 Quick Bio:
 Coloration: Black

Likes: Sleeping, playing with string, eating

Pet-Peeves: Being pilled for my asthma, dogs, car or air travel or anything that involves me going outside

Favorite Toy: a piece of string, a plastic cat shaped straw, a length of ribbon, a catnip sock

Favorite Nap Spot: behind the bed where I cannot be reached

Favorite Food: wet food, but anything in the bowl is good for me

Skills: Talking to my humans, burrowing under rugs or sheets, helping with tarot. I will play fetch to amuse my human male, usually with string. I like to assist in writing, reading, and doing any sort of magick.

Dwells:
indoors

Arrival Story: Nephthys was brought home from a college student's apartment. She latched onto the front of her primary human and looked up at him and howled. We promptly left and she has been his constant companion even since.

Bio: I am a talkative kitty. I speak and speak to the humans, mainly the male, but they don't seem to understand me most of the time. I have to press them to get my point across. I will nibble their finger tips to wake them up to fill the food dish, or just to get them up on time. I let them know if there are bad or dangerous smells around too. I am very helpful.
Nephthys has asthma but she is on medication for it and is a very healthy kitty otherwise. Taking said medication is another story but she deals with it in a semi-dignified manner (ie: we don't get sent to the ER for giving her medication).

The Groups I'm In:
Black Cats Crossing our Paths, The Black Cats Club

How Much I Like Other Animals:: Not at all. Well, ok, I can deal with Oberon and now I suppose I will have to get along with Samhain.

I spoke to Mama & I told her that I will *not* tolerate that....KITTEN in MY home anymore. I attack her at every opportunity & will continue to do so. Furthermore,
(Mom note-no real damage, just a few scratches, but Neppy just scares the living daylights out of the poor baby, won't let her near the other food station or cat boxes if Neppy is let out of the bedroom. Neppy has her own personal box & food station in the bedroom and Samhain keeps trying to sneak in and check it all out. This usually leads to a small and Very Noisy war. It's heartbreaking to watch Neppy stalk her :( Can't someone PLEASE help us find Samhain's Forever home? And now, back to Neppy's complaints.)
and it is NOT FAIR that *I* get locked in the bedroom all the time and that brat has the run of the place! This is MY HOME, not that little brats home!! Grrrrrrrrrrrr! Why Mama ever went out and rescued that foul little noise box is beyond me.
(Mom note - again, we do switch off so they both have time to run around and make "the face" at each other's smells when one is safely away from the other; Neppy has a tendency to exaggerate)
However, Samhain is not safe here, and, as I am now on total disability, I cannot afford 3 cats. I love Samhain and that is why I am praying that someone will please give her a new Forever home. I don't know about how well she would do with kids or dogs, but I know that she chirrups a lot and isn't into being held (yet) UNLESS Neppy is out, then she is content to be held until my arms fall off. Samhain gets along Very well with Oberon, which further infuriates Nephthys. Samhain would do well with aither a solo kitty home, or one other companion, about her own age (estimated 11 months, she was a rescue). Please. please let us know? ^*_*^
PLEASE, PLEASE HELP!!

I miss you Ivanhoe. I love you too! It's just not the same now.
Oberon, quit jumping on me or I will smack you again! Hmm, seems I recall being like that once..

My brother wrote in his diary yesterday. He didn't really tell the story of me at the airport in an accurate manner. Ahem...Pardon me while I wash my ears for a minute..
There, that's better.
Ok. The humans stuffed us into these horrid bags and made us wear these really gross pink harnesses. Now, do I look like a pink cat? No! I do not. Thank you very much...so.
We were taken via very noisy car to the "airport" and taken inside the noisy place. I was removed from the bag and walked through this archway in my male human's arms. This person next to him made a very strange noise and I KNEW that they were going to probably send out the cat-eating-three-headed-wall-crawling-600-arm-monsters. I knew it! So I had to get down and at least try and fight my way to safety. I knew it might be futile but wouldn't you try and escape that sort of fate? I fought very bravely! My human, as much as I love him, isn't really good at letting me down when I want to be, so he was caught in the cross-fire. Fine, if you want to be eaten by monsters, don't listen to me, just stand there! I escaped from my harness - a trick which seemed to amaze them all - ha! - but the human is fairly dextrous and managed to keep a hold on me. He fought me to the ground and then into the bag again. I would not go quietly! Fine! They had me. I resigned myself to the fate I could smell that awaited me, but I suppose the humans finally picked up the scent and moved along. It was very traumatic.
They brought us here and now I am safe. I need something to eat now. I will go and look surly at the humans.
