Arrival Story:
My mom and dad were at PetSmart one day, where they knew they could adopt a rescued shelter cat. They didn't bargain for one they'd love as much as me, though! So it was between two of us - a young whipper-snapper only a few months old, a sassy little brat he was - a white short-hair with an attitude. Then mom and dad looked around a little more and saw me. I felt so sad and alone, and was sick - I had a cold. Dad opened my cage 'cause he wanted to meet me, but I didn't know what I should do. I hesitated. Then, real slowly I crawled out of my cage and on to daddy's lap and just curled up in a little ball. It felt so good to be warm. Dad seemed like a nice enough guy. Meanwhile, mom was checking out that sassy little white boy. She turned around and saw me with dad, and she knew she had to take me home and give me all the love I had missed all of my life. Guess I melted her heart or somethin' (that curlin' up in a ball works every time, "so cute" the humans say). That was last May, and it's September now, and those bad memories have faded. I love my new home it's the warmest coziest place on earth! I have all the food, toys, treats and love I could ever dream of! Purrrr.

After a few months at my new home, I started acting up. You know getting cabin fever. Runnin' around makin' a mess, chewin' things up, breaking stuff. In a word - badcat. So mom and dad took a vacation. They decided to let me visit Auntie Roxie while they were away. Well I had a BLAST there. Aunt Rox has 2 cats, Vladie and Damian, and 2 dogs Blackie and Mootzie. I had the run of the house! It was purrrfect. I played to my heart's content with all my new pals. And best of all I got to sleep in a comfy little bed with my Auntie's little girl Lucy. They even had a staircase (not like at home in the apartment) and I used to run and jump from the top to the bottom and land right on Uncle Dave's shoulder. Good times. I loved them and thy loved me. I even let my little buddy Lucy carry me all around even though she was barely tall enough to get me off the ground, but ya know why I liked her? She made me a tent out of blankets and stuff so we could play hide 'n seek! When it was all over I was a little sad to go back home with mom and dad cause its kinda quiet there (and my little girlfriend cried when I left), but my time with my new friends cured me of my badcat behavior. They put me in my place, but I showed 'em who was boss...sometimes. Oh well, time for my nap. Purrrr.

Forums Motto:
Epee is really a fencing sword ya know.

I show love in funny ways... I like to lick dad's beard and hair. Maybe 'cause I feel like he needs a bath, or maybe just 'cause I feel like giving him a kiss. And mom, well I usually just give her a hug when she picks me up after a long day at work and usually a little love-bite on her cheek:>

Mom and Dad went to an organization called City Kitties Rescue in Philadelphia to find me a playmate. I get lonely while they are at work all day so I can't wait! The place is not a shelter where my new friend is from, it is a network of foster moms and dads who help lost kitties get well and find forever homes. Mom is bringing home a little girl kitty, only 8-10 months old tomorrow. Her name is Cilantro and she sounds like so much fun (and she's really cute...purr, but I can't make any babies - oh well, she can still be my girlfriend. Who needs kittens to make a cat relationship work anyway!) Meow, I am so excited!!!
I'll tell you more when I meet her.
Peace & Love,
