* gifties. Once again, mom carefully opened the pawkage and inside were beautifully wrapped gifties (in B-day paper) along with a lovely Birthday furiendship card. She then proceeded to open the wrapping and holy kittens, there were really nice things. She received a singing soft white bear wearing a blue and pink pawty along with a Happy Birthday sash. There is a little button on his paw and when you press it, the bear sings Happy Birthday and the birthday cake button on his upper left chest blinks and twinkles and that made meowmy laugh. There was also a purse hanger which mom could certainly use. It's displayed in a purse shaped box and the hanger is peach & gold with a purrty heart in the middle. What's nice about this is that it's small and folds up. Any ladies that use purses know that this is one thing that will come in use. Our meowmy actually carries a purse/handbag at all times! Last but not least, there was a cute Sassy Cat Magnet that reads "Have You Hugged Your Cat?"

Mom Recieved A Purrty Birthday Giftie From Boogers And- Family!

Today, mom spent her day off cleaning, vacuuming and doing the hardwood floors. Of course, we just loafed around like kitty cats do best *giggles* Later in the afternoon, mom received a white bubble pawkage from auntie Sam & Family (*BOOGERS*) and she couldn't wait to open it. Enclosed was an adorable Birthday card with a picture of a kitty coming out of a gift box and there was a lovely message inside. She then unwrapped the clear bubble wrapping which inside was a really pretty glass frame with decorative pieced glass art forming pretty flowers and leaves. The flowers are pieced in white and amber glass while the leaves are two toned green. There are also amber chips of glass throughout the leaf area. Inside of the actual framed glass are more pieces of amber & clear glass with hand painted leaves as well. Mom is planning on getting a frame stand so she can display it some place very special... most likely on the dining room server.

Thank you so much auntie Sam and family fur making mom's Birthday so special and she would also like to send all of you a purrry warm thank you along with a message saying "thanks for being such thoughtful and special friends to me throughout the year." Auntie Sam was one of mom's first furiends on Catster and she feels honored and purrry lucky. Mom will be celebrating her 46th Birthday on May 15th which is also "HUG YOUR CAT DAY" so that makes her day even more pawsome. She does have to work on Friday but that's ok because she's off this coming weekend to celebrate Dad's 48th Birthday which is May 17th!

Today Is Purrry Special Because It's Mom's Day!

I would like to start of my diary by wishing my mom a purrry Happy Mom's Day and fur being the bestest mom a kitty could ask fur. We would also like to wish all of you special moms a wonderful Mommy's Day and we hope that you had a special celebration as well.

This morning when mom woke up, there was a purrty flower gift wrapped pressie from all of us, including daddy. She opened slowly as she does with all of her gifties and there it way... a bottle of her favorite perfume by Ralph Lauren "Romance." She was so excited because she ran out of it a while ago, although she doses have several different Chanel's and others, she likes her Romance. Shortly after wards, daddy took her to breakfast (we all chipped in our mousie allowances) and after wards they went grocery shopping. Daddy and meowmy always go together unless mom is too tired or has to be in work. They usually go shopping at about 6:30 am. After shopping, they came home and relaxed with us and mom also lit a candle fur Picasso & Kashmere.

It was such a beautiful sunny day but it was also quite windy so mom chose not to take us Raggies strolling. Later in the evening, daddy then surprised mom by taking her out to dinner fur Mother's Day. Wow, perfume, then to breakfast and then dinner?!?! Mom certainly does deserve it because not only is she a pawsome mom on this special day but everyday and we all know it. She had yummmy stuffed flounder with Crabmeat while daddy had a steak. By the time they were finished of eating, they were too stuffed fur dessert so they decided to each take home a chocolate layered cake. Mom even brought home some of her fishie dinner fur us which was really thoughtful. We really don't eat much seafood since we're neutered males but once in a while is ok and today is a special occasion.

We're the luckiest and most blessed kitties to have such a loving and caring mom... Whenever we're sick, she's there to care and watch over us and she always makes sure that we have a cabinet filled with lots food and of course Sheba & treats, as well as kitty vitamins (Nu-Vet). This isn't to mention all of the pawsome toys that we have! Our kitty boxes are always purrry clean, scooped and sanitized which is certainly is a pleasant experience. She's always there to celebrate our Birthday's and takes off from work to mourn when one of us makes our journey into Heaven. I was such a lucky kitty when mom brought me home from the Breeder's 10 months ago and she means the world to me. I love to bring my toys throughout the night and drop them next to either meowmy or daddy. Of course, there are nights when my pawrents are toooo tired to throw the toy back onto the floor fur fetchie catchie games. That's when I settle between them and dream about treats. Unfortunately, there are so many kitties out there who aren't loved as we are and our hearts go out to them wherever they are. Love is something that comes from the heart and is unmeasurable.

Thanks mom fur being the bestest meowmy in the whole world and fur always being there fur us. We wouldn't have it any other way and on this special day, we would like to let you know just how much we love and appreciate you *blows kisses* I would also like to wish all of those special kitty mom's a wonderful Mother's Day as well...,Daddy is planning on taking meowmy out to breakfast from all of us. You do know that we saved our allowances, right? She is also planning on spending the day with us and if it's nice out, she's taking us Raggies strolling *chases fluffy tail*

Mom is also going to light a votive candle next to Picasso & Kashmere's urns to honor them and to let them know what wonderful furchildren they were to her and how much she loves and misses them. We are happy to be celebrating this day with our meowmy but at the same time it will be sad fur all of us since our angel siblings aren't here with us to help celebrate with meowmy. Mom does have the beautiful memories of Picasso and Kashmere which she'll always hold close and dear to her heart...

Rain Rain Rain... And More Rain!

First of all, we would like to blow lots of kitty kisses up into Heaven to let our beloved sister, Kashmere and brother, Picasso to let them know that we love and miss everyday. Today marks two weeks since Kashmere made her journey into Heaven and it has been purrry sad and difficult fur all of us. We know that our beloved brother, Picasso is taking good care of Kashy and showing her around the Bridge and one day, we will reunite and be together furever...

Holy kittens... where is all of this rain coming from? It has been raining almost everyday fur weeks and the temperature has even dropped some. Please don't get me wrong... we don't mind rain but we've really had our share of it. I thought that April Showers brought May Flowers but it seems more like April and May showers bring June flowers *giggles* All I know is after this abundance of rainfall, we better get some pawsome flowers blooming. By the way, they're calling fur rain throughout the week well into the weekend *hisss*

Hope that everyone is having a wonderful May and I surely hope that that you're getting a bit more sunshine than we are. Maybe, just maybe Sunday (Mother's Day) will be extra nice fur our meowmy as well as fur yours... Even if it does decide to continue raining on Sunday, we'll make our meowmy's day extra special just as she does fur us throughout the entire year. We're blessed and purrry lucky to have such a loving mom who devotes her time into always doing fur us. Thanks mom and we love you more than there are wildflowers in a field!!! Happy 8th Birthday To Our Beloved Sister, Kashmere!

Before meowmy has to leave fur work in a little bit, we wanted to write a special Diary entry In Loving Memory of our beloved sister and her daughter, Kashmere's Birthday...

On April 21st (also Cocoa's 14th Birthday), our sister, Kashmere was taken from us suddenly as she made her journey to Rainbow Bridge. She would have been celebrating her 8th Birthday today (just 10 days shy of celebrating when she became an Angel). This is going to be an extremely difficult day fur meowmy as she's crying right now, helping us with our diaries. Kashmere loved Hello Kitty and anything that was pink. As most of you know, she was a girlie girl and such a purrty young lady. She had a beautiful family who loved her purrry much as always will. Kashmere also had a darling boyfriend named Bubby who she began dating this past February. Bubby had asked her to be his Valentine and it was True Love after that. We do know that Bubby will always be Kashmere's sweetheart and she will love no other guy as she did and still does her Bubby.

Meowmy adopted Kashmere when she was a purrry young baby and was on the list to be euthanized. Mom was actually dropping off food and toys fur the shelter and saw a pen filled with little babies. Kashmere walked up to meowmy so the girl asked if mom would like to go in with the kittens so she did. She held Kashmere and asked if this Shelter puts their animals to sleep and the girl said yes. Kashmere was on the list so mom chose to adopt her the purrry same day. She then called our vet and set up an appointment to have Kashmere checked before bringing her to her furever home. Kashmere got a clean bill of health and was on her way. As soon as mom walked into the door, she proceeded upstairs with a cardboard carrier and there was daddy at the computer. She then said "Guess what Rob??? You're a daddy!" You should have seen daddy's face at first. Mom then took Kashmere out of the carrier and handed her to daddy. Of course, us Raggies weren't here yet, nor even born!

We know that Kashmere is having a wonderful celebration with all of her angel furiends and of course, her bro Picasso but it doesn't help ease the pain knowing that she isn't here on Earth with us, celebrating. Even though Kashmere is not here on Earth to celebrate her 8th Birthday, we are celebrating fur her in our hearts and I know that she knows that. Just because a beloved pet leaves the family fur Rainbow Bridge doesn't mean that they're not alive in our hearts and memories and that's why we should always celebrate fur our angels. After work, mom will be lighting a pink votive next to Kashmere's Urn and photo to help celebrate her Birthday here at home..

We love and miss you purrry much Kashmere and no matter how much time passes, the pain of losing you will last a lifetime. Happy Birthday 8th Birthday sweet little Angel. She was a true blessing to all of us *puts paws together*

Our Beloved Sister, Kashmere Is Back Home With Us!

Last night after meowmy was finished of working, she stopped by the Vet's to pick up our beloved Kashmere's ashes. As soon as she walked in the door, she was holding a white box closely to her chest. She then told all of us that Kashmere is now home to stay. We could see the tears in her eyes as she went upstairs to remove Kashmere's Cherry wood Urn from the white outer box. Mom opened her Urn and placed a cute little pink mousie along with a purrty pink sachet which contained a clipping of Kashmere's fur. She then closed and locked the Urn, followed by a gentle kiss before placing it on the bedroom bureau next to Picasso.

We all miss Kashmere purrry much but we know that she is now a beautiful angel with our brother, Picasso. Mom is still hurting deeply and will be fur a long time but we're glad that she has felt some closure after bringing home her little girl. We would all like to thank you again fur your love, purrrs and purrayers during this time of sorrow and devastated.

Our Sister, Kashmere Is Now Heaven's Angel

Late last night at 11:45, our beloved sister, Kashmere made her journey into Heaven. Mom was chatting with auntie Joann (Patchez mom) and discussing how she just finished Kashmere's Birthday pages with Hello Kitty. About 5 minutes later, meowmy heard a horrible intense moan so she told Joann that she'd call her back, thinking that one of us must have been having a kitty disagreement. As mom approached the second level of stairs, she saw Kashmere having convulsions and ran to her. She tried to administer CPR but at that point, it was too late. Kashmere passed away purrry quickly in mom's arms. Mom them kept talking to her to please wake up even though there was no heart beat. She was in shock and couldn't believe what had happened. She held Kashmere for about 15 minutes, just rocking her hoping fur a miracle but unfortunately, that miracle was never answered. Mom then wrapped Kashmere is a white blankie with blue paw prints and placed her in a large box where she was kept in the cool garage until the morning when she would be taken to the vet. Mom got no sleep and hasn't eaten since 5:30 pm, last night. Today when mom had taken Kashmere to the vet, she asked to have an autopsy performed but since she was deceased fur more than 1-1/2 hours, it could not be done as the body collects bacteria and separates internally almost immediately. Later on when Dr Wray phoned, he explained about the deterioration and separation to meowmy to help her understand better. Since an animal is much smaller than a person, this process begins almost the time of death and invades the body more quickly. He also said that it sounds as though Kashmere had a clot which traveled to her brain and that's what caused the convulsions. Her dilated pupils also indicated that it was something neurological and that she was basically no longer with us. At this point, nothing could be done as it took her so suddenly. Kashy was already brain dead as Dr Wray explained. She has never been sick a day in her life and this is what makes it even more shocking. She may have had a clot as a kitten which suddenly traveled, causing her immediate passing. A blood clot is something that can not be diagnosed, especially if there isn't anything that gives indication such as with Kashmere. It can suddenly appear within and take a life within moments.

Kashmere is being privately cremated at the same Crematory as Picasso. She will be returning back home next week where she can rest next to her beloved brother. We would like to thank all of you fur all of your kind words, phone calls, gifties and rosettes. Mom would also like to thank each of you from the bottom of her heart and will get back to you when she is feeling a little stronger to do so.

Isis and family sent my brother, Cocoa a Birthday pawkage which arrived today but mom will take photos tomorrow. She just isn't up to much right now and we're doing our best to help her through this. Daddy is still at work (he's a safety supervisor) fur hazardous and can't leave without someone taking his place. Hopefully, he will be returning back home earlier than is planned. Unfortunately, there aren't many people who are licensed to do this job and he's responsible fur watching out fur his workers to keep them safe from hazardous duties. He has been calling meowmy often throughout the day to check up on her. Daddy will be with this pawticular job fur about another month or so (home on the weekends).

We love and miss you purrry much Kashmere and one day we will meet again and be together furever and ever... Kashmere made her journey to Heaven on Cocoa's 14th Birthday (4/21/09). She would have been celebrating her 8th Birthday on May 1st and she loved "Hello Kitty!"

Happy 14th Birthday To Our Bro, Cocoa!

Our handsome brother, *COCOA* will be celebrating his 14th Birthday on Tuesday, April 21st and we are so proud to be sharing this special day with him. Cocoa is such a wonderful kitty and has been with meowmy fur 14 years. That's surely a long time together and we purray that he will have many more lovely Birthday's to share with us. As some of you may know, Cocoa was diagnosed with Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM) over 5 years ago and each and everyday that we have with him is a true blessing. Mom makes sure that he takes his medications daily and monitors his breathing just as she did with our beloved Picasso. Picasso had the same heart disease as Cocoa but Cassi's was at the advanced stages when he was diagnosed at 5-1/2 months. No matter what, Cardiomyopathy is a serious heart disease and should never be taken lightly. Our meowmy is terrific and we always know that we're in good hands with her, no matter how sick we are. Now, let's help Cocoa celebrate this special day. We have decided to make his theme POOH since that's his favorite character. Today Was My First Stroll Ever- 2009!

Today, meowmy decided to take us strolling but not as long as we would have liked. This is actually my FIST stroll and that makes it even more special. Mom wasn't sure if I'd even enjoy the stroller but she had a feeling that I would and she was right! You see, last night, meowmy fell while leaving with her furiend from having dinner and she ended up cutting, scrapping and bruising her left knee and boy was she was feeling the pain after wards. Mom kept it elevated during the night as it has helped but is still quite sore and burning. She felt that since it was such a beautiful day today and has been pawmising us to go strolling, she chose to keep that pawmise. We went fur a little cruise up the street and around the cul-de-sac and then back home. All 6 of us Raggies had the pleasure of enjoying this beautiful thanks so meowmy and we all went separately, too! When she's feeling better (sinus infection and hurt knee) we'll go fur a longer stroll but fur now, this was fine. Thanks meowmy fur making our Friday so enjoyable and I never knew that there were so many cool things outside... Daddy comes home tonight fur the weekend and we can't wait to see him *chases tail* By the way, this is also Monte's first stroll ever and he had a great time as well.

Tomorrow is going to be warmer so I think meowmy and daddy will be making plans to have lunch down the shore and even take a little stroll on the boardwalk. Sounds like a good plan to me, providing that mom's knee is feeling up to it. If not, than a yummmy lunch will still be part of their plans.

Our Dear Furiend, Muppet is Purrry Ill!

Last night we have learned that our dear and special furiend, *MUPPET* was diagnosed with a brain tumor and unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be much that they can do at this point but that doesn't mean we're giving up hope *wipes eyes* Mom was devastated when she learned of this sad news and decided to go to bed earlier than usual. Mom is also not feeling well, due to a bad sinus infection so she's taking several antibiotics fur 10 days. My pawrents met Muppet and her meowmy, Cheryl last year in Las Vegas while Muppet was visiting a specialist fur her ear. It was such a nice meeting and my parents are honored to have met such a wonderful family.

Please keep Muppet and her meowmy in your purrrs and purrayers during this sad and difficult time. We love you Muppet and auntie Cheryl and always know that we're here fur you.

Thanking You Fur Your Easter Gifties & Rosettes!

Well, before we know it, Easter Sunday will be here in just a few days. Meowmy and daddy are planning on going to dad's niece's fur dinner, after all. Daddy is gone all week and is only home fur the weekends and most likely, this pawticular job will last another month or so. Hopefully, they won't call him back to Alaska but if they do, than there really isn't anything we can do. We have meowmy to take wonderful care of us, although we would miss our daddy purrry much! "Let's cross that bridge if and when we come to it" as meowmy would say.

Make sure that you leave plenty of fresh carrots fur the Easter bunny along with a little Easter note or card. I know that he'll appreciate it and leave you something special as well. We decided to do our diaries a few days earlier since we may not be on as much on Easter Sunday. Our thoughts will also be with our beloved Picasso as he will be remembered and missed this Easter Holiday. We're sure that he'll have a wonderful Easter celebration with his angel furiends in Heaven.

Purrrry Rainy Day Today!

Today was such a horrible day as it rained purrry heavily fur most of the day... This morning it even disturbed us as it was falling against the skylights in the living room. Mom had to take some Easter pawkages to the post office today and there is one thing that she hates is drying in severe weather.

Daddy left fur New York this morning at about 3:15 am. We had a nice weekend with him and look forward to seeing him again when he returns back home On Friday. Mom isn't quite sure if she's going to make a Spiral ham with a delicious Praline glaze fur Easter dinner or if they are going to daddy's niece's? Mom will leave it up to daddy this time so maybe they will go to his niece's. It wouldn't matter to mom since she doesn't mind cooking... actually that is one thing that she enjoys. If they do decide to go to his niece's than mom will make the ham one day that week fur dinner here at home! Of course, that include would include homemade garlic mashed potatoes, baby asparagus and maybe even broccoli rabe! We'll pass on the potatoes and greens though *giggles*

Have you checked out our new photos today? Meowmy took pictures of us wearing our GO ORANGE shirt to help support the ASPCA. Just in case some of you are unaware, April is "GO ORANGE" month fur the ASPCA and wearing orange shows supports to help prevent Animal Cruelty. Mom also wears an orange ribbon during the month of April. This is one of the organizations that she has donated fur many years along with several others.

Mom also took photos of us wearing our formal black and white bow tie fur Easter on Sunday. Some of my siblings will be having dinner with their sweethearts while the rest of us will be spending it with meowmy & daddy...

Well, time fur beddie pie because mom has to go to work tomorrow so she needs to get her beauty rest.

Getting Ready Fur The Easter Bunny!

Well, before we know it, the Easter bunny will be hopping by to visit with us and we can't wait. We have our Egglands Best eggs all ready to be colored and we're even planning on leaving him a bunch of carrots. of course the ones with the stems on them since bunny rabbits love to eat greens. It will be sad not having Picasso here to help us celebrate with us but we know that he has so many special angel furiends that he'll be celebrating Easter with. We love and miss you purry much Cassi *wipes eyes* This will also my first Easter and and I'm so happy and blessed to have been brought into such a wonderful and loving family...

Meowmy and daddy went grocery shopping early this morning and then to BJ's Wholesale. Mom also ran to Petsmart and to Michaels Crafts fur a few things... By the way, have you checked out our second photo of us wearing our new bunny floppy ears? Does mom actually think that the Easter bunny is going to take us as being rabbits? We didn't mind wearing the ears but I will be honest when I meow that we found the ears that Mercy gave us to be less obvious feeling on our noggins *giggles* Either way, I think we look adorable in both pairs but the ones that Mercy gave us (main picture) has more meaning because they were sent to us from the heart from such a beautiful family.

Mom isn't feeling so great right now because her sinus headache is getting worse and that's never comfortable. She's planning on taking some medicine to help make her feel a little better so that she'll be able to get some sleep tonight. By the way, today was so gorgeous that mom had the windows down and the sunroof open in her car. Hopefully, the rest of the week will be just like today so that I can go fur my first stroll.

I'm Now NINE Months Old!

Can you believe that I am already 9 months old (April 1st) and I'm growing to be so big. Mom didn't go onto the Catster yesterday so we decided to go on today. We also excited that our human daddy will be home from New York on Friday night fur the weekend. My auntie Lillian (mom's sister) stopped by on Monday evening fur dinner... Mom was making her homemade spaghetti sauce. She couldn't believe how much my daddy, Monte looks just like Angel Picasso. Monte even talked to auntie and then jumped onto her lap fur lots of lovies and pets. That's my daddy fur ya! Yesterday was rather quiet and the weather was terrible (rain & hail) throughout the day so mom just relaxed most of the day. Unfortunately, mom has to work today but that's ok since we'll be napping most of the day...

Hope all is having a pawsome week and lets continue to keep those paws crossed fur warm weather. I have never gone strolling so I'm looking forward to that interesting adventure. This will also be my daddy's first stroll ever. Hummm, maybe he and I will go together since the AT3 will fit the both of us comfortable.

April Is Already Approaching!

Mom can't believe how quickly March has passed by... Our beautiful Spring flowers are now beginning to bloom and mom even put out her special Easter garden flags. She does want to plant some summer flowers as well (likes impatience) but wishes they came back every year. Oh well, we can't have everything *giggles* Daddy is in New York again this week but will be home fur the weekend (Friday).

As most of you may have heard, there is a nasty computer worm going around in the computer known as "Conficker." Mom has completed a full systems scan and will be saving her most recent photos on DVD the ones that she doesn't have saved). We have the Norton 360 perform a systems scan every night but as fur the photos, the last time was about a month ago and since then, she has taken a lot of new photos. At this time, she's unsure if she's going to be on the computer tomorrow (April 1st) as that's when this horrible worm is suppose to be hitting. I'm sure that not every computer will be affected but mom is funny about stuff like that and doesn't like to take any chances but we'll see after we hear more of what's going on. It's always better to be safe than sorry. The worm has already affected millions of computers and that's scary. If you don't hear from us tomorrow than please know that the reason was because mom didn't let us sign on. Some humans may not be taking this seriously but as fur my meowmy... she is as well as daddy and auntie Lillian (mom's sister). Neither one of them will be on their computers tomorrow as far as I know.

Happy 5th Birthday To Our Bro, Jaspurr!

Today is a purrry special day because we are celebrating our brother, *JASPURR'S* Birthday! He is such a pawsome brother and wow does he LOVE the stroller. Actually, I have been told by my Raggie siblings that Jaspurr is the last to stroll because once he's in it, there's no getting him out. Therefore, the others can't strolling until he decides that he's had enough of it which could be a good hour or even more *giggles* Mom does have the smaller Pet Gear Happy Trails stroller but prefers the AT3. In case some of you don't know this, Jaspurr and Aspen are also full brothers (same breeder as all of my Raggie siblings) but Jaspurr and Aspey were born at a different time so they're not litter mates. Same meowmy & daddy of course! By the way, I have not gone strolling yet but I can't wait to go this coming spring, summer & early fall *chases tail*

Meowmy Helped Us With Our Easter Pages!

This morning, meowmy finished our Easter pages and also took photos of us with our bunny ears. Now where did these adorable wars come from??? Well, this past December (a week before Picasso's passing), we received a pawkage in the mail and it was from our dear furiends, *MERCY & FAM'* Mom is purrry thankful that she did take a photo of Picasso wearing these when they came in the mail. Last night she posted his bunny ears photo and she was crying while remember it as though it was only yesterday. This was the last costume that Picasso wore and as you all remember, he never minded getting dressed up. Now he has beautiful wings that he's wearing in Heaven. We weren't too bad with posing although some of us weren't all that much in the mood but we chose to pose anyway. If we're totally not in the mood than meowmy will make that pawticular kitty's session later on. One thing that she has always pawmised us is that if we're not up to it than it can wait until we're more in the picture taking mood... If we're totally not in the mood than meowmy will make that pawticular kitty's session later on. This is also my FIRST Easter and I have been told all about that cool Easter bunny that hops by and leaves basketful of goodies. I think I'll even leave him a nice organic carrot fur when he visits.

Now that Easter in on the way, we're waiting fur our purrty flowers to bloom which it does look like the Hyacinths are starting to along with the tulips. Today is a dreary rainy day but that's ok because our auntie Patti is coming over tonight and that always brightens our day. Her Birthday was on St. Patty's Day so mom is making her a nice baked macaroni dinner. We're also excited because daddy will be coming home tomorrow evening from his business trip to New York.

Happy 3rd Birthday To Our Bro, Snowmitts!

Today is a purrry special day as we are celebrating our brother, *SNOWMITTS'* 3rd Birthday. Snowmitts is always such a sweet kitty and boy does he like to eat *giggles* As most of you may know, Snowmitts has 3 other full related brothers who share the same Ragdoll daddy, "Boris" and those brothers are Biscotti (our family) and Tiskers & Mittens (Boogers' family). His bestest furiend was our beloved brother, Picasso and it was purrry hard fur him to accept when Picasso made his journey to the Bridge this past December. Mitts also came from the same breeder as my other Ragdoll siblings. Mom can't believe that he's already 3 and she said to daddy on the phone today that it seems like yesterday when Snowmitts came to live with us. Daddy actually called to wish him a Happy 3rd Birthday this morning, which was really thoughtful of our daddy. Mitts is always such a joy to watch and reminds us of a BIG bear and I mean BIGGG! We do know that Tiskers mom, auntie Sam thinks the world of snowmitts as well and is always threatening to steal him away *giggles* We're hoping that auntie will stop by either this spring or summer fur another visit!!!

Snowmitts also has a beautiful girlfriend named Bitta and I do know that she is his world. All he does is meow's about Bitta and how purrrty and sweet his little Bitta is. Mom is hoping as well that one day soon, Bitta's mom "auntie Chris" will also stop by fur a visit and get to meet all of us *crosses paws*

Our Pawrents Arrived Back Home Last Night (3/8/09)!

Yesterday was such a long day fur our pawrents. They had a pawsome time and even visited and stayed the night on Saturday with auntie Joann & unkie Ed (*KARISMA & FAM*). By the way, driving to Florida from New Jersey and vice versa is a long and tiresome trip! Now let me tell you all about their stay with auntie Joann & family...

My pawrents were planning on meeting up fur dinner with auntie Joann and unkie Ed (in North Carolina) before Hooch got sick (on their way to Florida) but since auntie needed to monitor Hooch closely, they decided to cancel their plans fur meeting on the way down. They did discuss that id Hooch is feeling better than they could meet up on the way back home. My pawrents left fur Florida on March 1st, stayed in Georgia fur the evening and continued driving to Florida the following day. They had a wonderful week and visited with daddy's family and his furiend, Richie who also reside in Florida. Meowmy & daddy went to GatorLand, Busch Gardens and even SeaWorld and had a great time in each park. Mom especially loves SeaWorld and took lots of cute photos. They stayed several nights at dad's nephew's home and then back to the Hotel on Friday. At about 7:30 am on Friday, meowmy phoned auntie Joann to see if it was ok fur all of us to meet up fur dinner and auntie Joann invited them to stay the night at their home, which my pawrents were so excited and thought it was so kind and thoughtful. Daddy never got to meet auntie Joann or unkie Ed. plus, they were so happy to meet all 12 of their beautiful kitties and the cute doggies as well. They couldn't believe how stocky my sister, Karisma was, especially fur being a female. It did seem like Karisma took a big liking to daddy while on the other paw, Hooch did give him a shocking hissss!!! Then again, we were told that Hooch doesn't like men so that made sense fur his sudden reaction to daddy. After the first hisss, Hooch was fine and even didn't mind daddy being around. They actually arrived in North Carolina at about 3:30 pm and there was unkie Ed playing in the yard with his mulch. daddy and unkie got along right away and started chatting as though they knew each other fur years *giggles* Auntie had to run to the store so she wasn't at the home when we arrived. Moments later, auntie arrived and mom was so excited to see her again. Meowmy and daddy just loved all of the kitties and their home is kept purrry nicely and clean which mom always respects especially with a multi-cat household. Mom is one fur keeping her home neat and the litter boxes exceptionally clean as well... The last time that mom saw auntie and unkie was when they stayed at our home (picking up baby Karisma), last year. Everyone chatted fur a little while and auntie also gave meowmy a purrty blue & white checked giftie bag with something fur her and fur us. Enclosed was a large Yankee Candle (sun & sand fragrance), SmartyKat Madcap mousie (with catnip), pawkage of 4-crinkle balls and a large container of Krazee Kitty catnip bubbles. A little while later, everyone decided that they were hungry so they went to a really yummy Italian Restaurant. After dinner, they stopped by auntie's grandson, Jimmy's to feed his 3 kitties while he and his wife are on a cruise. After wards, they headed back to relax. meowmy and auntie had a nice glass of Merlot while daddy and unkie were watching tv. My pawrents decided to get to bed earlier than usual since they were so tired and had a long drive ahead of them on Sunday morning. In the morning before they left fur home, everyone had a delicious breakfast. Mom knew that this was near the end of their visit and she would miss Joann, unkie and the kitties purrry much *wipes eyes* By the time our pawrents arrived back home at about 7:30 pm and they were soooo tired. Mom scooped the boxes, unpacked and got ready fur night nights. Daddy is working in Long Island this week so that means even more driving fur him. They had a wonderful time and their stay with auntie and unkie was enjoyable and purrry memorable. My pawrents do hope to see auntie & unkie again sometime in the near future whether it's at their home or if they decide to visit with us. They would also love to visit with auntie Chris (Bitta''s mom) when in that area of Georgia. That would have to be a day set aside just fur that visit since she is no where near where they were going this time. Auntie Chris is always welcome at our home fur a visit and stay if she's in the area as well... We did want to visit with auntie Sam (Boogers mom) because mom would have enjoyed meeting all of her kitties and it was on the way home but auntie had eye surgery several days before and didn't want my pawrents to see her bruised eyes. Mom and dad would never judge auntie's eyes but we respect that she didn't want to be seen with bruised peepers. Maybe auntie Sam & unkie Dan will stop by our home this spring or summer *crosses paws*

It's nice to have my pawrents back home as we missed them purrry much. Of course, we do love auntie Patti and she did a pawsome job kittysitting us fur the week as always *blows kisses to auntie* Sending a big catgrats to my daddy, Monte Carlo fur being yesterday's DDP!

Oh, I almost furgot to mention that meowmy also brought us back a really cute yellow Pooh tee shirt (6-9 months) which will be a little roomy on me but that's ok. After all, I do have some purrry large siblings *giggles* The shirt says "My First POOH T-Shirt Florida." Whenever our pawrents go on vacation they always bring us something back special. Their next planned vacation will be in Las Vegas, which they visit every September.

My Pawrents Are Now In Sunny Florida!

Meowmy and daddy arrived safely to Florida early this afternoon. They drove all the way from Southern New Jersey yesterday morning, stayed over night in Georgia and then continued their travels again this morning. Today, they also stopped by to visit daddy's furiend who resides in Florida and even had a really nice dinner. Mom chose the Maine Lobster tails and daddy and Rich had steak. Tomorrow, they will be stopping by to visit with daddy's nephew and his wife. On Wednesday, meowmy and daddy are going to Busch Gardens and then on Thursday, they'll be visiting Sea World! Mom loves loves loves Sea World and can't wait to see Shamu the Wale again as it's been about 9 years). They do have a week planned with fun things to do but of course, we're counting down the days until they arrive back home. I wonder what they'll bring back fur us???

Last night and into today, we got a total of approximately 12 inches of snow. Auntie Patti stopped by last night after work to take care of us just before the snow began to get really bad. She left extra bowls of dry in addition to the 3 large bowls that we already had out before mom and dad left in the morning. Auntie also scooped our kitty boxes and spent extra lovie time with us. Mom was shocked to hear that afternoon that we were expecting 12 inches total between Sunday night into Monday afternoon. She did hear about a wintry mix on Sunday morning but nothing like we got. My pawrents did run into severe rainstorms as they were driving through the Carolina's yesterday. Since the weather is terrible where we are, auntie Patti would not be stopping by today. We'll be just fine fur one day and we were well prepared when auntie left our home, last night. We wouldn't dare want our auntie driving in this kind of weather, nor ever expect it! She will be returning again tomorrow morning (Tuesday) and is planning on spending play time with us, as always. Oh, I furgot to mention that it's also "Bike Week" in Daytona and wow did my pawrents see several beautiful Harley Davidson's driving down the Coast. Mom even got several waves hello from the guys while they passed dad's SUV and of course, mom gave them a big smile and a waved hello back.

Our Pawrents Leave Fur Vacation Tomorrow Morning!

Tomorrow morning, meowmy and daddy are driving fur Florida. Unfortunately, the weather is suppose to be a wintry mix in our area and then a snow accumulations in North Carolina. They will be stopping several times as well as staying over night before making their destination to Florida. It's going to be a longggg drive but it's nice that they're getting away fur the week. We are also looking forward to auntie Patti coming over and taking care of us *chases tail* Mom has everything ready fur auntie as well as our things organized along with important phone numbers and the carriers. I'm sure that we won't be needing the carriers but mom feels better to have those in the laundry room just in case auntie does need them. Mom uses the jumbo soft Sherpa carriers since they're easier to to store away when not in use. It's always best to be prepared.

As fur packing... meowmy is just getting started. Yikes, meow about last minute *giggles* Actually, daddy is at his grammar school reunion with his furiend, Bobby so mom decided to get some things done around the home while daddy was gone fur several hours. He should be home shortly so mom best get started on packing. Most likely, daddy will do his first thing in the morning since he's quick at it. Mom is the one who takes furever packing but then again, don't most women?!?!

We would also like to wish our dear furiend, *MERCY* a purry Happy 8th Birthday tomorrow and many more wonderful celebrations to come *blows kisses*

Our Furiend, Missy Will Be Joining The Angels Today!

Today is a sad day because our sweet furiend, *MISSY* will be joining our brother, Picasso as he waits fur her with open paws at the Bridge. Missy has become more ill within a few days and her meowmy had no choice but to make the decision to send her to the Bridge today. As much as we find it difficult, there are times when our humans have no other choice but to say good-bye and that decision is never easy. Unfortunately, we never had a chance to say good bye to our beloved Picasso as he left us so suddenly but mom is grateful that she was there when he did passed away in his carrier on December 8th, 2008. Whether a pet passes suddenly or if it's a decision that is made by our humans, it is never easy and accepting it feels like an eternity. Missy's meowmy "auntie April" is doing what is best fur Missy and one day, we will all meet again. We just want Missy's family to know that she will be in purrry good paws at the Bridge and that my family is there fur her meowmy whenever she needs us. We are purrry sad right now and loved Missy dearly, but although she isn't going to be here with us physically on earth she'll be on our hearts and memories furever. Don't be afraid little girl because you have so many angels waiting fur you and God will make you well again so that you can play whenever you want to. Picasso even has a big basketful of mousies waiting fur you.

To April from Barbi: Dearest April, words can't begin to express how deeply sorry we are that Missy will be leaving us but know that she is in a wonderful place now and there will be no more suffering. This is NOT a forever good bye because one day when our time arrives, we will meet our beloved pets again. They are a creation from God and God makes all things possible. Please feel free to call me if you need someone to talk to and always know that I'm here for you day and night. Again I am very sorry and my thoughts are with you and your family...

We're All Ready Fur Clover Day To Arrive!

Today, meowmy spent most of the afternoon working on our St. Patty's Day pages. Our photos were taken a few days ago but mom chose not to post those until our pages were completes first. Meowmy and daddy also got their front load washer and dryer today (blue) and will be delivered this week or when they get back from Florida. Yes, they're going to Florida fur a little vacation next week and we're so excited because auntie Patti will be watching us while they're away. Auntie is also on vacation that week so that means she's going to stay with us *chases tail* mom may be taking a look at her Sony/Canon camcorder sometime tomorrow and she's seems to be leaning towards the Sony (hard drive) but not quite sure??? You know how meowmy's are *giggles* Daddy also got his new Stainless grill today and gave his previous Stainless one to his niece and nephew. Now we're just waiting fur the warmer weather to arrive so that daddy could cook us a pawsome fishie dinner. Maybe, just maybe auntie Sam & unkie Dan (Boogers) and auntie Joann & unkie Ed (Patchez) will come visit with us again this summer and daddy could grill them something special like Filet Mignon or whatever they like. Mom doesn't eat steak so she'll be quite happy with yummmy fishie just like us.

Today, our dear furiend, *HOOCH* was diagnosed with pancreatitis and he is in need of lots of purrrrs & purrayers right now. Please stop by to wish Hooch well and to give his meowmy some extra purrrs, too. There is nothing greater than the power of purrrs... Thank you!

Beautiful Valentine's Day Pressies From Karisma And Family!

This morning at about 7:00 am, meowmy and daddy got up early to do their weekly grocery shopping and then of course come home to put it all away. After shopping and relaxing, they stopped at BJ's Wholesale to get two 40 lb tubs of Fresh Step kitty litter and then off to Best Buy and Home Depot to look at LG front load washers & dryers. Daddy decided that it was time to purchase a new stainless steel grill at Home Depot since the one that he presently has is already 3 years old. That really doesn't sound old to me and since daddy took such pawsome care of it, it still looks new *silly daddy* As soon as he has the new grill assembled, he'll be picking it up which should be either tonight or tomorrow. I bet that daddy will make a yummmy fishie dinner fur us *dances up and down* Mom has also been looking at Sony & Canon Hard Drive Camcorders fur the past few days. What is it with mom and electronics? First a Canon DSLR Camera and now a Camcorder? She doesn't like her other one which is about 2 years old because she finds the "Mini DV" can be a pain at times. Actually, I think she's planning on putting us on video so does this mean that we'll be movie stars?

Yesterday afternoon before meowmy was getting ready fur work, we received a purrty pink envelope pawkage from my sister *KARISMA & FAMILY* Mom grabbed the camera and then proceeded to help us with opening it. Some of us were not in the photo session mood while the others didn't mind. Enclosed were so many pawsome pressies all wrapped beautifully in pink tissue and white ribbons. Not only were there gifties fur us but also fur our meowmy. Now let me tell you what we received: There was a really purrty Valentine's Day card with a white kitty on the front and such a nice saying inside. We received a pawkage of Smarty Cat catnip, 6 mousies (3-red & 3-pink), 2 crinkle balls, pawkage of 3 Petco catnip pink mousies, a nail file key ring with a pic of a kitty that looks just like Biscotti (mom could always use that) and a really cute sticker that is viewed on both sides which has a kitty that looks like Biscotti (seal Bi Color). Biscotti must be a pawpular kitty or something *giggles* Sorry we're a day late with posting but by the time mom got home from work last night, she was too tired to jump onto the computer to help us write diary entries. This morning, she and daddy had running around to do. Mom did have a headache earlier so decided to lay down fur about na hour after taking an Imatrex (fur migraines).

Thank you so much Karisma and family fur thinking of us and fur making our belated Valentine's Day extra special. This is so cool because since our gifties came a bit later in the month, we could celebrate Valentine's Day until the end of the month!

Karisma's brother, Hooch is still sick so please keep him in your purrayers. His mom is so worried as Hooch is showing signs of not wanting to eat and is breathing rather heavily. Also, our furiend, Sammy is back home from the hospital which his mom picked him up yesterday. Sammy is still purrry ill and does have Cardiomyopathy. Missy (Isis's sister) is still sick but has posted in her diary that she may be showing signs of improvement and ate lots of tuna today. We are always so happy to hear when a sick kitty is starting to feel a little better. Our purrrrs & purrayers are with Hooch, Sammy & Missy!

Just Dropping In To Meow Hello!

Not much is going on this morning... I will say that it is purrry windy as we're watching the trees blow. Mom is off today so she's going to do some things around the home as well as groom each of us. We all love getting brushed and even Kashy doesn't mind.

I do believe that meowmy wants to get started on Snowmitts' Birthday page soon as well as our St Patty's Day pages so maybe she'll do that later on this afternoon? Unfortunately, her stomach ulcers were bothering her throughout the night which is a purrry uncomfortable and painful feeling... Daddy is off today but with his job, he never knows if he'll be called in fur an emergency? Let's keep our paws crossed that he'll be spending the entire day with us *dances up and down*

Latest Update On Our Furiend, Sammy!

Our darling little furiend, *SAMMY* is still in the hospital receiving oxygen, triple the Lasix shots but no IV fluids. Sammy is also tinkling a lot which is normal from a result of the fluids which he received yesterday. Lasix shots will also cause a lot of pee pees because it's releasing the fluids from the heart and surrounding area. This is also a good sign as it shows that the IV fluids are exiting his body. With Cardiomyopathy, it is purrry important not to have a lot of fluids as it could and most likely will lead to heart failure. Unfortunately he still shows bad Pulmonary Edema right now (arteries carrying blood from the heart to the lungs). The heart is thickening seen in another x-ray which is what HCM does. Sammy perked up when he saw his meowmy and she even brushed him, which he seemed to have a positive response. His mom also put blankets on him while still on oxygen and he nuzzled his little face inside. When she returned to the room, he was still snuggled contently inside of the blankets. Sammy is finally getting rest and being on the oxygen is helping him to breathe better which makes him feel more comfy. Of course, he is still in critical condition so please continue to keep him and his meowmy in your purrayers. We are keeping our paws crossed that this little guy responds to his medications and will pull through this ordeal. His meowmy has been doing such a wonderful job and my mom has been there every step of the way to do whatever she can to help auntie Lauren through this. If anyone has experience with Cardiomyopathy, it's our meowmy since our beloved Picasso suffered from this unfair and progressive disease. We are so proud of auntie Lauren fur being such a pawsome mom and fur being there when her baby needs her most. She knew what to do as soon as Sammy was showing declining signs, last night. Mom just wishes that she lived closer so that she could be there physically fur auntie and fur Sammy but she is with them in thought and she's only a phone call away.

ANOTHER UPDATE: We also received disturbing news that our close furiend, *HOOCH* was diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism (Overactivity of the Thyroid Gland). He began throwing up so his meowmy took him to the vet's which there is where she received this upsetting news. Please stop by to send Hooch your purrrs & purrayers and to let his meowmy, auntie Joann know that you're thinking of them. Feel better soon Hooch and we love you purrrry much!

Our Furiend, Sammy Needs Your Purrayers!

Earlier today, we met a wonderful new furiend and his name is *SAMMY* Little Sammy, age 7 is a purrry sick kitty who was diagnosed with Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy just days ago. Picasso was also ill with this horrible and devastating disease. Unfortunately, there is no cure fur this Cardiomyopathy (HCM) as we all know that we lost our beloved Picasso to this. It would mean so much to Angel Picasso and to all of us if you would please keep Sammy in your purrayers. My meowmy was chatting with his mom (auntie Lauren) fur several hours tonight and she is such a lovely and caring person... While mom was chatting with her, Sammy suddenly began throwing up and fell to his side. His mom immediately rushed him to emergency which shows a responsible meowmy. Auntie Lauren just phoned several minutes ago and Sammy is on oxygen at the moment.

Mom Decided To Exchange Her Camera Fur a Canon DSLR!

After a week of using her new camera G10, meowmy really wasn't purry satisfied with the ISO speeds as it became higher as well as the continuous shooting mode was a bit slow which resulted in a loss of several cute photos. The Canon G10 is a wonderful camera and is between a point & Shoot and DLSR but just didn't perform as mom wanted. It was fine in the low ISO but not great for evening shots. Well, she and daddy decided to go to Best Buy again, return that camera since it was only a week and she upgraded to the Canon Rebel XSi-450D which is more advanced than the previous G10. The Rebel XSi has 12.2 megapixels which is a good amount fur printing large photos if she desires. Wow... what an amazing camera. It does cost a lot more but is well worth it, especially if it makes her happy. Believe it or not, the G10 being at the price of $500.00 wasn't cheap but then again, it's not a cheap camera at all and is made nicely. It's actually nice to carry around but mom wanted something more serious and it lacked some of the features she wanted *silly mom* The new Canon takes photos so quickly that we don't even have a chance to blink with the flash. Mom has sooooo much to learn since it also has a lot of manual modes, plus she can buy nice canon IS lenses separately to go with her new camera. The next thing on her list is a zoom lens but she'll wait a little while on that one. Yikes, I think she wants to zoom us in even closer *giggles* Tomorrow she'll be stopping by Barnes & Noble after work to get a book fur this pawticular camera. Just a lot of settings and different things to know right off hand. It will take some getting use to since it does have significant weight and now she looks through the view finder although you can still view on the back screen at the images being taken. She has been using that fur preview only and fur the menu settings. It's kinda heavy not to support it with both hands, plus you have to turn the lens to focus closer as well as further so it's best to have your hand under the lens for that reason. All DSLR have manual settings as well as auto but it's not the same as your point and shoot since it is more complicated, depending on the camera you get. Mom has always been a Canon girl but now she's a Rebel *giggles*

Other than than, nothing much going on. Mom is planning on going to bed a little early tonight since she had a long day. We would like to wish our dear kitty furiend, FIRE "ILM"* (Patchez family) a wonderful Birthday at the Bridge. Fire would have been 38 today. I do know that our bro, Angel Picasso took her out fur a purrry special crabcake lunch to help celebrate her Birthday. Fire's meowm, auntie JoAnn was on the phone with our meowmy today and she was purrry sad which we all understand how she feels. Fire has been an Angel fur a long time but it doesn't take away the love and sadness that her meowmy is feeling... Nothing will ever take away the pain when a beloved pet or person is taken away from us and that includes time. It may get easier to accept but the pain will be furever until we meet with them again in Heaven. We're thinking of you auntie JoAnn and we're always here fur you *blows kisses*

Today is a purrry special day because it's our brother, ASPEN'S* 4th Birthday celebration... Aspen is a wonderful brother and I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate today.

What A Weeked Fur Meowmy!

Well, meomwy's evening started out bad on Friday night after her Canon SD 850 IS camera dropped and lodged the zoom lens. It fell off of the condo tunnel onto the floor but who ever thought this would have ruined it. Mom was taking a few pics of the new clothes that she got fur us several hours earlier. Holy cats was she upset and her other Canon mentioned nothing about being compatible with Windows Vista, therefore that couldn't be used. Now she was out of a camera which is a BIG thing to meowmy. The following day she had to work as well as daddy but they were both off of Sunday which was good.

On Sunday mid morning, meowmy and daddy took a ride to look at some camera's and decided on Best Buy so that mom could also take out their Black Tie Protection Plan which covers any damages such as dropping, etc. She chose to get the 4 year instead of the 2. Mom chose the Canon G-10 model which is really nice. It also has a RAW mode fur when she was to do more thorough photo imaging corrections. It's more extensive that Photoshop which I'm sure will be a bit confusing fur her at first. It's a nicely built camera with a good weight to it as well (metal construction). Similar to an DSLR since it has the manual controls as well as the point and shoot option. It also has an amazing 14.7 megapixels which is great fur cropping as well as printing larger photos. She was looking at one with a furrtastic zoom lens but it didn't have the RAW option, which mom thinks would be more useful. Plus, most of our photos are portrait or Landscape anyway. Mom could always buy a separate Canon telescopic lens if needed.

Yesterday, our dear furiend, Missy was married to Mr Silk but unfortunately, meowmy was late coming home so she weren't able to attend their wedding. We do wish them all the purrry best and happiness and again, we apawologize to the beautiful couple fur not being able celebrate their special day with them. Mom did discuss this the night before with Missy's meowmy informing her of the camera situation.

Meomwy went to the dentist this morning to have her teethies cleaned and polished and to also have a complete set of x-rays done. She was told that she hasn't any cavities and everything looks purr-fect! Mom was so relieved to hear that after dealing with that meanie Root Canal adventure.

Now it's time to get use to the new photo contraption so you know what that means...

SNOW SNOW SNOW!

Late last night and early this morning, the snow began falling. We watched from the bedroom window throughout the evening hours, which is always enjoyable. Mom had to work earlier this morning and was anticipating whether or not to call out but chose to go in anyway since it did stop about an hour prior to her leaving. She drove purrry slowly and carefully as the roads were so messy as well as slippery on the back ones Mom arrived at work and after clocking in, her first words to her manager were "Good morning Shelah... if it's not busy today, may I please leave a little earlier?" Shelah's response was "If you want to leave now, you may since it's so slow." Mom was so excited and couldn't wait to get back home to us and into her comfy flannel PJ's. It usually takes her about 15 minutes each way to work but this time, it took about 40 minutes.

Later on when daddy came home from work, he lit the fireplace and we gathered around, watching it glow. My daddy, Monte has never seen a fireplace lit before so it was quite intrigued. He kept looking at it with amazement, and I even laid next to him at times. The fireplace is now just about finished of burning but it will be lit again, tomorrow. Daddy even made chicken cutlets, salad and veggies fur dinner. Yummmy!

Fur those kitties who are having this bad weather, please stay safe and warm and tell your pawrents not to drive if they really don't have to. It's presently raining which means that the roads will ice up tonight. Daddy and meowmy are both off tomorrow which we're looking forward to!

Check Out Our Valentine's Day Pages!

Meowmy decided to work on our Valentine's Day pages as well as our photos. Fur some reason or another, mom can't seem to find the Valentine's shirts that she purchased last year so instead, she used a purrrty neck collar, which was fine with us. Once in a while, things seem to go MIA in our home but eventually, meowmy does find it. Actually she is quite organized but sometimes things do get misplaced. Unfortunately, I don't yet have a special girl in my life to celebrate the Holiday with but then again, meowmy did make it clear that I'm still a little too young to date at the moment. Maybe in a few months I'll find a little kitten sweetheart.

This coming Friday at 4:30, daddy Monte and Cocoa will be going to the vet fur an exam and a Rabies shot. Dr Wray just fell in love with Monte and those full cheeks of his but then again, he loves all of us. This will also be my first Valentine's Day and I would have loved to spend it with my beloved angel brother, Picasso but I'm sure he knows how much we love and miss him *wipes eyes*

Daddy arrives back home tomorrow morning from the Hamptons, as he's doing a job there and it should be done within a month or two. If mom didn't have to work, she'd go there with him fur a few days but then again, since nothing is really opened this time of the year, it may be a bit boring. Hummm... that would have meant having our pawsome Auntie Patti stop by to take care of us. I just LOVE my auntie although there is nobody as wonderful as my meowmy *giggles* Auntie hasn't yet met Monte but she will.

Where Oh Where Did Our Catmas Tree Go???

We can't believe that our Catmas tree is suddenly MIA! I heard meowmy telling daddy that since now Little Catmas is over that she wants to put the Holiday decorations away. We were sleeping upstairs most of the day while meowmy was gathering all kinds of Catmas things and putting those away. Later on, we heard that meanie vacuum cleaner noise and noooo way were we attempting to go downstairs to see what was going on... After a few hours, we decided to venture downstairs and we discovered something purrry disturbing!!! Our Catmas tree in MIA and we have no idea where it went. We're thinking that pawsibly the Dyson vacuum ate it since it is a powerful contraption. What are we going to do? We just love laying under the tree and now it's not there *scratches head* Maybe we should we call Santa Paws to see if he knows anything about this mysterious disappearance? Other than that, nothing much has been going on. We do know that mom carefully packed up the Catmas stuff and daddy put it back onto the storage shelves in the garage. Come to think about it, we did hear a lot of noise coming from the attic shortly after the tree was suddenly missing. Do you... well, do you think that maybe it found it's way up there?

We hope that every kitty and their families are staying warm this winter. So far, we haven't had any snow, although they were calling fur it the other night. Basically, we have had a mild winter but mom really wants to watch some snow fall and we also love to watch it from the windows. Remember... winter isn't over yet!

Catgrats To Our beloved Picasso On His COTW Honor!

First of all, my family and I would like to send a purrrry special delivery catgrats to our bro, *PICASSO* up in heaven. Cassi has been chosen Cat Of The Week and this is an honor that he so well deserves. We all miss him terribly and it is still so difficult fur meowmy to accept as that's expected. Picasso was a super special boy and his beautiful memory will live on fur a lifetime. We love you little boy and we're so proud of you. There isn't a day that goes by that we're not thinking of you, sweetie and all of the joy that you have given us...

Tonight when meowmy came home from work, we smelled something purry delicious in the shopping bag. Guess what it was??? It was a family size rotisserie chicken that she got just fur all of us. The first thing she did was change into her PJ's and then it was feeding time. She carefully cut the chicken in small pieces and served it in each of our feeding bowls. Mom will only give us the white breast meat and believe it or not, that's the only thing that she'll eat when it comes to a chicken or turkey. She prepared yams, green beans and cranberry sauce fur herself and everyone was happy. Unfortunately, daddy had to go back to NY fur his job but will be returning back home this coming Friday. Mom took off the entire weekend to spend time with him. We're just glad that he's not in Alaska but then again, this job calls fur traveling so we never know.

I hope that everyone is having a wonderful New Year and we're looking forward to meeting new furiends this year. As we always meow, the more the merrier when it comes to furiendships.

It's Now Officially A New Year!

I would like to start my Diary entry off by wishing my family, furiends and their families a purry Happy, Healthy & Blessed 2009!

Mom did get her temp crown yesterday and she was feeling quite uncomfortable as still is in some pain. When Doc made the temp, he had to keep fitting it into her gum and it made that area so sore, not to mention those horrible big needles, especially in the roof of her mouth OUCH! She hates needles so Doc decided to do a sneak attack on the second injection and mom almost fell out of the chair. Her dentist is really nice and purrry purrsonable. She's just sore today but will be fine after a few days. Mom is also making a nice spiral ham dinner with mashed potatoes, fresh green beans. She even has a yummmy Cranberry/Orange bunt cake fur dessert.

Meowmy , daddy and unkie Dennis had a delicious New Year's Eve dinner last night at the Casino... Dennis has been furiends with meowmy fur 18 years and of course, daddy thinks that he's a super nice guy and that, he is. Unkie Den would do anything fur anyone and that's the kind of unkie that we're proud to have. He didn't have plans fur New Year's so meowmy & daddy thought it would be nice to have him join them fur dinner. Not only did unkie go to dinner with meowmy and daddy, but he even bought us a special shirt that reads "Elf In Training!" Now how pawsome is that?!?! It's a 12 month old size and fits us purrfectly although it's a little roomy on Cocoa but he surely does look cute!... Mom couldn't believe how well it fit me but then again, I'm getting purry big! This does means that we'll be helping Santa Paws out early this early this year and although we are in training, we kinda know what we're doing I think??? We'll be ok as long as we don't make a kitty toy that barks or chases bones *giggles*

It's Already New Years Eve!

First of all, my family and I would like to wish each of you and your families a purrrr Happy New Year! We have shared many joys as well as so many sorrows, with the passing of our beloved brother, Picasso being our most painful. Picasso brought so much love and joy into our home and he will sadly be missed by all of us. The 2 years 4 months that he did have with us were filled with love and Cassi knows that as he is looking over us each and everyday from Heaven. Our meowmy did a pawsome job with caring fur him and if it wasn't fur that wonderful love and devotion, Picasso would have never been with us as long as he was. I know that 2 years doesn't sound purrry long and it's not but fur as ill as he was with VERY severe Cardiomyopathy (HCM, he was with us longer than the doctor & Cardiologist expected. In our eyes, he was taken way too soon to a horrible and unfair disease. There are many kitties who live many years here on earth who don't have the love and the wonderful life that Picasso did. It's the quality of life, not the quantity that counts, although mom still doesn't accept the quantity part of it. She kisses his Cherrywood Urn chest every night before going to bed and there's always a tear in her eyes. We wish that we could take away this pain that is as strong as the day he was taken from us, but only time can help her accept it.

We also have had many joys such as Picasso celebrating TWO Birthday's which unfortunately, I wasn't here to celebrate and of course the new arrival of my super pawsome daddy and Picasso's daddy, Monte Carlo. I have met many new furiends in 2008 and I'm looking forward to a wonderful 2009. We hope that each and everyone of you have a purry Happy, Healthy & Blessed New Year and remember... appreciate each day that God gives you because it really is a true gift.

Mom has to get her temporary cap today on the root canal tooth and then later in the evening, meowmy and daddy will be going to the Casino fur a nice dinner and just spend quality time together. Most likely, we'll be sleeping but knowing meowmy, she'll call us at midnight and wish us a Happy New Year. She does every year from what I was told *giggles* Like we'll really be picking up the phone!

My Purry FIRST New Years Eve!

In just 4 days, we will be celebrating the New Year's Eve... Daddy is taking meowmy to the Borgata Casino Restaurant fur a nice quiet dinner at the Steakhouse and then they'll play their favorite slots. It has been a purry difficult and sad Catmas fur all of us since the passing of our beloved brother, Picasso but he will furever live on our hearts and memories. Mom has been a little behind with helping us to thank everyone fur our gifties & rosettes but please know that we appreciate your thoughtfulness and thank each and every kitty and their families fur your beautiful Holiday wishes.

Meowmy does want to help us with our New Year's pages within the next day or two but unfortunately, she has to go to that meanie place called "work" tomorrow so maybe Monday? She did change Angel Picasso's and it looks purrry nice.

My pawrents and Santa Paws were good to us this year. My pawrents gave us a Gift Card fur Petsmart (which they usually do fur our Birthday's as well). This way, we can get whatever we need such a food, treats, etc. Mom just bought a large bag of the Iams Dry food and several cases of Proplan cans. Santa brought us the PediPaws nail filer which we haven't yet used but we'll see how that works??? It looks easier than the nail clippers and the noise isn't bad at all.

Thanks again to all fur making our Holiday a little brighter and fur keeping us in your purrrs & purrayers during this difficult time. We are happy to have been blessed with Picasso's daddy and mine, Monte and I know this is making Picasso purrry happy as well. Daddy has settled in so well and is even becoming a meowmy's boy! Yup, he sleeps with her every night, along with you know who... ME. As fur Cocoa, he's been a bit jealous but he'll get over it, not to mention that mom has been giving him extra lovies. He has been with meowmy fur almost 14 years so they have a special bond of many years. Now Cocoa is what we would call a SUPER meowmy's boy *giggles* along with Aspen. Just in case you don't know this, Aspen and Cocoa are the purry bestest of buddies and guess what? They even share the same litter box and the same time. Please!!!!!!!!!!

By the way, Monte and I kept meowmy up most of the night with bringing her toys and lots of kneadies. Poor meowmy only got a few hours of sleep because of us but we couldn't help it because we love her soooo much!

Today Is My First Catmas Eve!

First of all, we would like to wish all of you and your families a beautiful Catmas Eve and Catmas. It has been a sad holiday fur us since we are not able to celebrate with Picasso. He use to love Catmas and all of the fun that it brought. Cassi may not be with us here on earth, but he will always live on in our hearts and memories and he has brought us wonderful memories. Merry Catmas Eve dear Picasso and we all love you purrry much *blows kisses to heaven* This is also a joyous Holiday because we are now blessed with Picasso's wonderful daddy, Monte Carlo. We know that Picasso is looking down with a smile, seeing that his daddy has a furever loving home and celebrating Catmas with his new and loving family.

Mom had made us a pawmise that today we would get to open our pressies that we received from our furiends. She would always have us open them as soon as they arrived but she felt that today would be best as it would help keep her occupied and that it did.

We started opening later in the morning and of course, taking photos and cleaning up, it took a good portion of the day. Mom still has to go through the pictures before posting but that will be done by this evening. We got such pawsome pressies and I can't wait to tell you all about it. Of course, my siblings (Snowmitts & Jaspurr) who received pawkages from their girls will be posted in their diaries and boy did they get cool stuff!

First we opened the pawkage from *BOOGERS & FAM* and enclosed was a big beautiful foil giftie bag along with a smaller gold bag. Enclosed in the large bag were so many neat things. We received a cute Santa card, Greenies, Cosmic Cat Tuna Flakes, Cat Crazies, Kitty Hoots catheads, Kooky Kat catnip budz, Catmas baggie containing 3 mousies (red sparkle, green sparkle & red/green fluffy), 2 furballs (green & red), 2- green sparkle balls, 2-green and red kitty tennis balls, can of Sheba, pawkage of 4-furballs (green red, yellow & blue), baggie of cherry chocolate Hershey kisses (fur mom). Inside of the gold gift bag was fur meowmy and there were 2-bars of handmade Organic Peppermint Oat soaps (auntie Sam's furiend makes) and mini size of Organic Patchouli Lotion Bar in a tin, a cute handmade silver star with a glass base holding up the star. There was also a little pink sachet bag and enclosed was a beautiful glass tear drop hanging from pink beads and crystals with two silver hearts inter wound together. It is absolutely stunning it was handmade by auntie Sam. Mom is going to find a purry special place to hang it.

Then meowmy helped *JASPURR* & *SNOWMITTS* open their pressies from their girls as well as *ASPEN* from his girl. You can read all about their pressies in their diaries since those gifts were specifically fur them. Talk about being spoiled *giggles* They really did receive pawsome things as well as our meowmy so please do check out to see what they got!

We then opened Catmas pressies from *CHLOE & FAM*"Picasso's fiancee" and she addressed it to all of us in "ILM" Of Picasso *wipes eyes* The pawkage was blue with Santa Penguins all over it. Wow, we got some really cool things but let me tell you all about those... Inside was a bag full of 13 toys. There was a Santa, feather wand toy, 2-sparkle balls, brown catnip pillow with a green polar bear, 4- brown furry mousies, 3-balls with bells and a pawkage of catnip. We also got a can of yummy FF Medleys food. there was a wrapped pawkage fur meowmy and inside was a purrty Catmas tree ornament of Las Vegas, along with a lovely white wooden handmade/painted kitty pin and on the attached paper reads "Picasso."

Last but not least, there was a pawkage from *KARISMA & FAM* and we couldn't wait to open that one either. Enclosed were lots of tissue wrapped pressies and some were even bubble wrapped. It took mom quite sometime to get everything opened *giggles* Mom is still impressed about how auntie Jo Ann was able to squeeze so many pressies in such a small box??? Each pressie had each of our names on it, but can't tell you exactly what each of the others received as I was too excited to begin opening mine. I do know that Monte got his purrry own Catmas stocking and I got a "Baby's 1st Christmas" ornament. Ok, time to describe our pressies... Monte's stocking is in the shape of a big fishie with a photo insert. It's blue with snowmen all over it with a red satin interior. My ornament is a cute frosted baby with a blue bell attached. We also got a Kirby stick, 2- refillable catnip mousies (green and leopard spotted) and smart cat Bonker balls. Auntie Jo Ann gave meowmy 2- beautiful silver photo frames, a cute paw print photo frame and a bottle of WoodWick home fragrance in the flavor of "Biscotti!"

Just a few days ago, mom received mail from Australia and it was from our dear furiends, *RIZZA & FAM* Enclosed was a beautiful silver dragonfly charm with multicolored crystal stones, along with a nice card and 2 postcards (postcard: "The Coastline" with Kangaroos and "The story of the Murray River.") Rizza's mom "auntie Deb had mentioned that Dragonflies are considered to be messages between worlds, (this one and the next). This has truly touched meowmy's heart deeply.

There's something else that we would like to mention... Auntie April & unkie Barry (*ISIS'* family) sent meowmy a purrty Christmas/Sympathy arrangement today. It was actually delivered yesterday but mom was at work so they couldn't leave it at the door. They redelivered it early this morning. The arrangement contains beautiful red carnations and white chrysanthemum with sprays of evergreen branches and a red velvet bow. It smells so divine like fresh cut Catmas trees and flowers. This helped to make meowmy's Catmas so special.

Thank you again to Boogers & fam, Chloe & fam and Karisma and fam fur the pawsome Catmas pressies to us and to our meowmy... Also, thank you to Rizza and fam and Isis and fam fur thinking of meowmy during this sad and difficult time.

I Have A New Unkie Bubby!

Yahhoooo daa dooo... I have a new unkie and his name is *BUBBY* and he even looks a lot like me. He e-mailed me last night at mom's regular address and mewod that he would like to be my unkie. I couldn't wait to accept the offer not only because he's so adorable but also because it is the most wonderful family. Jaspurr & Snowmitts and dating Bubby's sister's Aria & Bitta. This is so cool *chases fluffy tail* Thanks unkie Bubby fur making my Catmas and New Year so special and fur my purrty sparkling star.

This is going to be a sad Catmas fur meowmy because our beloved Cassi is not here to celebrate with us, nor will daddy be here because he has to work but on the other paw, it will be joyous because we are now blessed with Picasso's daddy, Monte. Everyday we thank Monte because if it wasn't fur him, we would never have been blessed with the love and joy of Picasso. God works in mysterious ways and everything happens fur a reason. Sometimes we may not understand or will question, just as mom did when she asked "why did Picasso have to leave us so young" but he does have a reason fur everything, although mom has not yet accepted it. We are grateful to God fur sending us Monte and fur giving us extra time with Picasso after his diagnosis in February 2006 with very severe Cardiomyopathy. I'm so honored to be the half brother of Picasso and the loving son of daddy Monte. I am also blessed with my lovely siblings Karisma (Patchez fam) and PorkChop (Boogers' family). There is always sadness along with happiness but sometimes we just don't understand the sadness part and we never will...

I do know that we're all excited to be opening our pressies from our besties in just a few days and this will help bring a smile to mom's face. The pawkages are in the bedroom just waiting to be opened but of course we do have to wait and understand and respect mom's reason. Normally, our pawkages would have been opened as they arrived but with the recent passing of Picasso, meowmy wanted to wait on Catmas Eve.

Thank You Fur Your Catmas Pawkages & Cards!

Within the week, we received Catmas pawkages but not yet have opened those. We are purrry excited and so grateful but I think that mom wants to wait until Catmas Eve since she is off from work (that's her next day off). Mom has never had off on Catmas Eve and this is the first time in 19 years. This has also been a purry sad time fur meowmy since it's so close to the Holidays and that our beloved Picasso never got to celebrate it with us *wipes eyes* Mom is having a difficult time with this and I think that she wants to wait until Catmas Eve because it will help make her smile, watching us with our pressies. She has always enjoyed helping us open mail and this is something that she needs right now. Daddy also got a call from work and they need him to fill in next week which means that most likely, he won't be home fur Catmas. He is a Safety Supervisor and is on call when needed. We thank the cats that at least it's not Alaska. Sometimes our pawrents encounter situations with work that there is no control over and this is one of those unfortunate situations. That is why it is also important to meowmy that we open pressies on Catmas Eve. We will be sure to take lots of photos as well as do our diary entries. We have received lots of beautiful Catmas cards, which meowmy has displayed on the dining room server.

My Daddy & Picasso's Is Now Part Of Our Family!

Holy kittens... guess what??? My daddy, MONTE CARLO* is now living with us and I am so excited. It does seem that Snowmitts & daddy Monte have become besties but that's ok because no matter what, I'm still his biological son, just like Picasso. We are all so happy that daddy is now part of the family and he will have such a wonderful life with all of us. It's like a special gift from Picasso and it's something that he would have wanted and I know that he's looking down, holding a mousie. Not only is Monte my daddy but he's also the daddy of my little sister, Karisma (Patchez fam) and PorkChop (Boogers' fam). As soon as you look into his big blue eyes, you see part of Picasso and that's what so precious. My pawrents are right when they say that Picasso's legacy will live on through daddy Monte. Now we could see where Picasso got those stunningly handsome looks from!

Our Brother Picasso Is Now An Angel!

We are so sad right now as we have learned that my 1/2 brother brother, Picasso has gone to Rainbow Bridge on December 8, 2008 at the young age of 2 years. He was such a wonderful brother and fought until the end with Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy. He passed away due to CHF which led to a sudden heart attack. Picasso was diagnosed in February of 2007 with VERY severe Cardiomyopathy. He was on many medications daily and continued to fight this horrible and deadly disease. Unfortunately, his heart was too enlarged and damaged to continue the fight. He passed away peacefully while leaving the vet hospital on his way to going back home. We were not expecting this at all and are in shock. Mom is not at all accepting this and has been crying since last night. Daddy was purrry emotional when he heard the news last night and has been calling mom to check on her. Unfortunately, daddy was away on business when Cassi passed away. We have been looking fur Picasso in hopes that he'll return but mom explained that he's now an angel and will not be coming back home *wipes tears* We are also having a hard time accepting that our Cassi is no longer with us. Mom did everything she could to help Picasso up until the very end and will always cherish the great joy that Picasso brought into our lives. Each and everyday that he had with us was a true blessing and to this moment still is and always will be.

We love you little brother and miss you dearly... Please find peace in Heaven and know that we're always thinking of you.

Mom Took More Catmas Photos Today!

Holy kittens and caboodles... meowmy decided to take more photos today since she wasn't too fond of the green cloth in the previous ones. I thought that they looked just fine but nope, not fur meowmy *giggles* We were all purrrrrrry good and even Kashmere posed without rolling in a ball or running away. Afterwards, we each received some yummmy kitty cod fur being such troopers. Mom decided to get Kashy a new Mrs Claws Catmas outfit so now she looks similar to us, except fur she has a black bow and pufffy skirt where ours has a buckle. Auntie Hazel Lucy sent me a special p-mail telling me that she doesn't think it's legal to be as cute as I am! I just love my auntie so...

Daddy left fur Long Island, NY early this morning fur a week and of course, we'll all miss him. Mom goes back to work tomorrow which she wishes she was off another day but hey, at least she got to spend 3 days off in a row with us.

Hope all is having a pawsome week so far and be sure to keep nice and cozy during this cold weather. Mom is planning on lighting the fireplace in a little while and settling in watching some lifetime movies with a cup of tea. Yippeee... I'm Today's DOTD!

Holy kittens and caboodles... I'm today's DOTD and I can't begin to meow how excited and honored I am. Yesterday, daddy took meowmy out to look at Laptops and she decided to get the Toshiba since that's what she had before and was purrry satisfied with it. She wanted a new one with Windows Vista (just like our desktop) instead of the Windows XP which her previous laptop has. The new one is a purrrty medium gray with darker gray swirls and has 4 GB of memory, webcam and picture identifier fur security login. After they left Best Buy, meowmy and daddy had a nice quiet lunch at Applebees and then headed home. When they arrived back at the house, mom wanted to set everything up which wasn't bad but at the same time, had a major headache. She slept in this morning until she was feeling much better. Then she had to set daddy up with the other laptop *giggles* Mom did say that we have to wait fur Santa Paws to bring our pressies on Catmas Day!

Unfortunately, daddy has to go away on business tonight fur a week in Long Island NY but mom prefers that over Alaska and so do we... Hopefully, the week will pass quickly and he'll be home before we know it?

OMC... not too long ago when daddy brought in the mail, there was a purrty paisley pawkage just fur us and it was from our dear furiends, Mercy & Family... Mom helped us open it and enclosed were really cute Easter bunny ears and a beautiful Thanksgiving card with little pilgrim bunnies on the front and it was addressed to the entire family. Mercy wanted to send the ears early just so we have them fur when Easter arrives. She knew that last year mom pasted ears on us so she just wants us to have the real thing this time *sending kisses*

Thank you so much Auntie Janet and family fur thinking of us and fur always being so kind and th0ughtful... Now we can't wait until Easter hops by so that we can put on our new & pawsome bunny ears but mom won't allow to wear them until Easter... That means that every kitty will just have wait to see us dressed up as the Easter Kitties!

Getting Ready Fur Catmas & Santa Paws!

Today is a chilly, rainy and dreary day here in Souther New Jersey and I don't think that the sunshine will be showing itself anytime soon. Well, as you can see, our Catmas pages are now up and we're even dressed in our Santa outfits and Kashmere is wearing her beautiful Catmas dress. Mom can't believe how quickly the Holidays are approaching and there's still so much to do. She spent several hours last night working on our pages. After all, we do have a big furrry family! What makes this Holiday Season even more exciting is that it's my first Catmas & New Year's *chases fluffy ball*

Meowmy is off fur the next few days so she's going to start getting things ready fur Catmas. Our tree was put up the day before Thanksgiving as well as the home decorations and outside lights. I have a sneaky suspicion that daddy may be taking mom out today to look at Laptops and then he'll let Santa know which one she likes... Hummmm, I wonder if she'll get her present a little early this year? Does that mean Santa Paws will also bring our gifties early as well? I doubt it purrry much but that's ok because we can wait until Catmas. I think humans are more anxious than we kitties are but then again, I don't know about that *giggles*

Hope all of you are having a pawsome Sunday and staying nice and toasty. Well... those who live in the cooler climates of course. I think my pawrents will light the fireplace later on since it is now that time of year.

Happy Thanksgiving To All!

Holy kittens... it's here... it's here... Turkey Day has finally arrived! Unfortunately, meowmy has to work until 6:15 this evening but daddy did say that he'll bring home a "turkey bag" fur all of us from his niece's. Meowmy and daddy are both off tomorrow so they plan on just relaxing and may be going out to lunch.

Yesterday, mom left work a little earlier because part of her temporary filling came out from the root canal so she made an emergency visit to the dentist fur him to add some more. Unexpectedly, he decided to go ahead and start with the post (prior to the crowning procedure). The posting was suppose to be done on December 9th but since everything looked good, he decided to start it a little early. She wasn't feeling purrry comfortable last night and took a long time to eat her pasta at the restaurant. Mom's tooth feels like when a filling hits tin foil because the post is titanium and the permanent filling is metal. It goes through her whole mouth, but with time, she'll feel better. At least she's now only 2 visits away from her completed root canal therapy!

Oh, I furgot to mention that as soon as mom came home from the dentist, she noticed that daddy had hung the outside Catmas lights. That made her feel a little better... Dad knew how much work she did with the tree and home, so he wanted to make everything complete. It's little things such as that which makes meowmy so happy!

May all of you have a wonderful TURKEY DAY and don't furget to meow fur some extras. We can't wait until daddy brings home our goodies this evening. As fur meowmy, she'll be eating cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes and stuffing. She doesn't feel comfortable yet eating turkey since she just visited with Mr Dentist yesterday. She already has a nice pumpkin pie waiting in the frig (with whipped cream)!

****UPDATE**** Meowmy ended up stopping by daddy's niece's fur Thanksgiving dinner... She was a bit tired after working, but since daddy really wanted to spend Thanksgiving with her as well, she decided to meet him there. Dad's niece only lives about 5 minutes from our home so that's not too bad. About an hour later, meowmy & daddy left together fur home. Mom had escarole soup, stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce and a tiny bit of turkey all cut up with gravy. Thankfully, her root canal didn't bother her much but then again, she ate on the opposite side.

Mom will be helping us with our Catmas pages as soon as she gets a chance, which hopefully will be this weekend... Unfortunately, mom does have to work the weekend but she will do her best. Hopefully, all of my beautiful furiends and their families had a beautiful and blessed Thanksgiving with lots of delicious food. Mom even brought us home a container of turkey which was purrry thoughtful, as usual.

Our Catmas Tree Is Now Decorated!

Early this morning, daddy and meowmy went our fur breakfast and then shortly after arriving back home, mom decided to put up the Catmas tree. Holy kittens... she started shortly after 7:00 am and didn't get done until noon. She even has the rotating stand which she's always enjoyed. As fur us, we love to lay under it and just watch it go around and around. Then mom put all of the other home decorations up as well which took several more hours. Daddy will be doing the outdoor lights, tomorrow sometime while mom is working. She loves to come home and see the purrty Catmas lights all lit up. The tree looks so purrty. unfortunately, meowmy couldn't find her tree skirt from last year, which we think the tree skirt thief took it so she had to stop by the mall to buy another one. Oh, I was curious with the tree at first but then it wore off after a little while of investigating. Who says that I won't be curious again tomorrow *giggles*

Mom went to the eye doctor's yesterday and he said to use special prescription antibiotic drops once daily along with warm compresses 6x daily to see if this helps her condition. If the Chalazion doesn't subside, than she'll need surgery on December 10th. She is not to wear her contacts fur 10 days which she hates that idea but it's doctor's orders. As fur the dental visit, that went well and Mr dentist said that the pain should be going away soon and what she is experiencing is normal. Her next appointment fur the root canal post is December 9th

In just a few days is Turkey day and I can't wait fur daddy to bring home goodies from his niece's. Unfortunately, mom has to work so she won't make it fur dinner.

Earlier today, Spunky made his journey to Rainbow Bridge and our thoughts & purrayers are with him and his family during this sad time!

Mom Got Our Catmas Outfits Today!

Today, meowmy got our Catmas outfits but we can't tell you until you see us all dressed up. I also got the same one but only smaller. Guess what? I'm actually a dog size small which is from 7-12 pounds! Holy kittens am I growing!!! Mom better take my photo soon before I outgrow my new Catmas attire! Mom is so excited to get us ready fur the Holidays and what makes it even more special is that it's my FIRST CATMAS!

Actually, meowmy is planning on Catmas decorating either early this week or towards the end of the week and of course it's daddy's job to get everything down from the attic & garage *giggles* Last year, meowmy purchased a large pre-lit 7-1/2 foot blue spruce tree and the diam is 65" We're not sure how baby Cannoli will react with the tree but mom refuses NOT to have one as she's had a tree every single Holiday and believes that decorating the home (inside and out) adds such beauty to the Holiday and warms the heart. We usually have the fireplace burning every night during the winter months as well, but now mom is talking about pawsibly converting it to gas as it will make things a bit easier and it just as purrty.

On Monday at 11:00 am, meowmy has to go to the special eye doctor/surgeon because she has a Chalazion (bump) in her eye lid so she wants it removed if pawsible. It really isn't all that noticeable but she knows it's there and that of course bothers her. That's not all... If her root canal toothie (4th tooth from the front) isn't feeling any better, she'll be visiting the dentist either later on Monday or early Tuesday since she's off. Our pawrents are both off on Black Friday but plan on staying in since that's the worst shopping day of the year and traffic will be a nightmare. They feel it's not worth saving a few dollars here and there when having to deal with those horrible crowds and traffic! Friday may be the best time to do the Catmas decorating?!?! Mom has been hinting around to Santa fur a new Laptop and will give daddy her present one (Toshiba) which is 3 years old and operates on Windows XP). She likes Windows Vista and has been researching the Dell XPS series, Sony Vaio and Toshiba. She still wants to do more research before making any decisions. We do have the HP Multi-Media desktop and my pawrents are purrry pleased with it. Mom hasn't really researched the HP laptops yet.

Oh no... Meowmy found a new song to go with my dance video! Actually, I'm still waiting fur "Dancing With The Stars to contact me?!?!

I Was The Plumber's Helper Today!

Guess what??? I was helping out the Plumber today and did such a pawsome job! At noon, meowmy had to go to work and daddy was expecting the Plumber to arrive sometime in the afternoon to fix the running toilets. What I can't understand is where were they planning on running to *giggles* Well, daddy was home while the toilets were being fixed and I couldn't wait to introduce myself so I decided to jump on the plumbers lap while he was fixing the downstairs toilet (caulking around the edge) and start purrring away. Of course, dad tried keeping me in the bedroom so that the Plumber could do his job but that didn't work because as soon as the door opened leading to the bedroom, there I was looking fur Mr Plumber again. He was telling daddy what a great helper I was, not to mention that I was such a cute and furiendly kitty. I kinda think that maybe daddy was thinking I'd be in the way and he didn't want me to get hurt or anything. Well, come to find out, I helped the Plumber fix the running toilets and now they won't be going anywhere anytime soon. Daddy said something about them running meaning the water in the tank but I really think that he was afraid that they'd disappear in the middle of the night. Oh no, that would have meant that meowmy and daddy would need to use our kitty boxes right?!?! We're so happy to hear the all of the toilets are now in purr-fect condition and mom doesn't have to wiggle the handles to make them stop running. At first, dad thought that we may need all new fixtures which wasn't a problem but everything is in excellent condition and just needed some adjusting and caulking.

Mom is still in pain with that meanie Root Canal because of those big needles, yesterday, but she did sleep comfortable last night after taking her evening pain medication (Percocet), as well as Ibuprofen during the day. She'll be taking antibiotics fur 10 days (every 6 hours) and will be returning fur the crowning procedure on December 9th. Mom doesn't think that the next visit will be as painful since the nerve is no longer in the tooth. My furiend, Margo p-mailed me and is all excited because mom is getting a crown which will then make her a queen!

Turkey Day is Approaching!

What is this that I'm hearing about turkeys and Thanksgiving??? This is my first one so I really don't know what it's all about. I have been told that we will be receiving yummmy food and to also be grateful fur everything that we have and to keep those who are not so fortunate, in our thoughts & purrayers.

I guess you have heard that Im a meowmy's boy??? I follow her around like a puppy dog, whatever that may be and I love when she holds and cuddles me. I jump into the bed in the evening when I know she's getting ready with her cup of tea *giggles* Where am I in the morning? Yup, right next to mom. I do tend to float around during the late hours but do find my way back to mom. Daddy usually gets up at about 5:00 am to feed us while mom is still on bed, dreaming away... Please don't get me wrong, as I love my daddy purrry much but I'm more of a meowmy's boy, at least fur now.

This afternoon, my pawrents went to Tony Lukes fur lunch. Mom had an "Eggplant Italian" sandwich, which has cheese and broccoli rabe and daddy had a meatball sandwich. They also had yummmy bacon ranch fries to go with their delicious lunch. Tonight, mom is taking her sister (Auntie Lillian) out fur her Birthday dinner to the Olive Garden and she's also giving her a purrty Yankee candle gift set. Mom and Auntie Lill like to go out to dinner at least every other week and then walk around the mall with a cup of coffee, shopping! I wonder why they never take us along?

Check Out My "Imagination/Dancing" Video!

Holy kittens... did you check out my new videos that mom captured? Since I arrived home, I seem to like getting on my hind quarters and start moving my front paws around like I'm trying to play with something that's not there. It's kind of like an "imaginary furiend" or even getting down to boogie *giggles* I have done this right out of the blue on many occasions. Early this morning, daddy caught me doing my cool moves on the landing of the stairs and then not too long ago this evening, I was doing it in the window when daddy saw me again and began laughing. Mom took a video clip of me on the dining room table late this afternoon showing off my skills. I know... I shouldn't be on the table but mom had to take a video and heck, we're not dirty anyway. Sometimes she'll wave and talk to me which will then get me started. There are lots of times when it just happens and I'll get on those hind quarters and boogie away all on my own with no enticement from a hand wave. Mom has never seen any of my siblings do this and as a matter of fact, she has never seen anything like this at all! She thinks that maybe my mind is playing kitty games and I'm seeing things like floating fishies or something and I'm trying to catch them? If our humans can have a fun imagination than why can't kitty cats have one, too?!?!

Yippeee Doodles... Daddy Is Home From Alaska (part#2)!

My daddy met me fur the first time at about 10:30 am and he fell in love with me immediately, which we expected *giggles* He gave all of us a big kissie hello. After my pawrents went out to breakfast, daddy took a nap and I snuggled right next to him, letting out super loud purrrrrrrs. I'm happy to have such a super daddy and I love my pawrents bunches... Daddy also brought meowmy home a really nice Harley Davidson black sweat shirt and on the front, it reads "Harley Davidson" and a beautiful silk screening of a big polar bear and Eagle on the back that reads "Home Of Harley-Davidson Anchorage Alaska." That wasn't all... She also got a really cute pewter keyring of a polar bear and his legs move back and fourth *giggles* Awwww, that was so sweet of daddy. He explained to mom that there were no baby Harley Davidson shirts that would have fit us (too large) and of course, no pet stores. That's ok because he will make up fur it with lots of lovies. There is noting more valuable than the love from pawrents.

I'm Meeting Daddy Fur The First Time, Today (part #1)!

*chases tail* Today is the big day that our daddy comes home from Alaska. He was there this time fur almost 7 weeks and I know that my siblings & meowmy have missed him purrry much. I'm anxious fur him to meet me fur the first time and I can't wait to meet him! Also, meowmy has a meanie Upper Respiratory Infection so now the six on the 6 day pack antibiotics and something to help the congestion. She noticed the other day that she felt fluid in her chest area so decided to go to the doctors right after work, yesterday. Thankfully she did so that she can't start feeling better. the change of weather doesn't help.

I would also like to wish my brother, Aspen and his beautiful girl, *MURPHY* a Happy 1st Annifursary and many more. They surely are a fluffy and adorable couple. I don't know much about Annifursaries, but I do know that Aspen is purrry happy today so it must be a good thing!

I'm Officially 16 Weeks Old!

On November 1st, I officially turned 16 weeks old... I have been having so much fun in my new home and I just love my meowmy and siblings bunches. I still sleep with meowmy every night and then in the early morning, I'll snuggle closely to her face and fall asleep. As soon as I get ready fur beddie pie in the evening, I like sleep on daddy's pillow *giggles* I am so excited to be meeting him fur the first time on Wednesday when he comes home from Alaska *chases tail* I know that he's going to love me lots and wow, wait until he sees how cute I am. By the way, I'm growing like a wildflower and boy can I eat up a storm!

I have mastered the Ragdoll flop just like Jaspurr does while meowmy is holding me. Suddenly, I'll go limp and resume my Ragdoll position... I do enjoy being held and mom even rocks me like a little baby, not to mention, enjoy laying onto of her while she's relaxing downstairs on the sofa, watching Lifetime or something.

I would also like to wish my darling sister, Karisma and half bro, PorkChop a Happy 16 week Birthday. Also, catgrats to my dear furiend Pebbles and to Mittens fur being chosen today's DDP!

Wishing All A SPOOK-tacular Halloween!

Tomorrow is my purry FIRST Halloween and I think it's so much fun. This is actually one of mom's favorite Holidays not to mention the trees changing such beautiful colors. Mom has several errands to run in the morning, but if it's not too chilly, she plans on taking us fur a stroll before all of the little humans come out to go "Trick-or-Treating." Mom's mouth is feeling a bit better after the dentist started root canal on Monday but she still has to go back on November 17th to have it completed and then after that, the crowning. Poor meowmy... she was in such pain the first few days. She's not too fond of the dentist to begin with and those needles, furget it! As fur teeth cleaning, she doesn't mind that at all. The dentist said that a filling had fallen out without mom's knowledge and that's why she ended up having to get a root canal. By the time she felt severe pain, it was already too late but she wanted to save her toothie! Hummm... I never heard anything about kitties needing a root canal?!?! Actually, I still have my baby teethies and I have proven so by chewing things around the home *giggles*

Guess what??? Daddy comes home on Wednesday and we are so excited. He called mom this afternoon with the pawsome news and wait until he gets to meet me. Little does daddy know that I like to sleep all sprawled out on his pillow. That means dad needs to make extra room at night fur me, as I do enjoy ruling the bed.

Jazzi Is Now A Beautiful Angel!

Just moments ago, we received the most upsetting news that our dear furiend, *JAZZI* crossed the Bridge at 4:00 pm this evening at the age of 19... Mom is having a purry difficult time helping me write my Diary entry, as she is in tears right now. As you know, Jazzi lost her sight just recently and was so scared and confused as a result. Early this morning, she was rushed to emergency for Oxygen assistance but wasn't strong enough to pull through. We didn't know Jazzi purrry long but we felt as though we've known her a lot longer than we did. She was a strong girl and such a fighter and her pawrents were there fur her every step of the way like caring and loving pawrents always are. We wish that we could be there fur them right now, giving each a hug of support but I know that they feel us with them in thought and purrayer. Unfortunately, Jazzi is no longer with us in this world but she's now in a place that she will understand and regain her health and sight. She won't be confused anymore and she'll be meeting so many wonderful and new furiends, not to mention having the sun shine brightly each and everyday. It is never easy to say good-bye but when the time comes, our pawrents need to make the decision fur us and they know what's best fur us. We love you Jazzi and will miss you purrry much but you'll furever live in our thoughts and in our hearts

Today Is My FIRST DDP Honor!

Holy Cannoli Mannoli... I'm today's DDP *chases feathered mousie* and what makes it super special is that it's my first honor since I've been on catster. Mom has a headache as a result from sleeping on her neck the wrong way throughout the night. Actually, we weren't on the puter at all early this morning until about a half hour ago. A few minutes after mom woke up, Auntie Jo Ann (Karisma's mom) called to let us know about my DDP honor. Mom was so excited since this is my FIRST honor and so an I! She's off today and plans on spending the afternoon with all of us. Last night after work, she even made a big witch pot of homemade chicken soup which took several hours but it surely smelled delicious. Mom just wishes that daddy was home from Alaska to share it with her but hopefully sometime next week, depending how quickly the job gets completed?

Today is such a gorgeous day so mom has the main front door open so that we can look out, watching the landscapers... It feels purrry good to have the sun shining through the glass right where I'm flopped and relaxed *giggles*

I've Turned Into A BIG Orange Pumpkin!

Holy kittens and caboodles, I'm a kitty pumpkin *giggles* Meowmy was off today so decided to do some photography, as you can tell! The costume makes us look super small or does it make us look extra big? Actually, it's an x-small but it's made super duper pufffy. I'm already outgrowing mine since last week!!! I had before my brothers since Target no longer had mediums left for them so she had to order theirs from a Pet Specialty place online. Even Target.com was out of the medium and mom checked out 3 different Targets in the area. I have to meow that we were all good, dressing up fur mom, as well as our sister, Kashmere. Of course she wasn't doing cart wheels but she was cool. Mom spent most of the day taking our pictures and working on our Halloween pages...

I'm Officially A BIG Mommy's Boy!

Yup, you've heard correctly... I love being with my mom and I faithfully sleep next to her or on the pillow every night. Early in the morning if she wakes or turns, I'll suddenly nuzzle my face in her neck or rest my face on her face letting out loud purrrrs. I even give sandpaper kisses on her nose and then she'll begin to giggle. I'm so happy to be with the bestest family in the whole wide world and I'm blessed that mom chose me to be her son. I can't wait until daddy comes home from Alaska in a few weeks so that he could finally meet me *chases tail* I hope that he knows I'm a big mommy's boy but then again, I may be a daddy's boy, too. Mom is curious if I'll snuggle with him at night as well. Hummmm... we'll just have to see won't we?!?!

Hope that every kitty is having a pawsome weekend and guess what? Mom is going to be working on our Halloween photos and pages, tomorrow. Yikes, I think that means dressing up and wait until you see our pawsome costumes! Shhhhhh... not allowd to tell as it's a surprise.

I Had My Vet Check-Up Tonight!

Originally, my vet appointment was this coming Thursday, but the vet had an availability fur this evening with Dr. Wray at 5:30 pm. As soon as mom walked into the office, all of the girls couldn't wait to hold me as they were expecting me. They're all so sweet and made a big fuss over me and I just soaked it in with lots of purrrrs while being snuggled in their arms. It was then time to be weighed and I'm now a whopping 5.2 pounds of love *giggles* Dr. Wray was telling me how stunningly beautiful I am *blush* He also said that it looks as though I'm going to grow into a large kitty. Hummm... it must be the way Snowmitts is training me. I got a thorough exam and I'm the picture of purr-fect health and even received my rabies shot. My temp is down and my lungs and heart sound purrry good. After the exam, mom took my photo with Dr. Wray and he's so nice and never once hesitates to have our photos taken with him. As we were getting ready to leave, Dr. Wray's comment to all of us was "Cannoli is purrry independent with men and it's either his way or the highway" (with a smile). I think that he was trying to say I'm a mommy's boy, which may have something to do with my running back to mom after the exam?!?!

I would like to thank each of you fur all of your purrrs, purrayers, gifties, rosettes & p-mails during my kitty cold recovery... It helped tremendously and I love all of you dearly.

My sister, *KARISMA* still has a slight fever and will be on antibiotics fur several more days. It would mean so much if you could please stop by to send her some "Get Well" wishes *crosses paws*

Having Fun With My Siblings!

Tonight celebrates 24 hours since I've been out of the bedroom and with my siblings. I'm also finished of my yukkky Clavamox which is certainly something to celebrate *chases tail* It has been a long 10 days being without my siblings but since I was sick with a bad kitty cold, there was no other choice.

Well... mom got a good night sleep, last night and i even slept with her all night long. She thought that I would keep her up with my siblings but nope. We are all getting along nicely and I even brought Picasso one of my little furry mousies. He did have a little catitude tonight (just a small growl) but mom had a talk with him and explained that we must all get along and to be a nice boy. She said it calmly but at the same time, looking directly into his big blue eyes. Moments later, I passed him again, this time with a mousie and dropped it by his paws. He looked at me, gave me a brief nose kissie and then mom gave him some treats and raved about what a good boy he was. All he needed was a little reassurance and as we all know, Picasso is a super special boy and loved dearly by our entire family and he knows that. Mom will let us know if we did something that wasn't nice but she will NEVER raise her voice and scream at us. She has always believed that speaking with a civil tone along with eye to eye contact is the key and she's right. We are all getting along great and have been playing off and on all day long. Actually, we all got along nicely as soon as we were introduced, last night. Of course, there will be little disagreements here and there but we'll work it out as kitties always do. Sometimes meowmy has to be the referee *giggles*

I Have Officially Been introduced To My Siblings!

Since I only had another day left of Clavamox and my sneezing has subsided, mom decided to introduce me to all of my siblings not too long ago. OMC, they are gigantic, especially compared to me!!! To be honest, I think that I liked it better when I was isolated with meowmy but it's too late now and sooner or later, this introduction had to take place. As soon as she opened the door, all 5 of my Raggie siblings waltzing into the bedroom, one by one. The first to introduce himself was Aspen and wow, he's so sweet. I gave the Halloween cat look with my fur standing up and my tail busy like a squirrel but that didn't seem to intimidate any of them. There was some hissing on my part but then again, I had to pretend that I was a tough little guy *giggles* Snowmitts has been trailing me around everywhere and won't leave my side. I'm not use to that but he seems to think that it's cool and with time, I'm sure that I'll get use to it. Picasso was purrry quiet and just minded his business as with Jaspurr doing the same thing. Biscotti just looked at me, gave me a few sniffs and laid down in the middle of the floor. I must tell you that my siblings have not at all hissed but I can't say the same about me. It will take some time getting use to all of this but deep down inside, I know that my siblings love me and we'll soon get along just fine. I'm sure that mom won't get much sleep tonight with all of the running around but that's what having a new baby is all about...

By the way, my brothers love to chase me all over the place but it's all out of fun and there is not hissing nor growling involved. Hummm, this maybe loads of fun after all. I will keep you posted on any updates. I still plan on napping with meowmy tonight providing that my siblings won't keep me up *giggles*

My Kitty Cold Update And I Have A New Unkie!

This morning, meowmy had to be in work at 7:00 am which is purrrry early fur her. That meant taking my Clavamox early as well. Yukkky...I don't like but I have been a good boy with taking it. Right afterwards, mom will feed me either breakfast or dinner which is always big plus. I'm on Clavamox 2x daily and will be taking it until next Monday which is my last day *counts down the calendar* I've been sneezing less but I still do sneeze more than I should at the moment. Mom has to keep me confined in her bedroom until I'm better but she did sneak me out only a few times to take some quick photos while my siblings were no where in sight which was only a minute or so. Then... back to the room I went.

I'm such a sweet and loving kitty who constantly snuggles with meowmy and smothers her with lots of nose kisses and kitty kisses. When it's time to go night night, I'm right next to her and don't leave her side unless getting something to eat or use the litter box.

Guess what??? I have a furr-tastic new unkie and his name is *SPOT* and wow, I feel so honored. My family just adores all of them and mom enjoys talking to our auntie Cai who is so sweet and nice to chat with... Thanks again unkie Spot fur wanting me to be your little nephew *blows kisses*

Today I Received A Fun Toy!

First of all, I would like to thank my auntie Hazel Lucy fur thinking of me and adding me to her "Purrr List" until I'm feeling better. This is now a full day that I've been taking my Clavamox and I have 9 more long days to go *kitten hisss* Mom makes sure that she gives it to me when I'm half sleepy so that i don't think about it but little does she know, I'm a smart little guy!

Earlier today, mom's furiend, Karen (*PRINCESS*) stopped by to meet me fur the first time and also brought me a cool toy. It's called a Bug Chaser which is similar to the ball track and even has fun things to play with sprouting up from the center. I played and played until it actually tuckered me out. That was so sweet of her to bring me something special and to welcome me to my new and furever home. Thanks again auntie Karen fur stopping by. Meowmy and auntie Karen even took my Raggie siblings strolling to get some nice fresh air which they enjoyed. By the way, my other favorite toys are mousies and I bet I get that from my older bro, Picasso. After all from what I've been told, he's the mousie expert!

My new thing that I enjoy when sleeping with meowmy is to lay my little face on her cheek and I'll even sleep like that fur hours. Every night since I've been home, I'll sleep purrry close to her and when she wakes up, I'm still by her side snuggled up like a little ball of fluff. Now that's what I call meowmy baby bonding.

I've Now Been Home Fur An Entire Day!

As you can see... I'm a day behind with my "coming Home" diary entry. Mom wasn't feeling well last night because of her sinus infection so she wasn't up to helping me with my diary, not to mention that I'm purrry sick with a severe kitty cold, as well.

It was a long and stressful day fur my sister and me, yesterday, not to mention my sister, Karisma having a 12 hour drive back to North Carolina. Our pawrents stayed at the breeders fur about an hour before heading back home with us and we were a bit nervous to begin with. On the way home, we slept most of the time in the same carrier and didn't make a sound. We did wash each others from time to time but most of the drive consisted of napping. As soon as I arrived to my new home, the first one to investigate was Picasso and he wasn't too happy. He greeted me with a his a funny growl and then just left me alone thereafter. It was nothing major. then Biscotti came down while purrry low to the ground, let out a few hisses and then just walked away. Jaspurr, Aspen, Cocoa and Snowmitts were just fine and didn't threaten me with growls or hisses in any way, which really surprised mom since Jaspurr is known fur his "Jaspurr-tudes!" Kashmere was nowhere to be found as usually *giggles* Snowmitts was so welcoming and stayed close the entire time. Shortly after auntie Jo Ann & unkie Ed left, mom separated me from my siblings and placed me in the bedroom where I've been ever since. Snowmitts has been laying by the door and I know that he wants to be a mommy cat to me but since I'm sick with a kitty cold, I'm not allowed to have any contact whatsoever, especially face to face.

I would also like to tell you all about my wonderful Welcome Home pressies, as well as beautiful gifties given to my meowmy and send those special families a warm thank you!

Thanks so much to Auntie Jo Ann & fam (*PATCHEZ*) fur the adorable Pooh giftie bag filled with so many pawsome things. My meowmy received a really yummy smelling large Pumpkin Pie Yankee candle, purrty fall candle topper, 2-packs of note cards (Chocolate on the Brain & Cucina Italiana) and 2 photo albums which we can always use with such a big kitty family! Patchez & the Zoo Crew also sent all of us a bag filled with 2 Kirby Sticks, 4 fluffy catnip balls, cool laser mousie and 6 furry mousies...

Thanks a lot Auntie Sam & fam (*BOOGERS*) fur the cute Pooh giftie bag filled with all kinds of neat things. I received a cozy Whiskers City blue blankie, fun PetStages feather pair, 2 delicious cans of Tiki Cat, can of FF Medleys and 2 jars of Gerber baby food. My meowmy received a beautiful porcelain orange kitty cat wearing a hat with a yellow marabou and she's hoding a sign saying " "The More People I Meet The More I Like My Cat!" and a delicious smelling Yankee Candle in Spiced Pumpkin. That was so thoughtful!

My breeder, Lisa also gave me a nice kitty cat bag stuffed with all sorts of things as well. I received a handmade fleece kitty blankie, red marabou feather wand, 2-pack of feather balls, adorable Kitty Tails scrapbook (the binder looks like a fluffy orange cat's tail), can of FF & Friskies, sampler bag of Royal Canin/ProPlan (kitten) and Boyd's duckie & bunny. My meowmy received 3 purrty glass kitty cat decorative paper weights.

Thanks again to all of you fur making my first day at home so special and memorable and fur keeping me in your purrs & purryers during this terrible kitty cold. My meowmy would also like to take this moment to thank each of you fur all of her beautiful and thoughtful pressies...

Pssst... Mom will help my siblings write their Diaries tomorrow. She is taking sinus medications which has been making her a bit tired, not to mention spending a lot of time with me while I'm trying to recover from my kitty cold (n my previous diary entry). She is also spending quality time with my siblings which splitting the day between all of us takes up most of the day.

I'm Sick With A Bad Kitty Cold (went to vet)!

Yesterday afternoon after I arrived home, meowmy noticed that I had several sneezies going on along with a gulp sound in my little throat. I have been separated from my siblings here at home shortly after my arrival, yesterday afternoon. Mom slept with me in bed all night while I cuddles closely to her. This morning, I still had the sneezies and the weird gulping sound so mom called the vet immediately and brought me in to see Dr Wray. My appt was at 11:30 am but mom arrived earlier to fill out a new form fur me since it was my first visit with this vet clinic and Dr. Wray. I am now 4.4 pounds and my lungs and heart sound good. You should have heard me purrrring at the vet's... I sounded like a little motorboat! Unfortunately, I do have a severe kitty cold which Dr. Wray explained may pawsibly be from all the stress which I've endured within the past few days (neutered on Tuesday and then the drive to my new home on Thursday). My throat and entire area is swollen which could also be the result from the tube which was placed down my throat during surgery. The tube assists in breathing and delivers the General Anaesthetic. This a lot of stress fur such a little whipper snapper like me. I do have a fever of 103.3 which it should only be 102 degrees so mom is keeping a purrry close eye on me and has me snuggles under the covers in her bed. Dr. Wray has given me .5 of Clavamox 2x daily fur 10 days and then I'm going back fur update exam. I will keep all of you posted during my recovery which could take sometime before I'm feeling 100% better. As soon as mom notices something isn't right with us, she'll contact the vet immediately, even if it's a few sneezies.

I still need to write a "thank you" Diary fur all of my lovely giftes from auntie Sam (PorkChop), auntie Jo Ann (Karisma) & Lisa (breeder). Fur now, I will take photos of the gifties by themselves at least until I'm ready to pose with everything. Mom wants fur me to get as much rest as pawsible...

Today Is My FIRST Day Home!

This morning, my meowmy, auntie Jo Ann and unkie Ed got up early, had breakfast and headed to the breeders to pick up Karisma and me... They arrived at about 11:45 am, holding giftie bags fur Lisa and of course, the big carrier fur my sister and I to drive home together in.Our meowmy's took several photos, chatted with Lisa and then home we went. we were both so good in the carrier and not one meow or cry from neither one of us...

As soon as we arrived to my new home, unkie Dennis was already there to meet the both of us. he stayed fur about an hour and then headed back home. Karisma and I were purrry timid and quite shy of our surroundings but now I'm starting to get use to everything which may take some time. Picasso was not too thrilled at first as he made a funny growl noise along with a hiss or two and off he went. Jaspurr was purrty col considering that he tends to get Jaspurr-tudes when newcomers enter the home *giggles* As fur Biscotti... well, he gave a few light hisses but nothing serious and Snowmitts, Aspen & Cocoa were purrry furiendly.I gave them a few little hisses just to let them know not to mess with me but they never responded with one back. I never got to meet Kashmere yet but with given time, she'll eventually introduce herself if I don't do it first.

Before auntie Jo Ann & unkie Ed left, mom and untie opened presseis and took photos of my darling sister, Karisma. OMC, I received such pawsome pressies from auntie Sam (PorkChop), auntie Jo Ann (Karisma) and my breeder. I still have to have my photos taken with my gifties as well as post each and everything thing. Unfortunately, mom has a bad sinus infection and feels terrible right and the decongestant pills have made her feel sick to the belly now. She just wanted me to update my Diary to let every kitty know that I arrived home safely and I'm doing well. Actually, I'm starting to even come out of my shell.

Mom will attempt taking photos of my gifties, tomorrow as well as post a new Diary, thanking auntie Sam, auntie Jo Ann & Lisa fur their thoughtfulness. Mom had such a wonderful time with Karisma's pawrents these past two days and wish that they could have stayed longer. Auntie Jo Ann has a long drive back to NC so they wanted to get an early start.

Revealing My Sister, Karisma's Family!

It's almost midnight here on the East Coast and tomorrow (Thursday) is the big day that I'll be coming home, which should be around 1:00. That's not all... I would now like to reveal to you who my beautiful sister, *KARISMA'S* family is. Are you ready??? Taaa Daaa... It's the lovely family of *PATCHEZ* This was such a big secret which we couldn't reveal until her meowmy (auntie Jo Ann) finished her page, which was just moments ago. Now let me tell you all about auntie Jo Ann and unkie Ed's visit.

Patchez & fam lives in North Carolina so as you all know, it's about a 12 hour drive from there to here in New Jersey. They pulled up at about 9:00 pm this evening and mom was excited to meet them as well as all of my siblings. I was told that each kitty greeted them except of course, Kashmere because she's such a timid girl. As soon as they arrived and settled in with their overnight bags, everyone (auntie Jo Ann, unkie Ed, unkie Dennis & meowmy) went out to eat and had a really delicious dinner at the diner. Actually, unkie Dennis (mom& dad's good furiend) waited around fur hours until they arrived to meet them. Afterwards, they headed back to our home to start on Karisma's page which is now complete. Auntie Jo Ann & unkie Ed are spending the night and tomorrow, Karisma and I are coming home from the breeders*does happy dance* She and I are litter mates which makes this even more special.

My Neutering Surgery Went Well!

Good news... my breeder just called meowmy moments ago to inform her that I am now home and everything went purrry well. Now here's the exciting news about how much I weigh! Are you ready? Holy Cannoli, I weighed in at 4.2 pounds and that includes not eating fur 12 hours straight before surgery. That's more than any of my future siblings weighed when they were 12 weeks of age. All I can meow is "move over Snowmitts because here I come" *giggles* I'm now eating and will be sure to get a good nights rest. Unfortunately, my little dingle berry area is a bit sore from the surgery but before you know it, I'll be back to being ME!

I'm Getting Neutered Tomorrow!

Tomorrow is going to be a big day fur me because I'm going to have surgery. yup, I am getting neutered and will be home later in the afternoon, early evening. Mom does worry a little when any of her babies have to go through surgery but we all know it's snip snip and then I'm all finished. My other siblings will also be having surgery (both neuteted and spayed).

Mom went to the doctors this morning fur her sinus infection and she has it really badly this time. She even has a small fever 99.9 degrees. Her blood pressure was 120/60 which is actually high fur her as it's usually 110/60 but the doctor said her blood pressure was purrry good. She is now taking BIG antibiotics 825 milligrams 2x day along with a decongestant fur 10 days. She will be getting lots of rest fur the next 24 hours which she needs and should be feeling better soon.

That wasn't all... meowmy also got my covered Tidy Cats litter box, a nice large Petmate litter catcher fur under the box, cases of Max kitten canned food, more Purina Complete dry, fun Play-n-Squeak toys (Fred Lobster & Earl the Turtle). They're really neat with a microchip technology and make squeak noises when they're batted around *giggles* Mom even got several more fur future pressies. She likes to think ahead so every time she does go to the pet store, she'll pick up extra toys and put those away fur future occasions. We also have my sister, Karisma's giftie bag all ready fur when she comes back to my home. As you may have heard, mom's furiend is also getting a Ragdoll who is my sister Karisma. Karisma's mom is a Catster mom but we can't tell you just who it is yet until Karisma's page is set up which should be Wednesday evening? They will be traveling many hours before getting to my home on Wednesday evening. Mom is so excited and can't wait to meet them! Shhhhhhh... it's a secret!

Well, time to try and get some rest now. unfortunately, I won't be eating after 8:00 pm because of surgery tomorrow but I guarantee that I'll be starving as soon as I get home. Please keep your paws crossed that everything will go well with my 6 siblings and me fur tomorrow's surgery. I will update you as soon as everything is finished and I'm back home at the breeders. In just 2-1/2 days, my sister, Karisma and I will be home with our new families.

Going Home In Just FIVE More Days!

Today was dreary miserable in New Jersey. Not too long ago, meowmy was chatting with auntie Jo Ann (Patchez mom) when a storm was brewing. Moments after hanging up, it began to down pour like cats and dogs with lots of thunder and lightening. I has stopped raining fur the time being but is still drizzling with gray clouds.

Mom had to work this morning and unfortunately, she has a sinus infection so is planning on seeing the doctor tomorrow and hopefully get some kind of antibiotic or nasal spray. She has had a sinus headache on the left side of her head all day going through her passages. Purrrry painful from what I hear. I know nothing about the sinus but it surely doesn't sound too fun???

In just 5 day, I'll be going home to my furever family and wow, do I have a lot of siblings to look forward to. I have been warned that Jaspurr does tend to get a "Jaspurr-tude" but it will only last fur a few days. He will not attack me but instead, hisss and make funny noises. As fur the others, I bet that they will welcome me with open paws but mom is a bit curious as to how Biscotti will react since Mittens & Tiskers doesn't like PorkChop at all! It's never a plate of Cannoli's when a new member is introduced to the family but it will get easier with each passing day. I've also heard wonderful things about how Snowmitts & Picasso accepts new babies immediately as though the little whipper snappers are theirs. Who knows, Maybe all seven siblings will give me a big acceptance hug *crosses paws* Well, we're surely not counting on Kashmere since most likely, she'll be hiding under the nightstand *giggles*

I have made so many new and wonderful furiends here on Catster as well as receiving lots beautiful p-mails, giftes & rosettes. I'll Be Coming Home In Exactly ONE Week!

In just one week from today, I'll be living with my beautiful new family in New Jersey *chases tail* I was told that mom was purrry busy this morning cleaning and sanitizing kitty boxes. Actually, she's going out this weekend to get another box since she's getting a new little addition. Hummm... could that little addition me moi?

They're calling fur bad weather with high winds and heavy down pours tonight, tomorrow so mom has decided not to drive the long distance to the breeders fur picture taking as she feels uncomfortable. She wanted so badly to meet me but the weather will not be permitting, not to mention that mom is terrible with driving directions to begin with, even with a GPS *giggles* She didn't want to take the chance getting lost in extreme weather conditions. Unfortunately, auntie Sam and unkie Dan have made a change of plans and decided to go straight to the breeders from their house to pick up PorkChop tomorrow and will not be stopping by to visit with Picasso & family. Meowmy had hoped that they'd stop by on the way as planned since she would have enjoyed seeing them again but things do come up with humans. Maybe we'll get to see them over the Holiday Season and our door is always open, which I'm sure they know... Mom has explained to auntie Sam that shell be mailing out the gifties fur her (auntie) and PorkChop since we won't be seeing them this time around. By the way, Porkchop (my half brother) gets neutered today and as fur my sister Karisma and me... we'll be having our surgery on Tuesday. Before you know it, you'll find out who Karisma is and the wonderful family who will be adopting her. Can't tell you until she shares the news first which should be right before she comes home. If not before, it will be that day that she arrives back home. The new pawrents of Karisma will be staying at our home on Wednesday and pawsibly even Thursday and they're so sweet *does happy dance* Mom is looking forward to meeting this family and having them stay with her as well as my little sister, Karisma. I will tell you that they have quite a longgggggggg drive ahead of them.

being much more than you may realize.

This I promise you, my benefactor, that I will not be a burden on you nor will I demand more of you than you care to give. I will be a quiet peaceful island of serenity for you to gaze upon, a soft soothing body to caress, and I shall purr with pleasure to rest your weary ears. Since I am a gourmet who appreciates different taste sensations, I pray you will give me a variety of nutritious foods and fresh water daily.

You know, dear friend, how I love to go. Allow me, I pray, a warm sheltered place where I can rest peacefully and feel secure. If I am wounded in battle or suffering from disease, please tend me gently, and see that I am treated by loving and competent hands. Please protect me from the inhuman humans who would hurt and torture me for their own amusement. I am accustomed to your gentle touch and am not always suspicious nor swift enough to avoid such malicious acts.

My Name Is Cannoli And I'm The New Baby On The Block!

Hi *waves paw* My name in Cannoli and I am new to Catsterland. I was named "Cannoli" because of my beautiful Cream Lynx coloring. My Ragdoll siblings are also from the same breeder and I'm as well am the "hallf" brother of handsome Picasso (we have the same daddy). I will be arriving to my furever home on October 2nd, 2008 and mom is counting down the days which is only about a week away. I also have another "half" brother and his name is PorkChop (Boogers family) as well as a litter mate sister but I'm not allowed to tell you who it is until her meowmy is ready which will be next week. Actually, this pawticular family will be staying at our home the night before I come home and they'll be picking up their new baby girl at the same time. Her name is Karisma and she's a really purrty Blue Bicolor. Mom thinks it's so cool that Karisma and I are fully related and it even makes it more exciting and special. Did I mention that Karisma may be stopping back to my home to meet my siblings and me???

I can't wait to be with my lovely family and I know that they'll furever give me unconditional love and attention. Thanks meowmy fur choosing me to be your new baby boy and I can't wait to meet daddy as soon as he comes home from Alaska.
