Leo hates it when I trick him into being pet, Leah likes being brushed but hates the actual brush and will try to bite it

They both LOVE string, a shiny fish, and a long crinkly tube they can hide in and run through

Leo will literally fall asleep anywhere while Leah likes anything puffy and squishy

Arrival Story:
UPDATE: Leo and Leah have been adopted!!!! When Leo and Leah were about five weeks old, I got a phone call from one of my friends. Her daughter, who attends U of I in Champaign, had found two kittens that had fallen into their window well! They were scared, cold, and had fallen at least 6-7 feet. Well, my friend joked that they had fallen into the right window well because no sooner had she called me and a rescue mission was put into place! My friend and her daughter met halfway to Champaign where her daughter gave her the kittens they had gotten out of the window well. I was going to come to her home and get them later that evening. Well, when I arrived, I was in for a treat as Leah had escaped out of their car and was running around their neighborhood in the pitch darkness! To make a long story short, she was miraculously rescued a SECOND time in one day!

Bio:
When Leah and Leo originally arrived at my rescue, they were in pretty bad shape. Their eyes were crusty and dirty, their fur was covered in a sticky substance, and they were COVERED with fleas. Two days later, they had received a dosage of Revolution and had gotten baths, and they were feeling like a million bucks! Also, at first, both kitties were very timid around humans. Leah has come a long way and will let me rub her, pick her up and snuggle with her, and she is a total purr factory!!!! She will also let strangers approach her and pet her as well. She is pretty much a normal kitten now. Leo, however, has been a little slower with progress. He does like to be by me, and will follow me around. He has also now progressed from being terrified of any human sound to actually letting me touch his paw and batting at my hand. He will also eat treats out of my hand. He still won't let me pet him, though, and will run if I directly approach him quickly. I am also happy to say he will come out for strangers now. He has never hissed or bit, also. He is just scared, not mean. Another neat thing about this unique duo is that they LOVE other cats and want to be all of the other cats in my rescue's best friends. :) These two siblings have been through A LOT together and will only be adopted together. I feel they really rely on one another for security and therefore I am NOT willing to separate them. Leah has been spayed, rabies and distemper vaccinated, has tested negative for FIV/FELV, and is microchipped! Likewise, Leo has been neutered, rabies and distemper vaccinated, has tested negative for FIV/FELV, and is also microchipped! An adoption questionnaire and adoption fee required. Owners must be experienced with socializing timid kittens and MUST keep them indoor-only.
