 Quick Bio:
Likes: Snuggling. Muffin is the #1 snuggle baby!

Pet-Peeves: The vets! Not being the center of attention. She'll put herself between you and whatever else has your attention. And if that doesn't work she will paw you.

Favorite Toy: Foam balls and yarn.

Favorite Nap Spot: My lap, cuddled next to me lying down, an empty box or on newspaper.

Favorite Food: chicken! It's like catnip to her. Just a wiff of chicken will make her snap to attention out of a sound sleep.

Skills: Meows and croons to you constantly, gives love and affection to all freely. Greets anyone who comes to the door. She's never known a stranger, and even those who don't like cats like her.

Dwells:

Arrival Story: ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Miss Muffin passed away on April 6th, 2006... She became suddenly very ill and I had to take her to the vet hospital and help her not be in pain any longer. It took all my love for her and care for her well-being to gather enough strength to find a vet hospital and then take her there. I think she knew too that she was leaving this earth. She was so complacent and stayed snuggled into me to the very last. She died cuddled into me laying on my chest.
... I don't know what I'm going to do without my little best friend and saragote daughter, which is what she was to me. She gave me 20 very precious years of her uncondtional love and the gift of allowing me the pure pleasure of being able to love her completely and without restraint. She will always be with me in my heart and memories.

Bio: A friend of mine who knew I was looking for a long-haired siamese called and told me about some kittens in a pet store near her place. My son's and I drove the 45 miles in total excitement. Only 2 kittens were left. I held the little boy first, he was very cute and had a nice purr. Then I held the female, oh my! she melted right into me and I became her slave that very moment and have been for nearly 19 years now! She is such a total sweetheart, I can't imagine life without my special little companion.
Muffin was born in Castle Rock, CO and lived in Colorado Springs the first 4 years of her life and has been quite the travelor since (TX, IL, UT, NV, and now Washington). I take her everywhere with me, she's great in the car and likes to sit in the back window watching all that goes by. When she's tired of riding in the car (usually after 10 hrs) at each stop from then on she'll beg strangers to let her out! She frantically meows & paws at them through the window. She was even a good sport on the plane trip she took from Austin, TX to Chicago, IL. The airline attendants wanted to see what I had then fell in love with her immediately and insisted I let her stay on my lap instead of the carrier. I believe this was also so they could pet her when they passed, which they did frequently!
Muffin can be quite the stinker sometimes. Like when my son, a teenager at that time, pushed her out of the bathroom where her litter box was because he wanted to take a shower without the smell of fresh whatever. When he went into his bedroom after showering he was greeted with a pile of fresh 'stuff' in front of his dresser! On another occassion my other son, also a teenager at the time, awoke in the middle of the night to find Muffin whizzing on him! He swore he'd not been mean to her that day but he must of done something for her to react like that. Other than those 2 times she's never missed using the litterbox.
