Arrival Story: We found Bobbin as a kind of stray. I say "kind of" because one of our neighbours found him on a rubbish dump and took him in. She said she thinks he may have been mistreated. He refused to stay in their house and he would scream to be let out and bang his head on the door so they had to let him out. He began living in a bush just outside our house. As both of our cats had recently passed, our heart strings were pulled to the max. We started to befriend him, he began to trust us then he started to come into our garden and we eventually enticed him into our house with food. He was tiny - around 3 months old, his little body was filthy and he was covered in matted fur. He began to come into our house more and more but he hated to be shut in so we kept the door open for him. He then started to sleep in our kitchen and we tried to close the door, which we did eventually and he didn't seem to mind after a while. Now he is around 7 months old (Sept 08), totally dematted fur - he LOVES to be brushed and has the silkiest fur EVER, he sleeps IN our home and has made it his own, he is so happy and purrs none stop, he is loved to bits and he adores taking his cod liver oil every day. He is very lucky we took him in and had the patience to persevere with him because if it was left to our neighbour - he may very well be dead by now!
