Arrival Story:
Kola was born outside at the marina where we live on a houseboat barge. She and her sister MiniMe were very close, being the only 2 in the litter, May 13, 2007.
In April of 2008, Mini came to live with us inside, leaving Kola outside...she acted like she wanted to come in also, but she was just too scared.
On September 14, Kola looked like she was at death's door...she was suffering from an URI that she had been fighting for at least 2 weeks. My husband and i couldnt stand to watch her deteriorate before our eyes so we rescued her and took her to the ER vet.
She currently resides inside with all of us...including her litter mate Mini and her sister from another litter, Karma.
We are looking forward to a big family reunion as soon as Kola is finished with her medication!
