Arrival Story:
Ruckus showed up as a kitten and cried for 3 days outside. He wouldn't let us get close to him. A friend came over and sat outside in my shed singing On a Bicycle Built for Two have the night and he finally came to her. We have a feral colony and thought he was feral at first. A few months later I noticed he had fleas . Rather than buying Advantage like I had for my own cats I bought Hartz flea drops. I'll never ever forget that day. I used Hartz flea and tick drops on Ruckus within 20 minutes I started to notice he was acting strange. Seemed to be confused, disoreintated and started stumbling around. We bathed him and took him to an ER Vet . He spent 2 days at the Vets in critical condition. The Vet bill was$389.81 and the cat sustained neurological damage from the flea drops. His head always tilts to one side and he has a very weird way of laying down, with his back very arched and he will only turn in one direction. Please never use Hartz flea products.
